Divine Arms is a tale of celestial personas. Their universe formed when the Stellar Titans Ribolg and Maelia had an epic sexual encounter. Their sweat formed ice and comets. Their moans produced black holes and radiation. Each clash from their heavenly bodies created super clusters. After billions of light-years of endless intercourse, their climatic big bang basically gave birth to their universe, Maribolgka. The event also spawned an infinite number of celestial beings. And these entities have been at constant war with each other. In the infinite factions, we center the story of Divine Arms to a certain celestial clan known as the Featheration . ...stupid name, huh? Bear with me. It's part of the story. The Featheration is a race of winged celestials. We can reference them to angels and they have recently created the Marionette Drive . The Marionette Drive is a special Divine Armament that functions like a remote control. And in the many pages of the multiverse, ours is the closest to Maribolgka. The chosen puppeteer is you, on Earth, and basically, the Marionette Drive is your mouse and keyboard. You get to control an aspiring Celestial Diviner named Sigil Aetherwink . v2.46 N/A v2.35 Animations. I've done a couple of tests and will finalize the style this month. Aside from other sprite animations like Siggy getting armor recovery, I'm pretty much done with the tech demo and will focus the next months doing the spicy animations. Again, no Chris Armin quality. In fact, to be honest I'm leaning towards good enough and quick because, again, I still have to do the code, add them in etc etc. I'll once again finish a loop this week and I'll let you decide if it's good or more than enough. I need to get to a certain style and flow that matches the development in general. If I do it too much, I notice I get burned out easily and when I come back to coding, I sometimes forget my game logic, so again, a balance to overall game development and visuals. Game State Right now, v2.35 you will notice a lot of changes and new stuff. But basically, SIGGY IS OP with the new update. But know that not all of the things are available at the start. Most of the skills and spells in the current build need to be unlocked and upgraded. But yeah, pretty much the same enemy object (Mushroom Monster) basics like ai will host the upcoming enemies and some of the sprites are already in the works as well. I'm telling you. Never go one man army unless you're mad and old like me. Stages Ooof! You're probably sick of the current area. That's also another thing I still need to do. Luckily, we've already got the code there ready from v1.9 (The Silver hair MC) And yeah, it will be easily designed and populated with trees, traps and secrets soon! I'm just holding off a bit because the new tilemap system will be updated in Godot 4.3 so I'm not focusing much on the stages because I know Godot will break my tiles and I want to fix those after they bring it to my plate. v1.96b waterfx optimized. gate grind loop sfx fix. tutotem adjustments. field heart pickups fix. controlled enemies are faster. v1.90fixed Blood Hunter bugfix I've also disabled the speed up animation frames that occur randomly. They do look weird on some scenes. I'll bring it back on selected scenes next time.

The graphics and animations are a 10/10, but the gameplay is way too hard. I gave it my all and couldn't even reach the halfway point before quitting in frustration. I'm not here for tedious mini-games.

The game is still in development so the review is about the v2.88 debug built, the first v2 build bringing Mahalai-Siggy dialogues back The v2 update from Flash to Godot brings native ZQSD support (but not locale-formatted dialogs to match) and the new branch in general has lots of cute animations and more visual polish than the game showcased a decade ago The humor from Mahalai's dialogue is clearly still here, the game only has 2 "common" enemies for now. Difficulty is HARD, as the usual for a Divine Arms debug build. The gallery and saving is not implemented yet, so the only way to enjoy aml the NSFW content for now is to trigger the fight minigames on purpose and learn how to reliably reach the end of the testing track

This game gain its popularity back in the days of its first release mostly because of Casch's good work. Guy is amazing!( suddently announce that will quit, release tons of his works for free but then come back again. Support him!) Other than that, everything is bland as dirt: the gameplay is boring, Each stage is the same but with different enemies. ViperV handle this part. He and Casch parted way shortly after. I've considered this game is dead since then.

I remember I have played this game back when I was a teenager. I think this was one of the first H-games I have played and it was one of my favourites. Glad to see it has not changed over the decade. And by that, I mean there are two new levels, a new spell, and nothing else.

The animator appears to be caschlecook who does amazing work, game should be tagged abandoned surely given how long it's been in "development" for? I liked the very first demo I think years ago but I remember downloading the updated version and being confused on why it was worse than before.

Game is how many years old? is it rly 10 years old at the point? game still has no hgame nsfw content in the game? ver 2.35 is only one map? spells and characters seem cool. i know the artist Casch made some of the best animations ever for this game, and this dev just never got around to actually making the game? looks like the dev has put in a lot of hard work to make a really nice game, but just hasnt finished things.

