About Cupibun

Cupibun is a 2D CG fantasy adventure by Fruity-Booty, made with the Others engine. You play Cupibun, a cupid exiled from the spirit world for being too lewd and sent to a violent mortal realm. Her task is to use her powers for good and stop the world from being destroyed. The core idea is making enemies fall in love with each other.

The current build is v0.1.1, released October 20, 2024, for Windows and Linux in English, uncensored. Development continues. The update added Metroidvania-style game creation, dialogue, quests, items, and a map, plus improved interface and gamepad support. A settings menu now lets players adjust display, sound, and controls. It also includes an intro slideshow, cutscenes, better enemy behavior, a rebuilt first location with a boss fight, three unlockable bonus images tied to gold coins, and one new fullscreen animation.

Developer's description

Meet Cupibun, the cupid banished from spirit world for being too lewd! She was sent to the mortal world, full of violence and strife. Now it's her job to use her power for good and save the world from destruction. The main feature of this game is the ability to make enemies love each other!

v0.1.1 There are too many changes to list them all, but here are the most important ones: Added functionality for creating a game in the metroidvania genre. Added dialogue system, quest system, item system, map. Improved GUI. Added gamepad support. Added settings menu, that allows to customize the display mode, sound volume, and even controls. Added intro slideshow and cutscenes. Improved enemies behaviour. The first (and so far the only) game location has been rebuilt. And now it has a boss fight. The previous bonus image has been replaced with three new ones that can be unlocked by collecting a gold coins. Added 1 fullscreen animation.
