Initial Release
Day 1 completed Pretty good introduction, 2 scenes with good angles and sex talk, the designs are cute and at the same time so hot, i'm hopes to see more of this game in the future with more monster girls and interactions and of course SEX
I found the game to very fun and enjoyable; I enjoyed the relaxing music and sounds of rained used. Creative way of interaction without making anything complex. Compelling introduction animation and the way the vibe from the female character. Very adorable work I look forward to ch 2.
STORY I am very intrigued with how this game is going to shake out. I have always liked BnBigus' animations, they're hot in a very cute way. Dialogue is very cheesy and awkward moving into the sex but gives it a very relatable and down to earth feel. Laying with a partner for the first time would be awkward and strange especially with someone a completely different species. I like the characterization of the the two protagonists a lot, there is a lot to tell of both their personalities in this short start and they both seem like very fun characters through the journey. The sudden conflict of the ambush was properly intense and establishes how sever the challenges will be to come which is great storytelling. I also REALLY like the cold open of the title drop when dragging Dracanea into the shack in the rain, very cool set piece I was very impressed with. The narrative surrounding the game of a good guy trying to forward the integrations of new species of fantasy creatures with human society is a classic and I like the vibes this on how this one is taking it. GAME The very few things that bother me with this intro is giving a visual novel open to what is primed to be a management sim. Not that it cant have both but i would like to have seen the bones of how the management is planed to be and a taste of how the loop wants to go. Excellent opening aside I'd like confidence that the meat of the product is something i would want to play. Also I hope we get proper menus. Barreling right into the opening cutscene upon boot up was... weird. Even for a short demo I appreciate to have a proper start menu to adjust things like audio and graphics for my experience. Lastly, some homogenized controls. 'Z' to advance the dialogue, then 'E' to pick up interactable, and suddenly mouse button to play the medical treatment mini-game. Not that its very intensive but the game didn't let off the idea of needing to be around my entire key tray for its gameplay. Its a minor nitpick but consolidating interact to being 'Z' and 'X' as the primary interact buttons or even just 'Z' depending on context would be very helpful, 'E' is much more awkward to use without WASD controls. And if mouse controls are a factor click to advance dialogue should probably be an option. Obvious nitpicks are obvious but foundational to comfortability of play so I hope base functions like these get ironed out sooner rather than later cause I really wanna see this game go far.
this cute The concept of a sanctuary for dragons kind of reminds me of How To Train Your Dragon in a way, mostly because your companion is also a dragon. Then again, I like sanctuary/hotel/management type games, so I can't complain too much. The art in this game is nice, the dialogue between both characters is cute and the scenes that there currently are in the game are also well-drawn. It's also not often that indie games of this nature have voice acting, but considering that BnBigus is one of the more popular artists out there, I'm sure they'd have the funds for that. The gameplay is minimal, but it's there, which means there's actually stuff to do! Yay! I do wish there was something else as an example though, even though it's a demo and I'm probably asking too much. The gameplay that is presented (that is to say, your actual input other than Z) is moving left and right to tend to your dragon and it's done in one minute. Everything else is dialogue, making this more akin to a visual novel or an artbook, rather than a management-type game, which...would be kind of a bummer, to be honest. To me, anyways. Overall, I haven't played any other BnBigus games, so I don't know what their cup of tea is, but I am hopeful for this going forward. The groundwork is there - all that's left is to see what type of game this will be.
for a short demo this is really good. Art is great, there's voice acting which i didn't expect, some gameplay aspects are already on display with you walking in and out of the rain for things and fixing dracaena's wing (although a sprint might be nice) and there's 2 whole h scenes with good writing speaking of the writing so far its fun and has already sold me on these 2 characters from the getgo, so i'm going to be looking forward to this updating in the future, and with the premise set i hope we get to see more cool designs like dracaena's for other types of monsters (and i also hope it's not the same slime girl everyone puts in their game)
