Emily: Between Shame and Desire is a Ren'Py visual novel from Manticore Studio. It follows Emily, a female protagonist moving into a new apartment and university in a tempting city. Players make choices that shape her confidence, boundaries, relationships, and responses to pressure. The 2D CG style supports a story-driven adult experience built around romance, corruption, and voyeurism themes.

Development is ongoing with version v0.2 released on July 30, 2026. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Android in English, without censorship. The latest update adds Chapter 2 through Day 4, the first interactive city map, free-time structure, optional activities, and new content and decisions with Sara, Daniel, Amanda, Toni, Marcus, and Ethan. It also expands Gallery, Replay, and Extras menus, updates Android to v0.2, and lets saves from the end of v0.01 continue.

Your choices influence her confidence, her boundaries, her relationships, and the way she responds to the world around her. Will she stay careful and reserved? Become bolder and more dominant? Let others guide her? Or lean into temptation faster than anyone expected? There are no wrong choices, only different versions of Emily.
