About Dread Reborn
Dread Reborn, by DalusDev, is an adult fantasy visual novel made with Ren'Py. You play Dread, who wakes up reborn in another world full of magic, monsters, and unfamiliar dangers. Not knowing how he arrived, he keeps his past private while trying to make the best of his new life. The game combines story-driven exploration with turn-based RPG combat, quests, relationship building, and magic learning as he grows stronger through dangerous encounters. Its presentation uses 3D CG and animated visuals.
The current build for the game is v1.1, released October 23, 2026, and development is ongoing after the initial v1.0 release. It is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac, with English text and no censorship. The changelog records v1.0 as the first release.

Dread Reborn is an adult fantasy visual novel with turn-based RPG combat. Dread finds himself reborn in another world, one filled with magic, monsters, and dangers unlike anything he has ever known. With no idea how he ended up there, he decides to keep what he knows about himself hidden and make the most of his new life. As he settles into this unfamiliar world, Dread begins forming relationships, taking on quests, learning magic, and growing stronger through dangerous encounters. But the more he explores this world, the more he realizes that there is far more going on than he first thought. Follow Dread as he builds a new life, uncovers the secrets of this strange world, and searches for the truth behind how he came to be there.
