About Dress Quest

Dress Quest is a turn-based 2D, 2DCG fantasy adventure by Poison, built in RPG Maker VX Ace. You play Eris, commander of Baron's knights, sent alone to collect seven dresses, the only things still effective against monsters spreading across the continent. The quest moves between walled towns such as Baron, Muscleroom, Regenhoehle, Zipang, Holy Rune, and Hoodlum. Each dress forms a complete gear set, with unique portrait, stats, and field sprite. Dialogue shifts according to Eris's outfit, even when she wears nothing, and a shame counter tracks that state. The adult content is monster-focused and often forced, with a title-screen gallery holding 47 unlocked scenes.

The current build is v1.13, released July 4, 2014. It is a Windows release, not a demo or final version. The English (Sonnet 5) version uses mosaics for censorship.

Developer's description

Eris, commander of the knights of Baron, is sent out alone to gather the seven dresses the only things that still work against the monsters spreading across the continent. Every town wants something before it will help her, and to some of them a knight travelling on her own is worth more than the errand she is on. Spoiler A turn-based RPG Maker VX Ace quest across a continent of walled towns: the royal capital of Baron, the martial-arts town of Muscleroom and its coliseum, the caves at Regenhoehle, the eastern island of Zipang and its water god, the holy city of Holy Rune, and the thieves' town of Hoodlum. Each of the seven dresses is a full equipment set with its own portrait, stats and field sprite, and what people say to Eris changes with what she is wearing including nothing at all, which the game tracks with its own shame counter and its own events. The adult content is monster-heavy and largely non-consensual: trolls, goblins, tentacles, the coliseum, and a run of scenes where the price of information is Eris herself. A recollection gallery on the title screen holds 47 scenes, unlocked as you reach them.
