Distortium

This looks pretty good, but the dev seems to be rushing a bit with the relationships. I understand that some feel the need to put out the lewd content as soon as possible to capture an audience, but sometimes this risks alienating the relationships between the characters. A bit more teasing goes a long way in the beginning instead of jumping straight to the action.

A half-parody of Eternum, in the early stages. Shows promise but has some early possible missteps in plotting. Would probably rate a 4/5 in all honesty, but deserves a 5 given F95 standards (substantially better than most other 4-star games). Spoiler: Details Why it's like Eternum: you have a stepmom and stepsister, you're inexplicably whisked by a white-haired AI girl into an alternate dimension, and tasked with a mysterious quest, and bang a lot of girls (eventually, probably). How it's parodying Eternum: The AI girl isn't just mysterious, she hates her job, is actively disdainful of the MC, and calls him stupid. There's also a lot more silliness to the simulations, such as the MC using the separating thumb trick to win hearts and battles. How this game doesn't measure up to Eternum: In Eternum, we learn about the girls IRL and we enter Eternum with them. In Distortium, we meet alternate versions of the girls who don't seem to remember us. Which is fine, as a plot difference, but Distortium has us spend little time IRL before throwing us into the first alternate reality for a good long time. Thus we only know a few of the girls much at all, with most attention spent on Claire, our stepsister. But in the alternate reality, we spend most of our time with Ruby, a girl who is barely introduced and who we barely know IRL. So we care about IRL Claire and AR1 Ruby, but we only get any action with AR1 Ruby. Almost all the other girls have just been barely introduced IRL, so when we meet them again in AR1, they're not very interesting or compelling. It's not clear that anything we learn about them in AR1 or any relations we forge in AR1 will carry over back into IRL. Another of Eternum's strengths is the interaction between the girls., which fleshes them out as fully-fledged characters, and gives them chances to display their personalities. Distortium hasn't done much of this, but worse, it's structurally unable to do it, because we're stuck in the alternate reality for so long and it's not clear that the alternate versions are anything like their RL versions. All the details aside, this game is still in its early stages. It's still unclear how the dev intends for the game's main reality and alternate realities to play out. They may have workarounds intended to some of the issues brought up above. Comparing this game to Eternum, one of the most popular and loved games on this side, is both unfair and a compliment. If the dev manages to address some of the issues mentioned in this review, which they have plenty of opportunity to and may already plan to, this game may stand as an equal. Especially if the female characters all get fleshed out as delightfully as Claire has been so far.

The game start well, the story itself is nothing original but it do the job, some kind of isekai who seem to mirror the people from mc world, but without their memories , just that the mc got there out of nowhere over pushing a button on the screen of one of the girls phone. Characters are mostly ok, but is it to much to ask for an mc that isnt a pervert? Because it quickly become a festival in that regard, peeping on his mother in the shower, mentaly undressing the girl in the club, groping his mother ass out of the blue, undressing his sister in her sleep. (at least it's avoidable) The construction of the relationship with the girls Spoiler It doesnt look that great either, it's one of those game were all the girls are in love with the mc from the start and ready to spread their legs without him having to do anything at all. (and it's like that with every girl) I could have understood it for Clara because they grew up together, but Jane (the mother) is drooling and throwing herself at mc's dick the first chance she get because she miss a dick for too long. Similar trope is used with one of the other girls who's supposed to be an li later, "please i'm a lonely lady, give me your dick" just after meeting her (and even though she is married ...) Another weird girl called Sophia who's the girflriend of the school bulies start becoming obsessed with mc for no reason and acting like they are together , then stalk him to a clothes store before giving him a deepthroat that you cant refuse, and then claiming that it's her first time doing that and being a virgin... (it's avoidable only if you reject Clara offer to go shoping with her) On the technical aspect Spoiler the path of somes of the girls can be ended very quickly over the most random "bad" choice for some reason, when others like Sophia are completly forced on us without any chance to reject her. Mina, the girl with glass : if you mention that she isnt good at talking to people, in most game maybe you would lose point,here it end her path just like that (and by ending path it's literaly that, it desactivate the variable for the girl) Same for Clara, if you leave in the cabin of the clothes store it's also end her path just like that. Weirdly enough, most love interest seem to have their counterpart in the isekai world with separate stats and are treated like different character. It's something i've already seen in other games, but at least they werent identical and had different personnalities due to the world they were living in,which was making them somewhat unique despite them being the same person, unlike in this game were they are exactly like their alternative version despite having different background. And based on what is said by the ai girl, it look like it will be repetitive in that regard with at least 5 world with each time an alternative version of the 8 main girl in a different world without any memories ( even if it's shown that they feel like they know the mc somehow so i suppose that at some point they will be like the original with all their memories but it's just speculation here)

This is masterpiece! New born. It's like a Eternal renpy game where the character got something involved with fantasy. but you have to play it yourself. Great graphics. Easy to understand context. And Very Attractive Character, i can't choose who to bemy wife. So i will choose every choice, different save to all of them. Must Try!!

really great renders just from what i've seen so far! looking forward tyo more of this in the near future hopefully! the animations are also minimal but great from what i've witnessed and there's definitely potential here.

Review made for 0.1.0 Well, let's start with pros first -Graphics are higher than average -A lot of beautiful girls -Writing is fine Neutral: -Sex animations are ok at best -No gallery -Simple gui Story and plot... Well... I feel like it couldn't take more cliches from other avns and anime. It literally copies the setting,plot and even the exact scenes from one of the most popular avns I can't name here. So far, nothing was explained and you don't understand anything. Regarding relationships, seems like it will turn into a fuckfest really soon. Pace is pretty rushed, I mean, I usually don't mind it, but here, it goes really too fast. You had 3 sex scenes between like 300 renders In the end, I hope the dev will turn it into a comedy instead of trying making it a serious story. It might be really promising if you want to play something for chilling out

Distortium [v0.1.0] Yep! Good shit! Nice looking models, decent and enjoyable enough story so far, good and ~cohesive (even tho amatuer and "cliche-ish") writing with few orthographic and other little mistakes (nothing much, among of what I spotted), sympathetic girls, kinky and hot situations. Everything is good (few questionable moments, but I'll let it slide), but it's just prologue. It's only started, so it is quite short for now, only 1 release. But I'll be optimistic for once. You really should check this one out. Oh, and don't forget too follow/support dev, if you liked it. (ofc, if your IRL situation lets you)

Good start for a project, solid LIs, can say the models do look good and seem to be interesting characters. Game starts well enough with the usual start of school year and advances the plot to a different direction right from the beginning. The MC looks competent enough and isn't a pushover. Hoping to see more from this in the future
