v0.4 CHAPTER 3 OUT NOW FOR SUPPORTERS! Behold! A completely brand spanking new chapter is available, fresh out of the oven waiting for you to play. In this chapter, we finally get to meet Juri, The Witch Doctor. Is she friend or foe? I guess we are about to find out. This chapter includes: Over 1700 new lines of code (around 750 lines of dialog) Over 350 new unique renders (poses, facial expressions, camera angles) Over 40 new animated shots (including angle/speed variations, sexual and non-sexual) This chapter turned out to be almost double the size of Chapter 2, whoops, and also this was the most fun I ever had writing since I started this novel. Let me know what you think INTRO REWORK OUT NOW FOR EVERYBODY! Added 7 new animated sex scenes to the intro (fully voiced and plap plap synced): Added new Anal sex scene Added new Veronica animated sex scene with only the MC Added new Judith animated sex scene with only the MC Added new Judith animated masturbation solo scene Added new Futa animated sex scene with MC on top (optional) Added new Futa animated sex scene with MC on bottom (optional) Added new Femboy animated sex scene with MC on top (optional) Added a whole bunch of new option selects for the intro future vision previews, some of them are just skips and some of them leads to alternative animated scenes. Made futa, femboy, netori, lesbian and orgies COMPLETELY optional. For the hardcore people, don't worry, I preserved the option to see kinky freaky gangbang visions, but added alternative less crazy options for the vanilla people. Rewrote a few lines, added new ones, reframed some angles, made some things shorter and straight to the point with less useless yapping, etc. But in essence the intro should remain the same. AND NOW THE TECHNICAL STUFF THAT NOBODY CARES Added new "Chapter Select" option to the title screen. Added back button and removed the log button. You can now use "Space bar" to progress dialog, and kept H as the actual "Hide" shortcut. Fixed issue on Android where the name input would be hidden by the digital keyboard, making it impossible to see what you're typing. Improved UX by increasing dialog buttons size (especially useful on mobile). Improved UX by increasing Save/Load UI size (especially useful on mobile). Revisited ALL chapters LINE-BY-LINE to include new effects and fun polishes: Implemented new flash-white effect to enhance the impact of some fun whack/smack moments like Ace Attorney. Started implementing line by line curated dynamic text reveal speed to give more nuance on sloooow phrases and GAH! SUPER FAST! lines, making the dialog feel more real-lifey like they're being spoken (just like Ace Attorney, again, big fan). Changed the dialog blip sound speed to be more aligned with the amount of syllables being spoken. Added a whole bunch of new fun "classic anime moment" type of SFX to my library and you'll notice their use from Chapter 3 onwards. Shortened the game's build name to "Bunny Hero" instead of "Bunny Hero Works Part-Time" because a few people were reporting "long path" error messages when placing the game inside C:\big\long\path\here, so this name change should alliviate the problem's frequency (Windows is very sillE). Halfway through the development of this update I learned about Ableton's Drum Rack, which will let me randomize plap samples, making them sound more organic and believable. Slighly polish tech that no one cares and no one notices unless you pay attention to the plap sounds variety in the future. Halfway through the development of this update I also found new ways to make the game look prettier, with post-processing, fogs and settings, so you can expect the game to look better and more consistent moving forward. The game's style of lightning and shaders are still all over the place so hopefully I'll be able to lock-in soon a very specific artsyle. Also started adding Low Pass filters to certain sex scenes angles that make them sound muffled like they are being observed from outside. Small polish things that no one cares. WARNING: This tech update will cause your old save files to be deprecated (AGAIN). Sorry, but it had to be done, hopefully this is the last time. To mitigate this inconvenience I implemented the "Chapter Select" feature for you. v0.3 Immense progress has been made towards Chapter 3, and from what I have implemented so far it is already bigger than the previous chapters. I have also implemented a whole bunch of new tech stuff that will be further explained on the day of release, please look forwards to it, but a few exemples are: Added chapter select option to the main menu. A pletora of exciting new SFX and VFX that will be used from now on, giving me the opportunity to do a whole bunch of fun "classic anime moment" jokes. Also started making use of line-by-line curated dialog reveal speed, giving more "life" and "weight" to dialog lines, making them feel like they're being spoken slooowly with nuance or GAH! SUPER FAST! (just like Ace Attorney, again, I love that game) Also started playing around with a "crash out" animation like Ace Attorney for one "breakdown" moment. Looking at the content made so far, we already have: Over 1200 lines of code done (+550 being lines of dialog); Over 250 unique renders done (unique poses, facial expressions, camera angles, etc); Chapter 3 almost fully written. All SFX and VFX are already in place; Music halfway done. We are still pending: The main "action" scene, with synced sounds; The final "bagoosh" ending of the chapter with an interesting cliffhanger (already written); Re-playing, proof-reading, testing android, debugging and polishing like 10 times over and over (like I usually do, it usually means more writing and rendering new stuff).