Divine Arms [v2.35] Review: A short prequel for newcomers who want to try this game in 2024. This game has already been remade 3 times, 10 times have alpha builds, tech demo exetra. SO what we have in 2024 build ? Absolutely nothing. There is currently 1 level and 1 mushroom enemy without sex scene. Also game still don't have any 18+ content (whith one this game have 7 YEARS ago), except for the heroine's clothes being torn after receiving damage. This game right now don't have ANY sex content in game, actually this game still not existing.

This is for v2.35 TLDR: This game went the way of others of its time, which is to say that it will never be completed, it will always have excuses to never be completed, and releases will only come out for the sake of earning that Patreon money. I hate having to leave such a negative review of what used to be such a promising game, but this thing has been in development for so long and seen so many massive changes to the core concepts and gameplay that it hurts to even remember the good old times. Fun fact, this didn't even used to be called Divine Arms, and it used to be a lot more straight forward with the concept and production to the point that it should have been completed years ago. Every excuse under the sun and some under the moon even to explain why the game is not finished yet, or barely even past being started really. The singular legitimate excuse that affected this game's development was Patreon being taken over by religious nutjobs who decided that nobody is allowed to enjoy adult content unless it follows their extremely strict rules (fucking prudes). Every other excuse I have heard of has been exactly that, an excuse. You could say that one of the team members leaving the development of the game would be a valid excuse, but that never would have happened if the game had actually been developed to completion in a reasonable time rather than being "in development" since 2017 (technically even earlier than that) and still not even being out of being called a tech demo (ViperV's own description). The animations and art are top notch, but they have been the singular thing carrying this project for years. The gameplay used to be fun, but now it's just a tiresome slog that feels like a shell of its former self. I have to suggest checking it out at least once because it used to be legendary in quality, but now it is just a disappointment.

Divine arms is textbook example of patreon money grab, game is at least 6 years old every 2 or so years ViperV wakes up and be like "i need money" so what he makes a game gets it to uncompleted tutorial (sometimes called 1st stage) and dumps it into the bin once satisfactory patreon amount is reached. Game was remade at least 3 times from scratch every time reaching the same results and now there is another patch changing nothing except enemy sprite its just 1 room with some enemies that dont do anything and thats all saying that he cant do too much at once because he burns out too fast? yeah over at least 6 years anyone following this game noticed this or is that just another stalling excuse to prolong doing nothing hoping for patreons. at least this time i hope people wont get tricked by this...

I've been a patron of viper for a couple years now, and all I'll say is don't expect anything from the development team. Updates are always few and far and when the final version of 1.96 came out it felt unpolished, the sex loops were a little on the fuzzy end. After that, silence, then not one, but two new projects and two tech demos with a couple rough lewd scenes on the patron. Today I was shown a third tech demo and one lewd scene and a few sprites after months of silence yet again. If it's not the developers health or something with his 7 dogs or the weather or computer theres always a reason for updates and demos to be delayed. The insexsity team offered more content....as well, idk how many times we've heard it was an employee's fault. Today yet again, when we were givin out bi-yearly update on development, a 4th game was teased. Will we see a playable demo with a lewd scene? probably. Will we see a second update? Probably not and we will get a 5th tease at the end of 2020. Anyone who wants to join support this creator, be very, very careful because you shouldn't expect updates or content often at all...

It's more fun to watch the sex scenes on a porn site The game has been in development for years, but the gameplay hasn't gotten better It would be better as a hentai episode. There's no point in "playing" it because it's boring to play but fun to watch.

I think the game is actually pretty interesting and is decent for being a demo. Definitely needs improvements on its game mechanics and a larger variety of h-scenes but other than that it is well animated and good for what it is.

The concept of this game is solid, however its pretty much ruined by the trap mechanics in the game. The absolute main problem this game has in my opinion is how the traps are pretty much forced into the game in the most annoying ways possible. Floor traps are near impossible to see unless you're specifically scanning the ground constantly which ruins the flow of the game because it forces you to go at a snails pace if you want to be careful. The turret traps are frustrating to deal with because the bullet hitboxes are huge and tend to hit you before they even touch you. Not to mention sometimes you'd figure the bullet would go behind you but if it touches your character, even if the shadows arent lined up, you just take a hit. Fire rates tend to be too fast for you to run by straight shooters and auto aim ones have to be dealt with because they tend to be placed in spots that sandwich you between enemies. The fact that they cant be destroyed and only disabled for about 5 seconds really fucking sucks to deal with. The charm mechanic would be way better if it wasnt so needlessly pointless and frustrating, especially when the enemy constantly goes backwards and away from you, just prolonging an already boring game mechanic. You can't even charm them yourself with a skill, you have to find the one single floor trap placed for the sake of the puzzle and kite them over it. Overall the animation is great but the gameplay leaves more to be desired. I wish it relied way way less on getting cheap damage on you by having huge areas without a single trap and suddenly theres a trap hidden behind this tree for literally no reason other than free damage for not knowing its there.
