v 0.14.8 Good: Animations are suprisingly good, expected something worse for a simpsons game. Big character variety Open-world access is not bad. Bad: Way too much searching tasks which ended in searching in forums for help. Weird journal system, isn't as easy to use as in other games. Too many time-related tasks (Be there at thursday in the evening for example). Final resume: In general, this game has much potential to be a top tier game which definitely could be enjoyable, but it isn't at a stage where I would recommend playing the game. If you have nothing else left to play or you are searching for games with potential, give it a shot. But for new users searching for games that will be one of your first games of that sort, you may wait for this to get more updates.

Story is a bit meh and the sandbox dosent make game any better, you have alot of collecting quests which is never much fun and the standard setup where you have to be at the right spot at the right day and time, quest hint helps a bit but alot of the times nothing happens when you go to the right spot at the right time....proberly due to having other quests tied into one another which makes it even more annoying and if you dont cheat the grind is boring as fuck, also it dosent help when hints just tells you go find 4 items? no clues on where or how or anything. As for content im just not seeing it, theres barely any atleast with some of the characters i tried to go for to see how game was, like Lisa and Maggie and a few others, was kinda supprise to run into so many "in development" things and girls considering game is 3½ years old, Lisa had a HJ thats it, Maggie had a finger grind? and then its end of content? but there hasent really been any real content? so yeah really nothing there to come for. Not sure if theres a single sex scene in this game but i after constantly seeing end of content i just gave up, wasting to much time for 0 rewards are just no good. Art is pretty good atleast but that alone cant hold up a game. Animations for the few i saw looks pretty decent. Music is meh.

Another poor RENPY game. Just like many others this one fails in being fun. Art is good (with some exceptions) but it is rare and leaves players with balls as blue as Marge's hair. Played it for 2+ hours and never saw any penetration just some suggestive poses and nudity. Gameplay is mediocre to boring. Money making is extremely tedious (it is purposefully miserable to encourage patreon sales). And you need money to progress. Fortunately save editors are free. All quests are variation of item hunts (gets boring fast). Another annoying thing is character's schedule, often you know who you need and where but they just don't appear there, it isn't fun at all. Porn, as mentioned, most scenes are just nudity or suggestive poses with very few exceptions. Also some characters have extremely short story. Game is in development sure, but why do you place a character if they have 0 scenes? Overall don't bother with this, you will just waste time.

Burns Mansion actually exceeded my expectation. I went in expecting a low quality game but I was greatly surprised by how well developed the sandbox is. The graphics and art are very well designed. There's nothing that looks like it was rushed or done by a rank amateur. For all intents and purposes, this DOES look like Springfield from the Simpsons cartoon. That said, the Springfield map itself does feel way off even in a show that never had a consistent layout of the town, but that's a small matter. So this plays out like your typical sandbox. Characters want things in their quests and you'll often need to do other character quests for the items they need, and so forth. It's tried and true system and it works here. The story itself is as typical as it gets. You're an original self insert character that interacts with the characters from the show. The major overarching story is as predictable as it gets, but it shouldn't ruin your enjoyment. All of the adult Simpsons characters are as they appear in the cartoon, but all of the younger characters have been aged a decade or so into being legal. The cool thing is a lot of one off characters like Mindy show up and it's awesome. In addition there are characters not FROM the Simpsons, like Amy from Futurama, plus characters not from a Matt Groening developed show which I won't spoil, but everything has been done very nicely and you'll enjoy interacting with them. The major downside is there are a lot of things in the game that are obtuse, even by sandbox game standards. Something obvious sometimes take more effort than should be needed for a simple item, and a lot of questlines don't progress as properly intended. Lastly, there ARE gamebreaking bugs in the game. I have reached a point in the game where I literally am unable to progress because there are no characters to interact with at a certain point in the day and I can't go to sleep at that time to progress time either. Things like this will need to be worked out. *The creator has informed me that this isn't a bug and you can advance the game as per normal from the main map. Sorry about that dev. Overall, I'd say this is a fun experience for Simpsons fans and if you want a similar experience to other Ren'py exploration style games then this might also interest you. The game itself resembles The Simpsons enough to make it worth the parody status.

