The Fall of the Duchy is an RPG Maker adventure by potato_samurai (ぽてと侍), presented with 2D animated CG visuals. You play Princess Solina, a princess sent by her father, the king, into a neighboring principality to undermine its military strength. The current build is version 1.03, released August 22, 2025, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows in English, with translation credits for Qwen3.8-Flash-Next-Uncen and GPT-6.1-Terra. The game is censored with mosaics. The latest changelog entry, v1.02, fixed bugs in the slum alleys, healing during battles, and a flashback room, and removed the treasure chest in Marco's mansion. Earlier notes removed debug characters and fixed bugs in multiple Marco's Mansion rooms.

One day, Princess Solina is ordered by her father, the king, to infiltrate a neighboring principality and weaken its military forces. Accompanied by Kirisame, who has been sent by the kingdom to assist her, Solina must overcome various challenges along the way. Will the two of them manage to complete their mission and make it back home safely...?
