Eternum

Eternum is one of, if not "the" best AVN I have played and I played more than at least 100. Everything just fits perfectly. The story, the characters, musics, renders, animations etc. There is barely any competition for this one. And the last update just showed again how high the quality altogether is and you cannot expect this from other games. If you are not into some extreme kinks, there shouldn't be any disappointments with this one.

i really want to love this game,but there is just too much going on , the premise is really good, the charters are very well made as well as the animation, but the story is so full of seriosness and goofy part that you get lost. The routes are very hard to navigate, its very easy to lose a love interest by a single dialoge option that you did not realise was a bad choice making the game more of a task to play then to enjoy. Without a guide you wouldn t figure out how to romance everyone which i think its very bad for a game to be so confusing. As i said i really wanted to love this game, i played it once, got mad why random char romance stopped , then tried again only to have to play with the walktrough at all time contemplating every decision. If the game had some in game walktrogh it would have been great making it more comfortable to play. 3/5 Maybe 3rd time will be the charm.

I fully agree that this should be the highest rated game on this site at the time of this review. The story is intriguing enough and the writing, pacing, and characters are all flawless. The H-scenes are simply on another level with the animations, SFX, variety, and dialogue. Anyone who is interested in adult games needs to check this one out.

What I love most is how the world of Eternum always feels fresh. Each jump into a new setting hits with its own mood, and the writing keeps you curious without trying too hard. The humor lands, the tension feels real, and the pacing makes it hard to stop playing. Holy damn, this game is perfect. I mean it raises the bar for every visual novel I will ever play/read after this. The dialogues, characters, graphics, set pieces, backgrounds, music and god damn the story. Damn the fucking story... it has everything even heists. This game does not feel like you play some smut with skippable dialogue, no it does feel like you play a well-written book. Even *the* scenes feel natural and not punched in. But I guess nothing I can say describes this masterpiece to an extend it deserves. So thank you. Just thank you for making this game. I do not have any money to support this project so I hope a thank you is enough.

I only played a few AVN's. And by far, this one is my favorite. The story, visuals, characters (their design, development), music, everything was on point and perfect. Excited to see how the story unfolds. Will be waiting for the next update.

For many years now this game had escaped my grasp I and stumbled upon it by chance. I completed my 1st playthrough and immediately wanted to replay it. It has now become my G.O.A.T and a new standard. The story is pristine, the animation out of this world, the characters and their development was so good that you truly fall in love with each girl an I'm not talking just for the sex. The only thing I'm regretting is not playing it earlier. I think Michael’s recommendation letter for Dwight (from the Office) describes perfectly this game: " The dictionary defines superlative as ‘of the highest kind, quality, or order; surpassing all else or others; supreme.’ I define it as Eternum. The game design, story, animation, character development, music and humor is of the highest kind, quality, and order, supreme ". Some might think I'm overreacting but I'm not. To me, it was just this good and the first game that truly made me say I want to subscribe and support the developer. Can't wait for the next updates!

Eternum is THE gold standard. I compare every other nsfw VN to it. More consistently well written than the majority of media being released these days, and some nicely crafted renders to boot. Every main character feels equally well-loved by the author, caribidis, and I often find myself thinking about the plot and characters of this game in my daily life. Suffice to say, this adult game has earned its place alongside regular games for me. I only wish it was finished!

Genuinely great game and very enjoyable, with beautiful renders and animations. The wait between updates is long but worth it every time, since they are just so good you can easily see why this is such a beloved game.

I think it's not understatement to call it one of the best games out here, if not the the best. Great plot, lots of funny jokes, mix of different gaming gens and pop cultural references which also translates to fantastic renders, amazing girls, super sexy cosplay outfits for them, and much much more. Shame to even think it will one day end

I never thought of leaving a review on anything here (nor will i probably never will again ) But this game is a true masterpiece. The character's stories are just fantastic and they all feel different from eachother (which is hard to find here tbh), the music, all the realms are great with the art standing out, the sex scenes are just insanly detailed and well thought out (the harem path is a grind but worth it), the humor also. it's long and beautifully written with some actual heart tearing moments. It's just the whole package and a MUST PLAY The "only" thing i have a nitpic about (and i say "only" bc it would make this a true generational master class once in a century AAA game) is how linear it is. I would love to explore these realms more/more of a sandbox but again, thats not what this game is and wants to be. It's characters and story first and you can't really have both with these reasources i get it.

As many said ... came for the fap, stayed for the story. I'm not a huge fan of 3D story but this one is really outstanding. In particular, the humor with a deep and well done story. Only drawback is that it feels a little too linear most of the times.

