Despair is an adult visual novel made with Ren'Py by keixii. It follows a privileged young man as he leaves his home country after losing people close to him, then begins again in a school where he joins the unusual Class F. The story mixes romance, humor, and a school setting, with choices that shape friendships, relationships, and whether he moves toward healing or deeper despair. Its presentation uses 3DCG artwork and a tone centered on grief and nightmares.
The current build is version v0.2, released on July 9, 2025, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, is available in English, and is uncensored. This update delivers Episode Two, after a long delay, and includes 2,300 images, 6,100 lines of code, 27,892 words, and 9 animations. The creator notes that future updates are intended to arrive more quickly.

Despite his elite family background, he chooses to explore the unorthodox Class F, filled with eccentric and chaotic individuals.
As nightmares blur the line between past and present, he slowly uncovers hidden truths about his family, friends, and himself. Along the way, his choices shape relationships, friendships, and his own path toward healing or further despair.

2. The issue with text being hard to read in certain scenes has been addressed! I’ve added borders to the text to improve visibility.
3. The issue with player-inputted name, not correctly appearing on some scenes has also been resolved.
4. File Size Optimization, I've made significant improvements to the game’s file size, reducing it dramatically from (1.216gb to 292.2mb) while maintaining the quality and performance.
