In Day by Day the story revolves around four characters, who fled Italy due to mafia problems. The game is set a decade after their arrival in the US and begins with Alice (rename). The four protagonists, now accustomed to their new life, will face new problems. Any action taken with each character will change the storyline for the other three. Spoiler: Characters description Alice is an Italian, passionate woman, a teacher, a mother and a widow from mafia gangsters. She fled to USA to start a new life, but her dark past keep tormenting herself, when she tries the best she can to make a quiet, happy life with his family. But things don't always go in the right way. Carlo Carlo is the new husband of Alice, he saved her and protected her from Mafia. He brought Alice, Samantha and James on United States, hoping to be safe there. Unfortunately for them troubles keep following the family. Samantha She is James's elder sister, both of them fled with Alice and Carlo to the US. Her father was brutal with her and his mother Arianna. One day he beat Arianna so badly that he sent her to the hospital. She ask Alice to take care her children for a while. But in the chaos of departure, Alice took them with her. James He is Sam's younger brother. When both of them fled from Italy, he was just a child, he does not remember his past life and maybe this is even better. His new life is in US, but he had a hard time adjusting to the new place. He does not have many friends and never had a girlfriend too. Until now...

This could have been pretty good if they just had one MC and just let the story run. Instead you get one story with multiple points of view from a bunch of characters. I just found it so confusing, you spend half your time looking at each characters phones seeing the same pictures over and over again. Also there wasn't much sex and what there was, was spaced really far apart. I also found Sam really unappealing and for some reason they gave her the bulk of the story.

The idea for this game is solid the exaction tho is done poorly. 4 protags that stories interweave so things in protag 1 affect protag 2 and so on but so far the dev assume you watch/played all the sex scenes but with the way I played it protag one never had sex with any one but when the game switches to protag 2 the game assumed you had sex with everyone which makes the story unjointed and broken. This is game is either poorly programed so it does not pick up all the choose flags, poorly written or some combination of the 2. I would skip this for a year or longer and then see how the dev has corrected this.

Day by Day 0.21 I haven't played it since the first release. And on the first release, I played it up until the protagonist switched from the mom to the son. Since then, I haven't felt inclined to play. Maybe because I'm just not feeling the whole four protagonist mechanic. I'm going to lower this game from five stars to four stars and hopefully will one day play this game again, maybe from the beginning again. I really liked the story in the beginning with the whole mafia vibe, the menacing guy trying to kill her, her escaping, and son on. I wasn't too happy with the new live-in boyfriend, but I mean I don't think he and her are that close so it's okay. It's just the game vibe changed after that. But like I said, I haven't played it since the first release and maybe I just need to find some time to play it again. Releases seem to be really slow too. I feel like there has only been two releases in one year (too lazy to check and confirm it now). Day by Day 0.1.2 This is a tremendously fun game. It has a very unique and engaging path system that gives you full control over endless possibilities. The models and renders look great. The story and other features are good too. The only flaw that I can see is that English doesn't seem to be the developer's native language and there are a lot of errors with grammar. This is definitely a five star game. Play it and enjoy it! And support the developer if you can.

Since this game had no reviews I decided to try it out and write one. It's still too early to make a proper judgement, but I'l give it 4 stars for now. What immediately springs out is the complexity of this game, in the sense that there are four characters to play as, and each have a ton of choices (for the moment you can play as the mother and the son). If the dev can pull this off, it's going to be great. But at the same time it could lead to an inextricable mess. We'll have to see about that. On first sight I think the characters are pretty well developed and interesting, and the story succeeds in avoiding too many cliches (I mean, you CAN play as the perverted son, but you can also take a differrent approach, which I really aprreciate). There are also some neat game mechanics: for instance each character has a special perk (mother has memory , son has intuition ) which allows for some extra 'mini-game' content as it were. It's nothing too important, but it's a nice touch. So yeah, still a bit early to make a decent review, but it looks solid. Good luck to the dev!

v0.1.1 I gave it a 4/5 for potential, but it is probably more realistic to rate it with 3/5. Characters are... colorful. A bit too quirky for my taste. Writing is passable, I'd say. Animations are quite good. The biggest letdown is the sex scenes themselves. They consist of an animation or three playing on a loop and that is it. No text. Not enough to make them hot, for me. I can find better pictures, real or animated porn myself. I like porn games to offer additional layers of immersion compared to that. But, maybe there are plans to add description in sex scenes in the future, and if you don't mind watching just 3D animations, then you will probably like this game.

The game looks really promising as it has all the potential to be one of the best among the recent ones. It has a realistic and non-banal story which is made even more interesting by the fact that it is shown from the points of view of different characters. The renders are overall of good quality and highly detailed. In particular, the appearance of female characters is very sexy and coherent with their age (not some templated models which look all alike). I hope that the author keeps developing this game because it has a great future.
