Elven Curse is a 2D animated adventure made by TDMBP using the Others engine. You play as a female elf under a curse. She must enter dungeons and break the spell by destroying the artifact that powers it, while complications develop along the way. The game presents its fantasy setting through illustrated scenes.
The current build is v0.1.4f, released on February 1, 2023. Development continues, and this Windows version is in English with no censorship. The update brought the tavern scenario back into the main game, moved tavern cutscenes to the new system, added a waitress resting image and correct knife pickup image, softened a vignette effect, fixed several tavern display and movement issues, replaced an old chest with current statues, improved night key UI, added a safer cutscene skip delay, and corrected UI after hide and seek with imps.

version 0.1.3o
This update is dedicated almost entirely to the save system and updating the goblin capture event to the new interact system.
Conversion to the save point system is in effect. There is one room in the forest and the goblin capture scenario where you will be able to save your game. There is only one save file for the moment. The game can be loaded from the main menu or the pause menu.
Quest progress and character upgrades will now be recorded in your save. With one exception, the door that opens once you use the pink gem will close again on load. However you still have the gem so the door just needs to be opened again.
For now access to the Tavern area is removed. There is still some more work to do on making saves work properly for that area.
The goblin capture scenario now functions from beginning to end with the space key for interacting with everything. Other rogue instances of needing the old interact key have hopefully all been stamped out.

I want to rate this one higher. The art that gets included is fantastic, what animations are included are fantastic, but the gameplay loop is horrible. The combat and controls feel like an early 2000s Newgrounds game. The dev is…

First, the game resolution doesn't work no matter how many times and sizes you re-size the fucking window, so you cant see the fucking map, second, after you go to the tavern and escape, the events are glitched, you can't…

Well, it looks promising but lacks many key elements for a game. Art style is brilliant tho, there's nothing to complain about here. And overall even in such an early stage game feel pretty fun to play. BUT 1. It…
