Defeat Is the Goal is a Godot-made 2D action roguelike and quest RPG from solo creator GitGG. You play as Roxy in a world where losing fights or finishing story quests can unlock animated adult scenes, so defeat becomes a way to progress. The game mixes wave-based combat, exploration, and explicit NSFW content, using 2D animated visuals and monster encounters.
The current build, v0.15b from September 23, 2026, is still in development for Windows in English, Ukrainian, and German, with no censorship. This update adds Location 2 and portals linking Town, Forest, Ruins, and Graveyard. It also introduces four new quests, four erotic mini-scenes, one boss scene, named quest NPCs, and two Roxy abilities: Volatile Burst and Elixir Catalyst. Enemy balance, ability telegraphs, one-handed controls, and quest markers were also improved.
