In a conflict between the races, a group of brave warriors supported by the gods purge a dark race of demons from existence. But due to the mercy of one warrior, one demon child is spared as she decides not only to spare him, but also to take him with her and raise him. A few years later, the incubus grows into an adult and wishes to set off in an adventure. Note: The Developer changed. "Flynn" stopped developing but "IP Studios" took over.

Season 2 - Chapter 3b
Autoplay no longer crashes the game
Animations actually work
Loads from the end of chapter 2 actually load into the correct place rather than sending you to the beginning of season 2
Music and sound coming through the correct channels and not looping over and over again for no reason
Spelling/grammatical errors fixed

Glowing stomach and incubus mark in sex scenes
MC's dick size
Colour of MC's blood
Season 2 - Chapter 3a
t's finally here! Season 2 Chapter 3 is here and ready for you to play. It is a little shorter than you may have anticipated, but this is so we can set up to bring you bigger and better updates in the future.
2 lewd scenes featuring both familiar faces and a few teased characters from previous chapters. Special highlight: A certain dopplegänger appears for the first time! Since this is our first time developing her scenes, it might feel a bit different from Flynn’s signature style — but we’re confident you’ll love it.
- ️ 1250+ renders*

-Added about 4800 lines of code and dialogue.
-New suspect screen. (Equivalent to the chapter lore screen from chapter 4, but cooler if you ask me.)
-Tried to make the game more fluent, since some pointed out how the flow of events kept being interrupted in previous chapters.
-The gallery is now save-independent. If loading a save from the end of chapter 4, reach chapter 5 to unlock it.
-Did a shitload of organising all over the project, which took hours and hours. It won't have significance on the gameplay (there is even a chance it'll cause bugs
), I just want to give myself a pat on the back.
-Added VN mode for the trial in chapter 4 (optional), this removes the sandbox-like gameplay, many people didn't like it and some got stuck in it, apparently... I think I'll keep putting this option in similar sections in the future.
v0.4b
Fixed typos. Got plenty of help doing it. So, thanks!
-Fixed a bug in chapter in the trial.
-Fixed some text errors in a few images pointed out by those who played the game.

-3 new animated 'good stuff' scenes.
-Added a shitload of code lines.
-Added a chapter lore screen (can be accessed through the stats screen).
-I think the chapters are gonna have a chapter lore screen from now on, especially if I feel like the story could be a bit confusing.
-Made the game images and script into archives. I thought it was better like this, but if it gets in the way of compressing the game or causes bugs for anyone, let me know. I won't do it next time.
-Fixed some typos in previous chapters which I happened upon while writing chapter 4.
v0.3a
-Added about 900 images but I don't think this chapter is shorter than the last one.
-Added 25 videos making up 5 animated scenes. I also figured out a way to make real videos, so the animations should be much better than in 0.2.
-The animations in this update have buttons to control them (advance and change view).
-Updated the character stats screen heavily, which was a nightmare to program again. But it's worth it since it looks cooler.
-Added a gallery which can be accessed from the stats screen.
-The stats button glows when stats change, which I thought was cool, I guess.
-Each new release will be a chapter from now on, with a title and everything.
v0.2a
-Added about 1000 images and a shitload of dialogue lines. So, about twice as much content as there was in 0.1 basically.
-Added a few scenarios where there are choices with consequences, but I'm not much of a coder. So, there will probably be bugs...
-Added a character stats screen, which was a nightmare to program and is probably buggy to a degree...
-You can now name the MC if you'd like.
-Added some animations, I'm not sure if they came out good... So, if anyone has feedback, especially some advice to animate better, it'd be welcome.
-Used a different image format. So, the game is considerably smaller.
