Review of DeadMoon Survival [v1.0] ... ... as a game: * The story is just okay. At the start, it feels like nothing really happens, and then by the end, everything feels super rushed. * Good dialogs. * Has music and sounds but no voices. * No bugs, perfect performance. ... regarding its erotic side: * Character design is good. Only two girls, mother and sister, but they are hot enough. * The scenes are good. But the rushed ending doesn't do them justice—just when things start getting good, the game ends out of nowhere. * Decent animations. * It has music, sounds and moans (no fully voiced). * Has Gallery mode. A good game with nice lewd content but a rushed ending. I would recommend to play to anyone fan of post-apocalyptic theme or the corruption on incest relationships.

Game is good, story is good. Why the one star then? After such a great story so far, he rushed the ending so insanely much, it left me really pissed off. Like really. I enjoyed the momcest so much and he just ends it all abruptly due to "circumstances irl" or something. Like cmon, man. At least have the balls to finish your story. This very well could have the abandoned tag, because how much of the story is cut off. Shame, real shame. I am getting real sick and tired of whimsy developers. Half the good projects on this site end up getting abandoned, only to eat up the site space. Its the whole problem with western lewd game developers. They start something, release demo and keep milking fans and somewhere along the way, most of them abandon the project. Like if you dont have the mettle, why even start. Makes me sick. So yea, dont even bother with this "game". Its unfinished and will leave you wanting more. The Dev had talent, too.

I am very conflicted, this game had potential; it's hard to explain but some of the writing is quite excellent - however this quality kinda fluctuates a lot. I skipped quite a bit of text, some other dialogues or scenes I really got excited about. Story is very linear, choices basically non-existent. Some of the story seems really weird, like dev was high or really drunk and went down some weird rabbitholes. I don't like this type of models but the faces of the girls are very pretty in some renders. Daughter especially, is average in some and excellent in others. Mom is just pretty period. The incest back and forth is a bit too much, as often is in these asian style VNs. Some slow burn does good but the back and forth gets a bit too infantile sometimes. The start of the story was very bland and quite boring. Then it had some great elements in the middle; then it gets cut short when it feels like things actually start moving. This is a very conflicted 3 * because in reality it's 2 but with some 4 or even 5 star moments. Wasted potential. Incidentally some parts of it remind me of a top notch very similar zombie AVN, I mean even the school... if this inspired the other then it had its valid use.

First things first, this is an incest focused game set in a zombie infested world. When it comes to this kink/fetish I don't avoid it, but neither am specifically looking for it, if it's there it's whatever. Why do I feel the need to emphasize this? Because this game focuses on the male mc, his twin sister, and their mom, and how this taboo relationship can form in this post apocalyptic world, which honestly works far better for an incest premise than in most other games I played. So I feel if you like incest, you might enjoy this one maybe even more than I did, at least the incest dirty talk parts, that I admit got a bit much near the end for me. I for one liked that we only had 3 main characters, that way we have a stronger focus on the characters and we really get to know them, the guy can be a bit too edgy or corny at times, but I quite liked the 2 women, they are quite different from one another, body and personality wise. As in most games that have incest, it is a the male mc that tries to corrupt his family members, but what I liked here is that his twin sister is just as perverted as him, and also lusts after their mom and her brother. Now when it comes to the adult content there is the incest, but there are 2 or 3 avoidable scenes where the mom can fantasize about the past, the period when the apocalypse started and her and her family (the kids were quite young) hid with another couple, and if you choose she could have cheated on her husband with that couple. I did not go that route, but from what I checked the game offers plenty of choices, for example I had the option to only do things with the woman, and not the man. Another part where the game offers you a choice, is with what happens between the mom and the daughter, as I said above, the mc's sister is also quite the pervert, and she is trying to corrupt their mom too. From what I could tell you have the option to stop this, I for one did not, since their scenes are really hot, and it never feels like they are cheating on the mc, but to each their own. Now to the reasons why some might not enjoy this as much, the start is quite slow, I did not really mind, but overall after the end of the game, I did feel like the story could have used some better planning from the start, sprinkled in some events and such. Another thing, I think the characters are hot, great models, but most of the animations are just fine imo. Also if you check the gallery, there are plenty of scenes there, but if I remember correctly there are only 5 or so scenes that feature vaginal or anal sex, I will however say that they are quite long, and overall I did not feel like it was a minus for me, the other scenes were quite hot too. And now the biggest problem I imagine most people will have with this, the game ending is rushed, plenty of loose ends, we get two endings that leave us with even more questions. Also, after the game ends we also get a few words from the dev, they say this is not the end they envisioned, that the story was cut short, but they are not able to continue developing this game, so they tried to at least give us some semblance of an ending. I can appreciate the honesty, and since I quite enjoyed this game, for most of it, I decided to give it 4 stars. tldr - incest game, with a good premise for this type of kink to happen - only 3 main characters is beneficial for really getting to know them - slow start with a strong focus on character development - 2 love interests, both are fun, likable, and different, body and personality wise - plenty of options when it comes to the adult content - rushed ending, the story kinda ends out of nowhere even if there is an attempt at giving us 2 ending to choose from.

