Bully Breaker

This game is promoted as one where you dominate everyone, when in fact, you are dominated and demeaned by pretty much everyone else, including the spirit that is supposedly helping you. If you want a story where the story and dialogue is literally mostly you getting insulted, outmaneuvered, pushed around, and literally beaten down, you might like this game. Otherwise, you might feel like I do, that this is a bait-and-switch with a hateful and toxic aftertaste that the artwork doesn't really make up for. In fact, the art you see in the screenshots is nicer than what you see or do in the game (there's pretty much no animations other than the title screen and the name entry screen, and you don't actually have sex with anyone). In addition to that, the UI is pretty broken and annoying, with the typical Ren'Py options disabled, such as the ability to properly save and load your progress, and even the ability to change settings like volume levels. In summary, it is a lot less than it promises.

If I were to bump it up to 2 stars, it would be due to favorable art including animations, but everything else sucks. No gay content but feels homoerotic due to constant presence of the shirtless, hypermuscular, gray-haired dude. The screen is narrow/vertical despite not being a cell phone game. The text is small and slow and there are zero settings, zero options. It's a Japanese game mostly in English, but with some parts in Portuguese. Basically, the worst use of Ren'Py I've ever witnessed. There's an Irish girl with Japanese pubic hair. Might sound strange but looks stranger.