v0.1
First release
Version Season 1 Ch. 12a Considering Stray Incubus has a 4+ rating in both F95 and GSL (especially the latter which tends to be far more stringent in ratings), the overall experience was above average but somewhat disappointing. This review is based solely on Season 1 i.e. I cannot comment on the supposed quality degradation after the new developer took over. Story The gist of the story is straight forward - You play an incubus who was raised by a human after your race was annihilated under the order of the Olympian gods. This is basically an adventure story whereby MC joins a ninja village, takes up quests, solves various supernatural mysteries and of course, fucks around aplenty along the way. However the whole setup is brought down by an incoherent universe which isn't harmonized. Incubus is a giant cauldron of fantasy elements plucked from Greek mythology, European medieval folktales and oriental mysticism. In terms of the level of civilization, the game is an all-in-one ancient Greece, Japanese historical period, European medieval, Victorian era and modern times complete with electricity and household appliances jammed together. The story doesn't bother to address any of these inconsistencies and just assembles them together by moving along as if it is all part of growing up for a guy who has spent his life living in a cave to walk into a fully furnished modern room with nary a care. That being said, credit must be given to the developer for good story writing when it comes to the adventure, mystery and supernatural side of things. Each of the quests (usually one story arc) is highly immersive with plenty of unexpected plot twists, jump scares and emotional moments. Game Mechanic Visual novel with some choices that are mainly for rejecting LIs you don't wish to purse. There is the occasional free roaming which you can skip in VN mode if it's not your cup of tea. Background / Character Renders Pretty basic HS2 renders as far as Season 1 is concerned, not sure if things get better later. Many of the backgrounds don't sit well with one another, but this is due to the jumbled up story world rather than a render problem. As for the LIs, there's a wide variety of them and most are pleasant though somewhat cookie cutter basic when it comes to details and texture. Character Development The effort is commendable, but characters remain limited in depth due to too large a cast. There are 24 LIs as of Season 1 and simply insufficient time to spread around. Six to seven girls are allocated more screen time, but it's still quite light at the end of the day. MC is all rounder and there are a few moments where we experience more character complexity through his inner struggles juggling between his demonic nature and desire to protect the ladies. Many comedic moments between the characters add a good touch to what is otherwise an intense and serious adventure story. Sex Scenes Standard HS2 setup with gradual improvements in the later chapters. Most of the poses and camera angles can be seen in many other HS2 games and there are still traces of generic HS2 limitations like clipping, lack of genital details and unnatural limb movements during animations. All in I would say the quantity is passable but hardly impressive quality wise. It is what you would expect of a competently done up scene in older HS2 games without sound effects. BGM and Sound Effects Varied BGMs that complement the story well and quite a bit of sound effects during mystery exploration and jump scares to enhance the mood. Conclusion Barring the inconsistent and rough edges resulting from the mish mesh of different elements, Incubus remains a relatively well done fantasy adventure visual novel with an interesting plot that is well-expressed through a nice combination of interesting characters, natural dialogue and good usage of sound. It falls slightly short of my expectations due to all the rough edges in story building and somewhat mediocre sex scenes. Overall it's more in the mid to high 3s rating IMO.
I mean The renders might suck So do the angles So do the pacing But its yet very interesting The scenes are fine The intro was very fine Apart from the 3rd chaptet of s1, which started the BORING & Rushed to sex PACE.
Elves! Genuinely interesting story to follow and characters to explore. I've only played the first season so far and look forward to the full game. The only SLIGHT gripe I have with this game is that the MC is slightly uninteresting to me, but that's okay as the other characters are so well written that honestly I don't really care at all. Oh and did I mention the elves? EDIT* So i've finished what's come out for season 2 so far (chapter 3) and you can notice the difference in quality. Please change the blood back to gold, this simply will not do. The redesigns are okay, some are good some are worse. I prefer the old designs but it's not as much as a deal breaker. This being said I'm sure it's not easy taking on a project midway through and I really appreciate the dev doing so as opposed to this project being abandoned. I'm keeping my rating of 5 stars and giving the dev some grace, hoping you do well because you have some pretty big shoes to fill! Will continue to follow, still love this one!
Really good game, left a strong overall impression. The story is one of its biggest strengths, slowly pulling you in and keeping you interested with each new mission. The pacing feels right, and the way the plot unfolds makes you curious to see what comes next. The renders are well done and visually appealing. Environments look polished, and the character designs stand out. The characters have clear, well-defined personalities, which makes them feel alive instead of shallow. The girls are especially memorable, cute, charming, and each with a distinct personality that adds variety and depth to the experience. The missions are enjoyable and don’t feel repetitive. I really liked how they connect naturally to the story rather than feeling like filler. The jump scares that appear after certain story moments were unexpected and effective, adding tension and excitement without being overused. They genuinely caught me off guard and made those scenes more memorable. Overall, this game does a great job combining story, atmosphere, and characters into an engaging experience. It has strong potential, and the quality already shows a lot of care from the developer. Future updates will excite.
