Corrupted By Love

I try not to hand out 1 star reviews, because even a bad game that is at least competently put together I think deserves 2 stars. You see where this is going. Corrupted By Love is broken. There are a bunch of images that don't load because the dev put spaces (and double spaces) in the file paths of those images in the script file. Which is the kind of thing you pick up on immediately when you, ya know, play your own game. Before releasing it. The dialogue is endless, inane, AI written drivel. It's just terrible. Characters go on and on and on without saying anything meaningful. There is no real story. The characters aren't even good looking, just generic anime AI slop. I'm not against AI images when they're done with care, and the slightest bit of QA, but this is just lazy. Dunno what else to say at this point. Don't play this game.

If you're looking for some nice AI sex scenes you're gonna have a good time. If you're looking for an in-depth comprehensive story...move on. Dialogue isn't great, but it's not terrible. 3 different path options. You can choose to just play the game, or you can just straight up choose the route you want at the beginning rather than wonder whether you're making the right choices along the way if you want, and there is an option under "new game" to just see new content as well. Solid effort if you're just looking for a fap. The story isn't bad either. It's not going to keep you engrossed really, but it's good enough that just playing the game has it's merits too.

A very high-quality and well-made NTS game. 1) The images look good. 2) The story is interesting with options for choosing routes for each girl. 3) The girlfriend looks cute and her body is proportionally there are no giant breasts or ass. 4)The VN is combined with the phone. 5) There are ambient sounds.

Corrupted by Love is a game about poor grammar, repeated lines of text and a girl with a word vomit problem. It's your typical NTS phone game at its core, though it's early enough that there's very little of that type of content so far. Honestly, there's very little of any content so far. It's a first release, but the game is like ten or fifteen minutes (if that). The real glaring problem though is the writing. I'm willing to give a pass to occasional typos and writing mistakes, but this game is RELENTLESS. Most lines of dialogue have a typo, grammatical error or are repeated text from the previous sentence. This is the type of thing even the most cursory of editing would catch and really signals how little the dev cares about their game. It doesn't seem like they played it even once, or perhaps didn't write it themselves. The actual written content is rough too. The main LI just absolutely vomits words at the MC given the slightest response. That could come across as eager or cute done right, but it fails to hit the mark when it's every sentence. Honestly, most of the characters say more when they could say less. The fact that a lot of sentences sprawl across multiple texts or text boxes doubles down on this fact in a really negative way. There's basically nothing in the way of story either. The female lead was living away from her boyfriend in another city (why? dunno). She comes to the city to join her bf (why now? dunno). She goes out with his cousin to buy sexy clothes for him (cool, but random). She comes back, dresses up sexy and they fuck. This is the story so far. Note how basically none of the events are linked and every opportunity to give the story direction or intrigue was ignored. A slice of life story could manage this, but the characters would need actual personality to make that work. These have none. The art is fine, but doesn't gain too many points since it's ai cg. It's all still images which look fine, but there's no particular attention to facial expression and plenty of extraneous fingers and awkward joints. Overall, the game is a mess. I'd assume the dev dropped "write me an NTS porn game" into chatgpt, but he'd have less grammatical errors and typos. Don't waste your time on this one.