One of the few games that the story was really good for a porn game. This game makes you think about how your morality would either remain or falter in a traumatic and apocalyptic scenario (especially as a teen/young adult). The H -scenes had a lot of teasing/blue-balling for a majority of the story, but they were well done. It actually leads to a good payoff towards the end of the story. They had lots of sounds, moaning, slurping etc. the dialog also really built up the sexual tension in the scenes as well. My only overall gripe was i wish there was more H-scenes like the final ones (at the end of the game). Also, you can tell that the dev wanted to continue the story more or had more endings planned, but for some reason (prolly patreon censorship) had to cut the story short. (recommend a playthrough of this (especially if youre a fan of zombie apocalyptic settings).

5* is a rather gratuitous rating, but there is a reason for that: This game knows what it's about regarding its kink. There isn't any worth mentioning story or writing, kinda cringe sometimes, some plots came from nowhere. So why 5*? First, the renders and the hot scenes. They are one of the best, especially taking into account HS, and the scenes are long, detailed and super steamy, with a touch of blue balling at the start. Imho, some might be long drawn, but worth it. Then, the build up, which is done rather masterfully. There is no f** fest right off the bat. There is sexual tension, there is touching, everything in the right place. Thirdly, what the game does, and there aren't a lot of VNs ( I know one more) which do, is to create the illusion of choice. The story is pretty much linear, however the game allows you to "choose" the sexual content, and this is what I want from a VN: let the dev tell their story, their POV, but let me choose the lewd part I want to enjoy. And now for the final and most important reason I gave 5*. Usually, in VNs/adult games/whatever with the incest kink, there is no plausible premise. Usually the MC is a horny dog listing for mom/sister/aunt whatever, but for no actual reason, other than them being hot/frustrated etc. In this game however, the premise is elaborated a lot. The context is presented plausibly: if we were in the same scenario, we "know" (no spoilers) that there aren't other survivors, what would we do? What is the point of the human life (engraved in our DNA), other than reproduction? Also, without an actual society, where are the actual morals? These questions were given a serious effort to be answered (we can disagree as much as we want with the POV offered in the game), in a plausible manner, and this is what I enjoyed the most: the Dev took an effort to convince me about the incest kink in the context of the game. Of course there is lust and pleasure involved, but in this context/premise, I was left under the impression that these were secondary results of the reproduction process of our DNA. I should deduct one star for the abrupt ending, but even so, the result was very satisfactory

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. This is one of those rare AVNs that actually makes you feel something beyond the usual adult content. The writing is emotional and surprisingly deep, with believable characters and relationships that grow naturally over time. You can tell a lot of care went into building the atmosphere — the pacing, the tension, the soundtrack, and the way scenes flow together all make it easy to get completely immersed. Visually, it’s beautiful. The renders are detailed and expressive, the lighting fits the tone perfectly, and the animations are smooth and well-timed. Even the smaller interactions have weight and personality. The story kept me hooked throughout — a perfect mix of survival drama, emotion, and intimacy. It’s tragic that development had to end earlier than planned, but what’s here still feels like a complete and memorable journey. Huge thanks to the devs for creating something so special. Easily one of the best AVNs I’ve ever played.

"They call me The Potential Game: -0 resolved plot-points -0 will to keep going from the author -7 same-y will-they-won't-they scenes that get interrupted the same way" This abomination was abandoned right at INTRODUCING the fucking main villain. You read that right, this fucking thing ends minutes after the BBEG appears, along with 2 slap-dashed, 5 still images "endings" and a "hehe sorry about that chief" from the author. Models are... fine? If you try to ignore the hideous black pimples right under the heroines vaginas. And no, it's not an anus-gone-wrong, it is lower, where it's supposed to be. No, this is... A zombie STD? Who the hell knows, but it's revolting. And it hilariously stretches during the scenes. The only thing keeping it at 2 instead of 1 is semi-competently written cheap incest fantasy.

One of the most tame and bland zombie survival games out there. There's only 3 characters and none of them are interesting, switching from "god i want to have sex so bad" to "i can't possibly have sex with them" more often than a bipolar girl. I guess the game needed to be stretched for 4 years with this constant back and forth for some reason. In the beginning there were hints that things could be interesting and their safety would actually be put to the test, but apparently the knee was bent and the spicier scenes were deleted. Play it if you want a boring sex triangle between your mom and your sister. In fact go check out sinful summer too, a similar slop with an even worse mc.