Many games feature sexually explicit animations, pretty girls, and other content. However, what I really liked about this game was its striking, dramatic, and tragic story that progressed well. Unfortunately, the new game developer seems to have changed the main character's behavior and personality. The new developer doesn't have a good story to tell. When I played the latest update, it was like watching a simple cartoon on TV where everything was innocent and sweet, and the events didn't make you think at all. Hopefully future updates will include a storyline that aligns with Season 1's narrative and the main character's personality and behavior, because I think the game is fantastic.
So, having played it in full now (as for S2 ch3b), I see what the fuss is about. The game fits quite well into my preference within fantasy so as wonky as it can get sometimes, the story is compelling enough to not skip it. Scenes are great, especially later on, although I can get why people mention the dip in quality. I do not understand the point about characters looking worse though. To me they look overall quite similar. Give the new devs time. Reducing the amount of animations hurts the game, for sure, but I think with time things could still get back on track. After all, looking back, the first 4 chapters of the game were also somewhat rough. I'm still holding out hope for this game. So long as the new devs don't get lazy, the game could remain great. Also just as a sidenote for the devs, I feel like one of the main issues the new animations have is camera shake, as well as them being way too fast. Might just be me though.
I've only played through Season 1, but I wanted to share my initial impressions. One of the main issues I found was the overwhelming number of characters introduced right from the start. If you plan to introduce many characters, that's fine, but please do so at a slower and more gradual pace. Now it becomes difficult to genuinely connect with or care about any of them when there are so many, and each one doesn't seem to have enough care or meaning. I firmly believe in the principle of quality over quantity, and in this case, the character introductions felt a bit dull and superficial. Additionally, the storyline feels somewhat chaotic and scattered. It jumps around unpredictably, making it hard to follow at times, and the pacing can feel quite abrupt. Some dialogue lines also come across as a bit immature or poorly written, which detracts from the overall immersion. That said.. I still rate it 3 stars because of its bold attempt at telling a highly original and unique story. That effort deserves recognition, and it's clear that a lot of work went into this game. Whenever I see genuine dedication behind a project, I can’t rate it lower than 3 stars.
......I don't know what to say.... The point where devs changed is very noticeable in every possible way. Character models look worse, there's much less animations, fight choreography sucks, music never changes, the one sex scene barely has animations with 0 build up. Noticeably worse in every way, it might as well be abandoned
I'm in pain. OG dev, mad respect - cg/animation, great - writing, fantastic, at least compared to the shitshow I'm witnessing now. Honestly it's absolutely wild how a dev change can result in such a degradation in writing quality. The script reminds me of how I'd tell a story to myself as a proof reading before actually publishing to anyone - some shit that wouldn't even get past the first draft and it's been published as canon. Look, if we're being real - it's a porn game - who gives a fuck - but damn, you really took one of the most promising projects on the site and converted it into a steaming pile of shit. New devs, i know you're reading this, i know it's not easy, but you can't blame me for the criticism - when I found out the game was being abandoned, I was devastated -finding out others were taking over, I was cautiously optimistic. Let me tell you, there was nothing to be optimistic about, new players play till the point flynn was working on the game then give up and just dream about what happens next because it's likely your rem stage is a better storyteller than the current devs holy shit. Please find or hire a dedicated writer because you guys clearly aren't up to the task.....
Someone already said what is wrong with the latest content/dev switch, so I'll try to keep my gripe short. Quality has plummeted, and the content is nonexistent, especially with the 7 months IP had it for. You can tell when the switch was made. And it made seeing the difference all the more clear. There are no more animations; it's now just a slideshow. Not to mention, feels like they traded character detail with saturated lighting to compensate or something. The quality just isn't the same. I'll gladly change my mind if they go back and polish up. But my hot take is if this is how it's going to be moving forward, then it might as well be abandoned. Especially since they stated they plan to rework some of the previous season. That sounds like cutting content and downgrading to me.
