It's a visual novel that is mostly text. Choice matters so little that honestly having the images and text be presented in a video or constant scroll would have been preferable; it at least conveys how little your input matters. The 'day to day' is quite prescriptive and there are not really options to deviate from the linear progress. The game is very on rails. You can go buy new clothes and such, but that is not enough to be considered actual player agency. You can in some cases choose to not engage with certain characters, but most 'choices' present 2-3 options that are all the same, just different wording. You don't get to decide what happens next with anything of consequence. The writing is well done, grammatical or spelling errors are difficult to find and the characters are represented accurately, in that they act and talk like real characters. Each character's motivations and personality are easy to pick up on and understand, which helps you form an opinion of them. Of course, the trouble is that your (the player) opinion doesn't matter within the game. There's significant irony in one of the main characters telling you how much the progress is " your choice" and how you "won't be pressured" all while the game makes decisions for you. Most of the time, the 2-3 response options offered do not match what the player would actually want to say. The posting here is not duplicitous, it does not claim to be what the game isn't, but more agency and ability to have things progress as the player would truly like, is needed for a higher rating. I think the creator(s) did a good job overall and 3 stars from me is representative of how much is good, while leaving me feeling unfulfilled. Good stuff, just wish it allowed the player to play.

v0.9 Holy Crap! What a fucking ride. 11/10, Blossoming Journey has to be the best HTML game I've experienced, and I've played quite a few. Story - 12/10 The story and level of writing are actually on another level. There were multiple points in the story where i was either grinning like a fool so happy for the MC or genuinely teary-eyed. I never expected to choke up playing a naughty game, but here we are. It doesn't come off as gimmicky either, all of the characters are super well done and all their interactions and dialogue is top notch. They're believable and human in a way you don't see in almost any other games of this genre (transformation, sissification, feminization, whatever you want to call it). I say almost because i haven't played every game out there, but the way the people act and think in this game has so far been a unique experience. So far, there have only been 2 characters that act like they're living in a porno. Everyone else is grounded in actual plausibility. Even then, one of those 2 characters even acknowledges that she's basically acting out a fetish . Art 8/10 It's real life porn. What do you want? There are a few places where an AI image is used as a stand-in, but i think that has to do with an issue the creator is currently having with Patreon ToS. That is the same reason that there are images and videos that are missing from the story where they otherwise would have been. But i didn't actually notice that for myself, i found out about it through the discord, so the missing images went unnoticed by me.

Decided to stop after around turn 1570. I don't like ntr/cuckold and it's one of main themes. The other main theme is bbc obsession. I like slow burn but walls of text are sometimes too much. I often found myself skimming the pages. It takes a lot long time for changes to happen, though it feels like it picks up pace when MC starts accepting their fem side/bisexuality. Mental changes and MC's inner monologue was also nice read sometimes. Generally there were moments I enjoyed in this game. I think world doesn't react enough to what MC is wearing arousal / stress / stats don't do anything, You are often asked to pick one of 2-3 choices but they all lead to the same result or skipping scene I wish this game focused more on some awkward moments where mc is forced to enter feminine role instead of constant ntr/bbc, There were a few moments like that with cosplay, sitting on Brown's lap or wearing skirt at caffe but these were few and far between.

6/10 v0.8 Great ideas, but there's not a single character that I was made to care about. Good: + No mindless convoluted sandbox, that is designed to waste as much of your time as possible. Very user-friendly. + Really like the feminization+NTR combo: Spoiler Feminization works very well with standard ntr tropes, because cucks in these already portray feminine characteristics - to make them contrast against other guys. And at the same time feminization makes the cuck sexy too - the character, that has the most screen time out of them all. Very important in a sex game. Bad: - Characters' likability: Spoiler Ranges from 'unlikable' to 'neutral'. There's a lot of text, but none of it is spent on making 'this character' more likable than when you met them. Including MC. You meet a character. Then the author spends time and effort to make this character less likable. Then he spends some more time on trying to say that "they're not so bad", "they kind of have a reason for it", "they are not bad - they are just 'normal'". So you bounce between 'unlikable' and 'neutral' - but NEVER go into "this girl is so sweet", "I really care about her", "I really want her relationship to succeed", "I care - and scared - about her future; I want her to see her happy tomorrow, in a week, in a year". No. When they don't care about each other - I don't care about them. And when they show something towards each other - it's always on the level of strangers that just met; the common courtesy. Spoiler The most affection that I have seen demonstrated in this game - is when MC's girlfriend gets horny seeing his feminization. But every single other interaction between them ends up negative. Another girl wants to sell herself for a modeling job. She doesn't care about MC, or about the photographer, or even about her lesbian friend. She just cares about money. Why should I care about her? MC's childhood friend. There's literally no sweet moments between the two. In fact practically every interaction between them is how she DOESN'T love MC. Never was. And never will be. She doesn't even give a fuck about her lover. He's a 'big cock' to her. She's having fun. Why should I care about her? What is the single likable trait in her character? Or even some scene, that portrays her as more likable than some random girl from the street that you just met? That's every single character. And I want to reiterate it - including MC. Why he loves his girlfriend? Because she's hot? Awesome. Why, he's in love with his childhood friend? What character trait he loves in her? What sweet moments did they share to show me that his feelings are not just "he's horny"? That I can respect his love and care about his feelings? The author put a lot of effort to write a lot of words in this game. And after them, I care about these characters less than when I started. - Fragmentary nature of the story: Spoiler There's a day for this girl. There's a day for that girl. There's a day for these two girls. Such structure means these stories and characters don't really interact outside of their little bubbles. Here's a guy for childhood friend. Here's a guy for gf. Here's a guy for these two 'lesbian' girls. Here's a dom-girl for your MC. It makes the story predictable, monotonous, and less exciting. You don't look forward to what's coming next. "Oh, it's this part incoming. This girl will go to that guy, they will talk about this, and they'll do that." Painfully predictable. But at least thanks for not forcing a death-by-thousand-clicks sandbox on me. So I can skim fast through these predictable scenes. Overall: There's some good stuff in this game. You absolutely could try it. And it's not like all the characters are disgusting psychopaths. It's just characters' feelings for one another is too important. It's THE most important part of any story. And there's practically none of it in here.