Decent game on paper, the "beginning" of the game is very long, while understandable, building the lore, the relationships etc... The more the game advances it just starts to shower you with H Scenes, regardless of the setting, and as other reviewers pointed out, they are extremely chatty, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but especially as it is going forward, it just gets repetitive. While I'm personally not a huge fan of supernatural related plots, I was getting in the story, as it introduces you many things that were the reason why I was continuing playing the game and even skipping some of the H scenes. And that's where the game is deceiving, I'm playing mostly "Completed" tagged games as I'm expecting to get the full story while playing, and when the things gets interesting, you're just met with a "Sorry I have to stop there, look at these 10 renders of what it could have been". I've put 2 stars for the effort, but this game is Abandoned, not Completed, so if you're expecting to get a full story, go for something else.

Plot- Same old apocalypse scenario. Story- Same old incest scenario, with a twist. The mother landlady or whatever you want to call Her, is just another cheating Slut With false Morality. Best part of their story I'm going to use that term loosely is the apocalyptic aspect. Mother- I wish I had some choices here because I would have abandoned her ass outside. Due to the berating chastising and contradicting viewpoint she has, and always attacking the male character when it was not warranted. Example: The son goes out to Retrieve medicine for her, and He gets ripped a new asshole for saving her life. So yes, for someone that ungrateful they better stick close if we're going out, because I will not be so inclined going looking very hard if they go missing. Sister- Typical nefarious siblings Rivalry. But not as cold as the mother character, meaning way easier to look for if needing saving. Needs anew Tag "Sexual Acts"-- The gallery count is 46 scenes and 43 of them are simple Fap sessions. (Not counting the NTR content) Sex scenes-- Three in total with NO Options on how to finish the scenes after 8-10 hours of reading. I'm not counting the NTR content even so that will be Seven in total. Really bad balance of Scales if you ask me truthfully, I don't care if you do or don't . Renders--- Pretty good for honey select renders What can you do with that program away. Overall, the story of hung on to, I shouldn't do this, I shouldn't do that, oh I'm doing it, but I know it's wrong aspect of incest thinking, I mean that bullshit played out before the first Gallery Page was filled. This Walt Disney line of thinking of subverting people's expectations of not giving options during sexual content meaning strong sexual content if you don't know what I mean, I mean FUCKING, And not giving options there when you know it has been a long read for your audience(8-10hrs for me) In my eyes that type of choreograph of one scenes Will lose any future support.

TL;DR Overrated, pretentious, cringe. I almost never use the skip unseen text option, but the action scenes here are simply unbearable. Bad visuals. Bad story. Only a few good H-scenes. Story and writing — 1/5 The game starts somewhat okay — a typical zombie apocalypse — but the further it goes, the worse it gets. The world simply doesn't make sense. How do they still have running water? A city water pump station? Really? After six years of the apocalypse? On what power source does it run? Electricity, right — after six years? And when the pump finally fails, they fix it with bare hands. The list of small details that shatter the story’s believability is endless. In the middle of the game it looks like the characters themselves start to acknowledge that, but it leads nowhere — it’s forgotten soon after, and the author instead piles on fantasy / sci-fi / chosen-one tropes. Writing is awful. The best word to describe it is pretentious . The author tries too hard to be poetic and philosophical; it feels silly and unnatural. Just WTF is this: “ But she was there now, under him, vulnerable; ready to take the might of his triumphant cock .” Bruh — that’s the cringiest thing I’ve ever read in an H-scene; instant boner killer. Phrases like that are everywhere; they totally ruin both H-scenes and the story. Near the end, characters keep finishing each other’s lines constantly, and it feels terrible. Dude, we get it — they’re sooooo in love; please stop. Once would be enough. Action scenes are pure cringe. Sorry, author, but this is a smut AVN, not The Matrix or John Wick , and you are not Michael Bay. Railroaded choices. If you don't pick the MANNLY_MAN option, it’s either an instant game over or an H-scene is skipped. The LI’s have no real agenda; their lesbian behavior depends entirely on your choices, and it looks pathetic. MC — 1/5 He is unbearable. He is weak at the beginning and it looks like there might be interesting character development, but no — he becomes an edgy badass anime-protagonist out of nowhere, and it looks pathetic, that's not how character development works. His inner thoughts are ridiculous, and the bad writing makes it worse. He’s the worst part of the game. I intentionally picked the “wrong” choices hoping for a happy mom-daughter ending without him, but in vain. H-scenes — 2/5 Two out of five — only for a couple of decent lesbian scenes. They’re rather good and are the only reason the game is worth a shot. Pathetic MC and bad writing ruin them. The author tries too hard to sound worldly and not like others , which just turns me off — I don't want philosophical essays during sex scenes. By the end of the game, the dirty talk boiled down to the typical: “Fuck me hard with your huge cock” and “Beg for it, slut.” Visuals — 1/5 I don't like HS, but it can be okey in some cases — this is not one of them. I have no idea in what universe that skin texture is “good”; it looks awful. It doesn't look like shadows or wrinkles or anything natural — it looks like corpse skin or dirt; just disgusting. The MC's pubic hair clips through his balls and looks really bad.