Old dev's substantial content: low 5 stars New devs' content (after the first dev abandoned the project): 1 star The new devs have basically shown they have what it takes (in terms of quality renders) to keep this at a 4 or 5 star level if they so choose, but their first "effort" was extremely poor. If they simply took time to visually illustrate what's alledgedly happening (combat/sex/other), this could still be fantastic, but they couldn't be bothered to create necessary renders or animations. We've got non-existent fights, non-existent blowjobs, non-existent lapdances, non-existent kisses, non-existent sex, couples undressing each other without ever approaching each other... Sometimes, they illustrated 10% of what was necessary, but other times it was 0%. On at least one occassion, they tried to play the non-existent scene off as a joke (one-sided sparring match ending before it began), but it wasn't funny, and it only became less funny over time as it became obvious they simply weren't going to illustrate much of anything. This lack of illustration is nearly all-encompassing. You don't show a man and woman in an amorous embrace in a pool immediately followed by a render of her standing well outside the pool telling him goodbye. You show her pulling away from him. You show her getting out of the pool. But no, they just don't want to do any work. I do get that, as new devs just learning the ropes, it might take them a long time to create visual content. My suggestion would be to create proper scenes and update less often. If it takes them five years between updates, so be it, but don't do this horseshit where you simply refuse to illustrate the action. If they choose to do this properly next time, I will adjust my rating accordingly. Lesser problems: Spoiler: * bad writing * At this point in the story, MC's confidence should be sky-high as a warrior, lover, and more. Still, he loses all confidence with a girl he has *already banged.* Later, he turns into a total simp when meeting a princess, endlessly calling her by her title even after she demands he stop calling her "princess" and start using her name. * When a dude casually commands his fiancee to give another man a blowjob, *she* repeatedly tries to convince *him*, the one instructing her to do it, not to stress out about it. * Melodramatic music is repeatedly miscategorized as something other than "music," so you have to turn off "sound" if you don't like it. It may be best to keep it off. I turned it back on to hear kissing sounds when two people's faces were a good distance away from each other. * If you load an old save, the old dev's content will not unlock in the gallery. As to the old dev, he was basically the opposite. All action (combat/sex/other) was thoroughly illustrated and often animated at a high level. He did a nice job combining sex/humor/story/combat. He did have a couple weak points, though: * His knowledge of Greek mythology was terrible, which is very odd since the story revolves very heavily around Greek mythology. For example, he treated "Keres" as both a singular noun and a title, when it is neither. He also portrayed Keres as good and powerful when they were neutral-to-bad but essentially powerless by tradition. * Phenomena such as architecture, furniture, and categories of people (e.g. ninjas) span multiple millennia across the globe. This is not a time travel VN. The dev simply refused to stick to any one coherent setting. He might have come across a lot of art assets that didn't work together well and just decided to have fun by making it as incoherent as possible.
I played for about 50 minutes the first season. This may be the worst VN in F95. Let's be real, this is not a "sex game" and that's ok, my rating is not over this. The models are beatiful and pleasing to look at. The writing and dialogs are... bad, above average for sex games, but still pretty bad. For 50 minutes there's no sex scenes, but the girls are pretty, the writing is passable... but... There's no objective, no goal, things just happen, disconnected, feels surreal even. Girls are assholes to MC for no reason, so he can feel righteous, but trully MC is a pussy that does nothing and everything that happens happens to him and never by him. - That's my review, below only a rant - When I came to review I saw the 'abandoned' tag, and kinda the universe fell in place, I'm amazed this went on for so long, how do you create a "game" about nothing for all this time? People, this should be a sex game about an incubus having lots of sex all the time, right? How could you fuck up so bad? Four and a half stars in over 160 reviews? My god! This is zero stars 100% sure.
One of my favorite VNs. I can't believe this gem is got abandoned!!! Good thing some other team took it. Lets see how it goes. But still, in current stage, this game has plenty of contents and with each chapter, it gets better and better and hotter and hotter. And I rarely find scenes hot! And not to forget the immersion and the depth in the characters and the story. If this had no sex, I would still enjoyed the story and character(even though the sex makes it multiple times better and more immersive(realistic) to me.) Would give it a 4.6 but that's not possible. So, 5 it is.