v0.10.1 public This is a Kinetic Sandbox game where you play in the simpsons world with some crossovers. The art is so so, yet strangely appealing with the occasionally really hot ass. GUI could be better, especally the girl's guide which just has a picture and a love number. no name, no hint. Playing the free version you will miss out on some locked content. there is a scavenger hunt you cannot pickup becuase it is patreon locked... skipping the tedious grindy minigame is patreon locked... To be honest there are far too many waifus in this game. so they are not getting proper development time. Every girl has scenes that won't unlock even when I allegedly finish their content... author replied to me informing me that despite what it looks like, it is actually just a placeholder. Usually the missing scenes are the actual sex scenes. So the only scenes available are teasing or groping. The fact so many girls have groping scenes but only 1 has sex shows a lack of focus. Most of the game isn't grindy, but portions of it are. Also skipping time is a bit awkward and I find myself having to skip time very often as most things have to be done in the morning only. few events are at noon, evening, or night. So those time slots have to be skipped. Another problem is randomness of location. every day (modified by some rules) a character will get randomly situation. So you can't just sweep through all the rooms in the game, you have to do so repeatedly since you might have just happened to not proc the encounter previously. There is something charming about this game which makes me rate it higher than I probably should. So... one extra star from that.

This is the best Simpson parody game currently, and isn't a standard VN game where you just slide through dialogues. You get to do more after the intro, there is so much to explore around the game. Variety of different characters & their story progression. This isn't your typical normal PORN game but an actual game that doesn't always throw you with the vagina all the time. There is a lot of scene, and characters in the game if you play through it all. There is sex scene, there is blowjob (LISA), there is masturbation, dildo scene with the twins, massage, church scene. . a lot more. Dialogues are excellent , great character progress. Quite a lot of different places to explore, some may not discover the 2nd map, but you just gotta figure that out. As for grind part. . the only grind part is kiwi shop, that's it. Not sure why there is complaint on this, don't play it if you can't handle one minigame. Literally only one mini-game.

The content seems VERY thin... If there is any actual sex scenes in the game I haven't found it. Theres at least 2 upskirt scenes and a hand job scene... that's all I've found. Otherwise the game is VERY grindy you have to just wander around lost on little treasure hunts. The game really needs to use the journal better to give the player some better direction so that it's not such a boring slog to find the litany of lost items. And the game should pick it's priorities... in terms of what characters it develops. Otherwise it'll remain unplayable until it's essentially complete.

Burns Mansion is a great game that throws you into the world of the Simpsons, without making you play as an already exisiting character and making you feel as though that character wouldn't actually do the actions in the game. instead it uses a completley new character to give you an entirely new experience and adds freedom in what your character would say or do. Personally this game is one of the only parody games i've seen that seem to do that well

This game is surprisingly faithful to the show, the writing blends in so well that you'd think it was one of the infamous 'lost adult episodes'. The art style is tastefully done as well, a very surprising combination. The content so far is very promising and I expect it'll keep improving. I've got my fingers in many different parody pies and as far as Simpsons parodies go, this is the most promising and highly polished of the lot. Great story, faithful quality art and decent tunes. This is definitely a surprise hit for me and is going to be one I follow very closely from now on. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed

This game is early on in development, and the 5 stars I'm rating it is in comparison to other early games. There isn't a ton here yet, but what's in the game is very good. The dialogue is shockingly reminiscent of the TV show, and the art is spot on as well. This game has the potential to be the best Simpsons parody game yet, I'll be keeping a close eye on it.

4 for now, with potential to 5 as the game goes along - will update when I feel it gets there. Art is 4/5 for me, but that's a personal stylistic preference, and there are animations which def can be 10/5. Writing seems like it has a good chance of staying at 5/5 - I can hear all the characters voices in my head as they talk, for the most part, so they are written like themselves. Not much on gameplay yet, there's only one minigame that's decent so far, and there's no sex stuff yet but it's still very early on in the game.

First top quality Simpson game i played until now, the graphics look nice and attractive, it's like i'm watching the show when i play it. The story, the dialogue overall is top notch and the story of the game is interesting being seen from another perspective. For an early new game it looks amazing and i take my hat off for this masterpiece, i'll be waiting with pleasure next updates. EDIT: I decided to low the rate of the game because unfortunately, the decision on adding new characters that have nothing to do with the Simpsons makes no sense to me, i find this unnecessary especially when this is an early game and there are already characters in the game who needs more content and it doesn't add up to the story of the game at all.