First and foremost, I'm pissed off. It would be so easy to get a 5 out of 5. Let's get started. Sound design, graphics, animations, simply top-notch. The game's running time is easily over 30/40 hours. The developers, above all, have a very good eye for scenes and scene design, and I'm not just referring to the sex scenes. You have to have a knack for that when you're telling a serious story. That really underlines the quality. The story started sooooo well; to be fair, it's a zombie apocalypse scenario. Since reinventing the wheel is practically impossible, a lot of it was predictable, but it was still written in such a way that you were always on the edge of your seat. What I liked so much is that just because it's this engine, you don't HAVE to resort to the anime cliché. While the story begins with a mature one, it unfortunately slides too quickly after a long, good build-up into this run-of-the-mill "I am the chosen one." It occasionally jumps back and forth between a Resident Evil/Last of Us and a typical shounen anime. Then I come to my two biggest criticisms. While the first one seems like a high-level nitpicking to me at the beginning, the second point makes it all the more annoying. First, the actually harmless part. It's always interesting to see the narrator's perspective apart from the protagonists. A bit of poetry and philosophy is also a nice touch, but my god, there was way too much poetry thrown into every little physical proximity. While quite refreshing at first, after so many hours of play, it becomes unnecessary and at times truly cringeworthy. Spoiler The second main criticism isn't just that the ending wasn't finished, they created two endings that weren't resolved. Doubly awful. The developer apologizes at the end, but come on, man. In the first ending, you just get a run-of-the-mill Griffith from Berserk and a story you want to see finished, and in the second, the more mature ending, the next cliffhanger comes instead of ending it properly. Only one, Elisabeth gets pregnant and becomes a visual twin of her daughter, who apparently has some contraceptive from somewhere. Yes, thank you very much, you should have spent less time making Shakespeare out of the erotic scenes. Nevertheless, I have to appreciate this work 4/5

V1.0 Pros: Interesting plot, but never fully explored or explained due to the rushed endings. Good amount of renders, and content is not missable, managed to see every scene in game without a walkthrough. Cons: Abrupt ending, majority of the game was slowly building up plot threads, hinting at a bigger narrative in between the daily life of the family, but ultimately zero payoff and no explanation regarding the deus ex machina moments during the danger segments of the story, only hints at what the plot wanted to do in the epilogues. H scenes being removed from the game due to the developer abruptly deciding to change genres, I would understand adding a disclaimer then not making new content for it, but why would you spend development time just to remove content that is already finished and unintrusive? Slow burn H. Normally this would not be a problem if the character development itself flowed well, but due to the rushed ending we went from the main trio mainly doing foreplay and teasing, tempted to commit incest but get angry when the other person is doing it, leading to the ending where suddenly its back to back creampie threesomes where everyone can shamelessly fuck and speak like highly experienced pornstars. QTE events during the action segments, there are zero hints to which is the correct answer, although it gets better in the later parts where it only requires single clicks instead of navigating nested choices under time pressure.

2 points only for the render. The rest is nothing special. The story is a typical zombie apocalypse, with two endings. Before the end, you will be warned that the game will soon end, and you will need to choose an ending (the difference is only in about 10 renders and a few lines of text). The mechanic of clicking on a specific point does not make the gameplay better, as it is still the same default RenPy. In fact, I wanted to write a review for another game, or rather, for another version (those who have been following the game from the beginning will understand) of this game, but things turned out the way they did.

First off, you should know that this game contains scenes of unavoidable femdom as the the MC is a sissy boy who is both emotionally and physically weaker than both his mother and twin sister. This is a zombie incest game that is both simultaneously slow burn and a blue ball simulator for 70% of the game. What's great about this game is that it's character focused: there's only 3 main characters which are the MC, his twin sister, and the mother. Most of the sex scenes in the first 70% of the game involve some sexual tension with a character only to be rudely interrupted by the other female. With the reptitive format of the blue ball sex scenes, you also get a lot of repetition of the drama going on between the 3. Basically, there's some slice of life stuff and then there's drama. In fact, they fight and argue about mostly the same exact topics even though they fought about it and resolved it 30 minutes ago. The MC is an extreme sissy boy who wants to be stronger. The problem is that he doesn't find his courage until way late in the story and the way he finds it is not through actual growth but due to some weird amnesia/science fiction plot device which felt very unsatisfactory. What this game does really well is the progression of the sex scenes. The vaginal sex is basically what happens near the end of the game and those scenes are the best in the game. Unfortunately, the game ends in a massive cliffhanger. There's a lot of potential for this to be a great game, but it falls short in so many ways.
