In an interesting turn of events, that old & creepy pizzeria restaurant chain you knew as a kid has been bought out. The company now known as
FazAnime
has rebranded their old characters into far more "appealing" mascots, with surprisingly state-of-the-art technology.
While having these characters' identities be retro-fitted to work in a racy "breastaurant" environment has been widely considered to be a controversial decision, the overall success of this new business can't be denied. With a combination of shock marketing and stellar reviews, this
FaniBear's Diner
installment has become quite the booming business.
But of course, being such high-value technological marvels, it'd be an awful shame if
FazAnime
's characters were ever damaged by illegitimate hands late into the night. Fortunately, that's where you come in. As our new night guard, you get access to fantastic pay, company benefits, and great night-time company that just can't wait to get to know you personally.
Spoiler:
GAMEPLAY
Just like any other game where you play as a restaurant's night guard dealing with dangerously autonomous animatronics at night, you stay in your office watching the cameras, and do your best to make sure that none of them wander into your office. You also need to keep an eye on your power usage, and keep in mind of every animatronic's special quirks if you are to get through each night safely.
…Or you could, y'know, just let one into your office. Each animatronic is featured in their own special
jumpscare animation
and associated
loss scene
, though it should be noted that you get access to that content when you beat an animatronic's introductory night, so you don't need to lose on purpose and restart the night if you don't want to.
v0.2.6
Night 2 is fully implemented, featuring Chimes the Puppet.
Chimes loss scene is implemented, with plenty of steamy animations & dialogue for you to experience.
An error screen pops up if the main game fails to load, with you no longer being stuck at an infinite loading screen.
Texture atlases for many visual assets have been split up into much smaller files. This should heavily mitigate certain scenes and their associated assets failing to load.
The dialogue box featured in loss scenes can now be hidden, with a new visibility toggle added to the top left of the screen.
Player marker was added to the map to be more explicit about the player's position.
$5+ patron section added to credits.
Android port now has armeabi-v7a support, which should allow the game to run on older Android hardware.
Helpful tooltips in the Custom Night menu now appear when hovering your mouse over character icons, describing their behavior.

Framework is there for a cool fnaf style porn game. The two animations there are not the best but they are nice and well animated. Nights are a bit long and rather uneventful. But that's due to it being night one. Will be nice to see more content and mechanics for it. I hope they don't make the animations only apply for the game over and they use them like in other fnaf like games as a debuff or distraction (not my idea, saw someone in the discussions mention it). Other than that it looks good and hope it can distinguish itself from most other games like it.

I see the potential here. Art is amazing, along with good sound design it gives a good atmosphere. However in its current state, gameplay is lacking. While the basics are there, both characters on Max AI attack less than a dozen times each. However I'm sure the introduction of other characters and mechanics will work together wonderfully and hopefully end up as a balanced game. As it is only 0.1 I will give this five stars.
