Emerald Dawn is a Ren'Py kinetic novel by Sendo, presented with 2D computer graphics. The story blends fantasy, romance, and parody. It follows Byleth, a male protagonist, after a bloody war ends and peace returns to Fodlan, the land beloved by the Goddess. With Rhea’s fate uncertain after the final battle, Byleth has spent time hunting remaining threats. His unsuccessful hunt brings him back to Garreg Mach, the place where the journey began, and the game asks what awaits him there and whether his prayers will be answered.
The game is finished, released as version 1.0 on December 27, 2022. It runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux, is written in English, and is uncensored. The latest changelog entry marks the initial release.
Developer's description
As the sun sets for the bloody war, a new dawn shines on the land beloved by the Goddess. Blue skies and gentle breezes finally return, ushering in the era of peace to Fodlan. With the fate of Rhea unknown after the final battle, Byleth occupied himself with his mission to eliminate the remaining threats to Fodlan. After an unsuccessful hunt, he returns to Garreg Mach, the place where it all began. What awaits Byleth in his return? Will his prayers finally be answered?