Brilliant game. Really loved every bit of it till season 2. Its sad to see it being abandoned now, since it felt like a real gem to me when I first found it and played it. Would have loved to know how the story goes, maybe one day the dev will come back and continue his work. But for now this game will remain as one of the few gems that I really enjoyed in a long time. Thanks for making the game
Stray Incubus is a long visual novel made by Flynn, now abandoned during the development of chapter two. It’s said that a new pair of devs picked up the project and are yet to show any progress. The story is about a young incubus, unique of his race, with unique powers, and unique past, living in a land of ninjas, monsters, and greek gods. Protagonist decides to train and be able to fight the perils of this strange and wonky world alongside many pretty girls and the obvious follows. Besides the visual novel aspects, the game also has a relationship counter that rises with certain choices and will unlock scenes with the girls around you. This mechanic isn’t deeply explored, seemingly almost pointless since you can not miss on points throughout the game. The story ranges from mysticism, horror, and bits of comedy and levity, making it a little confusing to what the heart of the writing is about. It's a very chaotic and overall messy story with many elements being dropped and never being relevant again. The mixing of ninjas and greek mythology certainly does not fit properly, and the weird missions and sideline quests they go for thousands of panels instead of a more centered story hurts the pacing immensely. On top of that, the player is overwhelmed by random visions, nightmares, mysticalisms, dreams, illusions, and every other exposition trope known. Using the Honey Select engine, Flynn created a diverse set of beautiful models, varying in size, body type, and color, while utilizing all available tools, all of them specialized on being cute or being hot. The scenes are also very well done, with good camera panels and different angles allowing you to absorb the scene in its totality. The engine is still limited for certain animations, seemingly flimsy and peppered with clipping. Flynn decided to develop his game focused on quantity instead of quality. The game presents sixteen romanceable girls with multiple stats to grow and a bunch of random encounters in between. Obviously, as in with every other visual game that does this, all the characters lack development. When there are too many girls in a visual novel, you can expect most of them to be sidelined without reason, to be forgotten, and to all of them feel like they don’t have enough scenes with the protagonist. Even if Flynn had reduced to half the total, it would still be an enormous work to develop them. This necessity for overwork after the frame is already established usually ends up in the developer burning out and abandoning the project, Stray Incubus being another example. If the developer had focused more on a few characters with deeper dialogue and a single, cohesive story instead of trying to cover multiple genres and quests, Stray Incubus would have been a significantly better visual novel and Flynn wouldn’t have faced such an exhausting task.
Reviewing as of completing chapter one. Stray Incubus has a good amount of diverse writing within. It balances story, humor, and lustful scenes pretty well. The animations are pretty good quality, and the models while looking similar to each other are at the very least, high quality. Can't really fault the protagonist of the game for having magic penis syndrome because it's kinda built in biologically. (See, INCUBUS) Additionally, I'd like to mention that all the girls do have a sense of uniqueness. The girls feel like individual personalities, and not just a model with a stereotype. The game doesn't take itself too seriously, and it's a fun romp. I've enjoyed the story so far. There are some horror elements to it, and some jump scares which I did not expect in a smut game. The only reason it isn't a 5 star game is because I feel like there's still a roughness to the game. There are some moments where the game cuts from one scene to another seemingly mid-scene that's a little jarring. In the beginning the cutaway vignettes are a little too close together, breaking immersion. (Also, tiny gripe, but it's hard to take a character named Candy seriously. There are some great names in the game, but there are a few strange choices as well. Tl;dr- It's a fun game, with power-fantasy aspects. Good models, great animations. Needs some polish but far above average. Don't know what's happened between the dev('s?) but I hope nothing but the best for all involved. It's a good game, and it's got potential.
This is one of those games where it starts off pretty crappy but you can see the developer improve drastically the further you play as the writing and renders get better with each update. The story revolves around an incubus being raised by an Olympian warrior after his race was massacred. After being sheltered all his life, he randomly decides to be a ninja in the ninja village and pretty much the story follows his adventures in getting to know other women and his true upbringing and becoming more powerful. The author is pretty good at making horror themed chapters. There's a good variety of women and good sex scenes. A lot of the story beats are stereotypical anime plot writing. The design of the women also changes throughout the game too. In season 2, the story starts feeling rushed. Overall, it's a nice romp and worth a play.
Just heard this is being abandoned. Very sad to hear. This one hurts. The game is amazing! Good plot, decent mini games, great humor, good variety of characters and sex scenes, and nive world building. This seriously was one of the best VNs out there. Seriously hope the dev either changes his mind, of someone else picks it up at some point. This game is way to good to die!
Google Translate: The game is great, you can see the love that went into the creation of the characters and the story with its humorous and dark nuances, and you can't compare what I know about the creator; he did it for the love of art as the last vestige of life.
A great game and a great VN. I have been following it since day 1. Good writing, great models and animations and a very interesting story. The dev has been doing a really good job so far, can't wait to see future updates.
