v3.0 Whats New: It's a small update that gives access to F79 Eden Control Room, and F80 New Eden areas. The areas weren't going to be accessed until later in the story arc but I've made it able to explore and do some tasks for now. It will change in a later update to require story arc progression. The area itself is not finished and there will be more tasks and lore to do around it in a future update. And existing tasks will be more randomized where I can. - 3 randomly assigned tasks: Speak to Selene the overseer of Project New Eden. She will assign these in random order, each one completable once a day and resets on sleep as usual. You can save/be clumsy with a runaway train, and a crashed helicopter. And the 3rd event is helping process tinies in the control room. - Lore: There's a few npc's who work in the control room you can talk to and find out a little more about New Eden. You can only enter it for obvious reasons when you have a task, and it's got storms to keep everyone away from surface level. Holding SHIFT will cause Dani to sprint (new sprinting sprite) and while doing so counts as the 'Reckless' Mode that Tsumi has in New Eden, so be careful when running! - TRF Attack Maps: The 2 TRF missions from the last standalone update have been updated based on feedback and made available to access in Eden Control for now. Soldiers attack range is now based on screen in view, but they might be able to fire from just 1 space off screen if you're unlucky. Other Patch Notes - Coco (receptionist) now tells Danielle upon entry of straw room that she's prepared it for her. - Save Crystal added to New Eden Control. - TRF Demo: Changed 12 down to 7 & 9 squares before firing. They should shoot when they start to appear on screen and not off it. - Fixed Typo's with Tina convo. - Fixed Tsumi Bikini outfit animation clipping. - Dani base sprite has an updated bigger chest like Tsumi. - F80 updated to reflect F79/New Eden entrance. Accessible when story arc intro is completed as normal. - Fixed typo's in info for Danielle/Tsumi swapping portal. v2.99B This update adds a new event, and a few small quality of life updates. Japanihon Tanaka Hotel Event: The first reward from Alex's tiny minigame unlocks a short new path to unlock a new bath event in Hotel Tanaka. You will be playing as a tiny (Tsumi will have her own POV at a later date and basically cheating due to her size). The intro and outro of the event are a bit long but parts can be skipped. There's a few customization options too. How to unlock: -Find and save the TRF Soldier in Alex's minigame (above). After saving him, a question mark will appear above his head. Talk to him again to learn a clue. -Find the area he mentions, and solve the puzzle with the info he's given you. -Return to Tsumi's Hotel Room and the event will be unlocked. -You can choose to help the tinies after and grant them citizenship. After the event if you wish to repeat it, you can talk to the cakebites lady to get more. Note: Granting citizenship for the ones you chose in your inventory have no use currently, but an option will be added in for a future update. In addition, things like the water in the event do not have a use and are only cosmetic changes, unfortunately I could not find a way to make it an obstacle for the player to run around or slow them down yet but I will try look into it again at a later date. -Generic NPC's: Now have a speech bubble showing instead so you know they're not important to talk to. The things they say have been updated, with females having more in the list to say. Dirty filter affects it as usual. Maps affected: Gym, B4, Lobby, Shopping, Cafes, F42, Japanihon etc -Map location Icons: Added to Japanihon's overworld. Similar to Metro City & Northsides. Smaller Updates & Patches: -Nico bio statue added to gallery floor -Nico citizen card image updated -The arrow for text boxes that lets you know you can press enter to continue, has been moved to the far right corner. -Fixed and added 2 way transition area in Japanihon between Downtown and Rail Crossing West, where the park is. -Japanihon's Highway South area has a slight building change for part of new event. -Japanihon Hotel Bathroom has a changed layout due to new event. Bathtubs also added to the floor in other rooms. -Some slight changes to the TRF conversation to fit with the new event in Alex's minigame world. -The TRF Biggo animation cutscene (Alex minigame) is now patched as it was enabling things it shouldn't of been doing after you finished viewing it. -Fixed the cakebites shop to not act crazy if trying to exit and you hadn't bought any. (Seriously how did no-one tell me about this for years hahaha, only came across it by chance!) -Old save files when loaded that have black text and are missing the text box can now be fixed by loading the save, interacting with the save crystal (this applies the fix), and saving again. -Fixed the black outline around text that disappeared in v2.99, to reappear again. -Changed NPC Conversation Bubbles to white text with a grey background. Unfortunately the outline is forced and cannot be turned off so leaving it black text makes it unreadable. -Added a little new decor to Alex's minigame world (above ground only and nearly all maps). -VIP Voiced: The 3rd option list for after eating lines should be fixed and working correctly for what you choose. I am now mentally scarred from looking back at my old code and wondering how on Seracia I made that event so big. -If Tsumi is in her beach bikini, tinies will disappear to prevent her teleporting back into her office outfit. -Sleeping and using the Friday Afternoon skip option should now not get you stuck in a day, that thinks its Morning Midday and Evening all in one. -Changed voice direction at the bottom of the new NPC speech bubble to a pointier one. -Added padding so some letters don't get their edges cut off in the new NPC speech bubbles. -Slight change to main menu to not show water for a split second sometimes, especially while loading. v2.9 N/A