As of 0.6, an excellent slowburn with a thrilling story, with scenes being long enough, but not outright everywhere. Good writing, great characters. The game controls feel open wordly but the game isn't an open world, the author does explain this. I feel some other reviews very unjustified. I only wish it had keyboard navigation. Edit for v.0.7: Dev added keyboard navigation for most content, reducing the amount of clicks considerably . They also added some shortcuts (that I at least don't remember being there: - For instance on Monday going from the photography club straight to your living room, where the next scene happens every Monday. Goes to show they care. Another strong point for me in this game (others may prefer a sandbox style) is that each character really has an alotted time and you won't be skipping their scenes, which avoids some of the "oh you missed a scene for a character on Wednesday, do a whole week of passing time until Wednesday comes around again because this character is bottlenecking the rest of the story" type scenario.

Review of 0.5 In a trend I see from a lot of adult games, this one is best summarized as a slow burn, HTML based, sissification and NTR game, but it's a pretty good one. The slow burn lets you really build interest in the characters. The writing is well done. It's one of those slower adult games that I can enjoy more without cumming constantly, which is good and in a way bad I guess, but still good overall. I could do with a little more action, as is my complaint with most slower titles, but overall I definitely could still recommend this one. Also, notably, the game can get pretty kinky, but there is still a level of aftercare. The game slowly corrupts you and wants you to accept it, it doesn't just rape you right out of the gate, is the best way I can put it. Despite not having a ton of visual content, it is done with a lot of restraint so that you aren't taken out of immersion. Some HTML games just throw random porn gifs at you constantly and there is less of that here. I look forward to the progress, seems like there is a good amount of content here so far, even if a lot of it is writing. The writing is good. (Not JUST text though, there is still a fair amount of images)

Came back to give this a chance after trying 0.1, and while I enjoy the tags included in the game, I just can't get into it. I prefer a little more forceful feminization and while there's a few choices in the game where MC can be reluctant towards something, it pretty much always ends up with the MC's inner voice telling them "This is what I want." That being said, I've enjoyed other games where the MC is more open to their changes, but the text in this game is far too verbose for my taste. I keep having to go to the same places/events every day, and each time, it's a bunch of paragraphs of text that I can't be bothered to read. I just end up reading the dialogue boxes and skip 80% of the other text and honestly, I don't feel like I'm missing anything. I like playing text-based games, but this just feels like reading a novel at times, and that's not my thing. It's also odd that this game has a sandbox tag, even though it's about linear as you can be. You can at times have one page events like watching TV or taking a shower, but as far as I know these have zero effect on progressing the story or any effect on what happens in story events.

What is the point of making a sandbox game if you have to do everything in a linear order. Theres also no meaningful choices to make so just write this in a kinetic novel form and save us the time from clicking through this clunky interface. So much time wasted in clicking daily just to go from your bed to class and back and then suddenly your character remembers he has this one specific thing to do today so you have to go there and then make your way back to bed. Felt like this game was just actively wasting my time

A very Pleasent surprise! To start of, I assume you do know what you are getting into with a game like this and wouldn't click on it if you don't enjoy sissification or cuckolding content. I'll have to say tho that there are two things you probably should be awayre about this game before you start. The game is increadibly linear. While it does include the framework for a more sandboxy experience, that really is not something the game makes use of. Instead I think it's better to view it as a sort of Visual Novel, where you go from one scene to the next, with maybe an occasional choice with minor consequences thrown in. This is a very slow burn of a story. If you are hoping to see our MC get fucked within minutes of starting the game, you should probably go for a different game. That being said, this is very much a story worth sitting through in my opinion. The actual story is very well written and surprisingly emotional. While there is a more typical "bully takes your girlfriend away" story to be had here, with your roommate Clara and her new Boyfriend Darius, the "cuckolding" part surrounding your girlfriend, follows a much more emotional and consensual storyline, involving a very charismatic and caring dominant couple. If you are into mommy and daddy issues, this is the game for you! Very much looking forward to read how this story continues in the future!

Watch as a perfectly normal dude who's done nothing wrong to anyone gets humiliated and degraded for no reason at every possible occasion. There's no choice in this game. All you can select for yourself is some arbitrary stuff like clothing etc, but even then there's nothing other than feminine clothes. Nothing you do in the game seem to matter. Regardless of what you do, you inevitably end up going down a preordained path where dialogue options loop you back onto the path that's hard-coded into the game's progression. Didn't finish it, but then again, it always stayed the same, in that all you do as the MC is be manipulated and preyed upon by genuinely terrible people.

I've played many feminization/sissification games and this one is special, because it's a very different dynamic than a usual sissification game. In my opinion this is a perfect netorase dynamic, where the MC is a willing participant of cuckoldry and feminization (although was encouraged, it was never forced/usage of some sort of hypnosis). Atta did a great job at making a fine line between humiliation and wholesomeness, which is sometimes hard when writing a netorase content. The slow burn also makes it more immersive.
