Broken City

PROS: - See my opinions section for details. Character models are not bad, LIs are decent, MC is OK. Story is simple but at least not based on porn logic (so far) One animation was actually semi decent, but was so short and sudden you could have missed it. CONS: - See my opinions section for details. Typos, spelling and grammatical errors. Lack of UI settings, opacity, font style/size. Renders feel, "Washed out" the dev did mention lighting and thats probably the reason. Audio can do with work, music is OK, not best though, lack of any other audio is the bad part. Lack of animations, only renders for lewd scenes. Pacing is off, scenes like first one with Jane in toilet is so sudden, then done, transitions are too quick, abrupt and jarring. Dialogue is generally poorly constructed and flow is broken quickly during many conversations that stop abruptly. OPINIONS, SUGGESTIONS & FINAL REMARKS : NOTE: The following remarks are my personal opinions and thoughts, which may provide more context and could be useful to the developer. (Read them or don't) Corruption system is a bit weird, does it really matter for the MC, e.g. Stripper at lockers, staring at her tits gives corruption, but she is not on the list so who gets the stat? The MC? Where are the stats, what do they matter? This is vague and poorly implemented. Per above point, a good example when the MC is at the pool party, he can get a BJ during the massage or skip it entirely, if you skip it you get no points with Paige, if you accept it, but then reject it then only do you get points. Bottom line, this AVN will need a walkthrough as these stats are hidden. I mean even money is you can steal and is deducted but there is no stat showing how much money you even have. Frankly get rid of the sandbox elements and just got full on VN please. The dialogue is really stupidly thrown together, at least ever so often, the conversation would be normal, and suddenly one character breaks off the chat mid stride, its not natural and kinda leaves that WTF feeling behind. I am not sure what the dev is doing here but its a have backed lazy way to structure your dialogue and makes the player feel that none of the conversations are worth reading because you couldnt care to complete them either. TLDR: Not too bad, but honestly its got a dated feel, like 10 years ago AVN. The quality is mediocre and there are a few issues with quality, lack of animations, decent audio, poor writing skills etc. Can be fine with some more effort, but highly doubt this will break 4 stars (maybe with a lot of work) and definitely not 5.
