About Dealt By Chance

Dealt By Chance is a point-and-click dating puzzle made by AstroKaen in Unity. It uses a 2D CG style and asks you to spend twelve dates matching cards solitaire-style while using powerups to move each encounter forward. The core loop blends card puzzle work with romance, as each date aims to reveal a hidden side beneath an innocent demeanor and create special moments that feel shaped by chance.

The current build is v0.0.2, a demo released on June 4, 2026 for Windows in English, with no censorship. Development is ongoing: the demo includes two dates, and the creator says it will receive further updates before a planned full release in the third quarter of the year. The latest changelog lists v0.02 as the initial release, so the available build introduces the early card-matching date structure rather than adding new content beyond the two-date demo.

Developer's description

Spend 12 dates matching cards solitaire-style with the help (or hinderance) of powerups, all while warming up your date and getting a peak beneath her innocent demeanor. Special moments are bound to come up; what love might unfold when its dealt by chance?! Spoiler: Trailer
