Drenched in Desire

It's some game idea that lacks any showcases that are interesting, it's not the trash deserving 1 star but at the same time it's a demo where there is not much to judge. Not much graphics, lack of gameplay, if the idea for finished game is to be what it is now, than it's 1 star as by description you expect some kind of combat but instead you choose what will happen by pressing button and any dice throw "skill" check matters not.

It could be good, if the screen size were adjustable.​ It could be good, if you knew what to do.​ It could be good, if you were told why an action would succeed or fail.​ It could be good, if you wait for the next 20 updates.​ At least it's not all bad and, in its current form, worth at least two stars.

I played the demo and I must admit that I really liked the game, even though it was too short for me. I got a feel for what the game will be like. What caught my attention the most was the x8 pixel art and the artwork in the scenes. There may be one or two things that aren't so good, but for me it was a cool experience, I'd say.

Put out a v0.0.1 with a patreon link = get judged as a v0.0.1 The Good: - Hand-drawn CG and art, refreshing in this day and age and it's pretty good at that. That's it really. The Bad : - There is nothing here but a "have sex with me" option for NPCs, then the usual body part selection and you are treated to either a still image for most, an animation for handjob, and nothing for footjob because even an image for that option isn't created yet. - The walking and direction is just pointless at this stage, and feels really slow when moving side to side. It seems to want to have a story, but all you get is the girl waking up going "I'm late! I'm late! I'm horny! But I'm late!" but it never actually says what she is late for, where to go, or gives any direction. A guy even comes up to you after you have slept once, slutshames you, then says to come meet him "under the Great Bridge", which also isn't in the game right now! Now people will obviously say "oh but look it has dice rolls! and skill checks! and an illegal fence for selling items later and talk of monsters!" but none of it matters, because it doesn't do or change anything, if you are that impressed by me putting a "your strength is 20" piece of text that does nothing then you are part of the reason these v0.0.1s with "support me" links exist in the first place, grow some standards. It's a glorified 5 image gallery viewer with basic movement and a Patreon link slapped on it.