The game has set the standard for me. The character development is really good - it gets a point where the reader actually cares about the women in his life and would burn everything to ash to protect them. The sex scenes are really well done and the music, the muuuuuusic is so good

Might possibly be my favorite H game, and not just because of the scenes, but because of the characters as well. All of them have distinct personalities and their own personal arcs that develop over time, which keeps things interesting and has me hooked to see what happens next and make choices. I love the whole cast, and I’m always waiting for updates. The game is wholesome and sexy, and it pulls off that balance really well.

I don't even know what makes me rate games, been playing this for years by now, yet haven't given a rating until now. Uh so yeah, this is incredible. 2nd outing by the dev with the amazing Once In a lifetime as the first. This is an easy 5/5, 10/10 or 100/100 full marks experience. The models are hot, LI's are fantastic, one of the few VNs to actually make me laugh. The tone is generally pretty light, and it is a Harem game much Like Once in a lifetime where the girls never really mind that they share the MC, but honestly that is hardly a complaint for an AVN, especially one where the characters are as great as this one. Propably gonna be one of those that never leave my top 3, so i can't recommend people to try it out enough.

Absolutely love this, character design, animations, music, plot, everything is top notch for an AVN. Also great humor, I never laugh at an AVN, but this shit makes me giggle. Definitely my favorite so far.

Its, just too good to be true. Blown away by story and animations. Just start playing. This is one of those games where you start playing for your dick but end up playing for your heart. Of course its still has amazing H-scenes and animations but the humor and story are top notch.

Okay, finished the run 1) Luna is so fucking precious omfg. But i do now understand all the Annie banners, she's a very very close second, better in some ways. 2) The story is so good, I find myself wanting to skip the porn scenes for the story, luckily they're all so well made that i endured 3) what the fuck is that soundtrack, best i've seen in a VN, gotta update my sex playlist 4) Realistically, finding reasons to support a harem is hard, especially when they're so interconnected before hand, however it seems relatively plausible 5) excellent humor Downsides - don't really detract, but personally i can't give it a 12/10 1) Biggest downside is that it is VERY VERY vanilla. With how each girl has their own little quirks, there are plenty of fetishes that could've been integrated satisfactorily. 2) Well, the MC is kinda..idk, he shouldn't be able to pull them, but i don't really care about him because i try to self insert. It could be worse 3) I also wish he had a less ginormous dick, never understood why people need to make dicks so absurdly big

This is a very good game. Not quite great, but it's very close. I'll get into my gripes a little further down, but first a few observations. One of my favorite things in these games is when a British author writes American high school girls and they all talk like Brits. It's very funny. This VN isn't as guilty of that as some, but it's still there. Also an American city where it rains all the time and has a very British sounding name is pretty good stuff too. Write what you know, I guess. The girls all look great and for as much as this game wants to pigeonhole them into Stereotypical Anime Girl #2, sometimes some actual personality shines through, and that's when the game is at it's best. In spite of how paper thin the characters are, you find yourself rooting for Dalia in her gym competition. Whether that's earned through the writing or a byproduct of Stockholm Syndrome from spending so much time with the characters is best left up to each individual player. The writing is, for the most part, just kind of there. I skip LARGE swaths of stuff and never feel like I'm missing anything important. Lot's of bloviating by the MC that adds nothing to the game. A good writer to study for anyone wanting to try their hand at the craft is Cormac McCarthy and how economical he is with his words. No, I'm not expecting a person writing a porno game to churn out Pulitzer winning material, I do think the writing in this game could stand to trust it's audience a little more. Show, don't tell. This is a visual medium. We don't need to read every thought that goes through the MCs head. There's a reason modern comic books stopped doing thought bubbles. Which brings us to the MC. Totally unlikeable. I HATE spending time with this guy. Oh wow. A honk-off game MC that likes anime?? Very original. I get the draw of an author surrogate in a game like this, but it's very off-putting. Plus, this guy talks more during sex than I do in an entire average day, and I'm paid to talk to people! Ever watch a porno movie where the guy talks too much? Yeah, me either because it's a deal breaker. Let the girls handle the dirty talk. But I realize that this is matter of preference so I'll chalk that up as a case of "we all like different things." And the model just looks bad. I realize that this is mostly a fault of Honey Select, but the idea of a bunch of the most gorgeous women alive falling for the most nondescript man with a penis that looks like it was subject to some sort of radioactive tests is laughable. As far as the story goes, it's not bad. Starts strong but then disappears completely up it's own ass. A tale as old as time when it comes to these games. That said, it never gets bad. Well worth a shot, despite it's many flaws and it truly earns it's place as a shining example of what the genre can do, due largely to it's stunning LI models, a story that makes sense and a readable, if bloated, script.
