As you guys know, this second part of the update is longer than that of a regular update.
For this release, we decided to animate most—if not all—of the sex scenes. It was a lot of work and took much more time than expected, but we’re happy with the results.
Turns out animations are really fun to make—but not so fun to render.
Some other content has also been updated:
The Prologue and Chapter 1 were revised. Early mistakes were fixed, and some details were adjusted.
I also removed some references to other games, especially those from Waifu Academy, as they lost their relevance after Chapter 1.
Redundant phrases, awkward sentences, and poorly constructed dialogue have been refined, and we’ll continue improving things over time.
I rewrote parts of the main storyline, slightly tweaking some character personalities. The most significant change was to Mariya—not a major overhaul, just enough to make her feel like an actual character rather than an Asian stereotype.
The other five main characters—Melissa, Stacy, Erika, Tiffany, and Sarah—remain largely unchanged.
About the soundtrack:
After some discussions, we decided to remove certain songs. While all the music in the game is either copyright-free or karaoke versions (I'm looking at you, Space Oddity), some companies don’t want their music associated with adult games. With that in mind, we’ve dropped those tracks for now and are looking for a long-term solution.
No, AI-generated music is not on the table.
For now, we have three original tracks by Skye Jordan, but we’ll see what we can do going forward.
As for sound effects, we’re keeping them, but we’ll be more selective.
And yes, as much as I love the orgasm sounds from The Visit by Stiglet (anyone who played that game knows how cringe they are, which is exactly why they became fantastic later on), I understand they’re not for everyone.
So, we’ll be following a specific approach for sound selection. Apologies for any inconvenience.
After this update, we aim to return to our regular development cycle of around two months.
If any further delays occur, we’ll let you know in advance. As always, we thank you for your patience, understanding and support.

I almost wanna give it four stars to balance out the one star reviews. The graphics are good and creative, there's a lot of minor adjustments and larger position changes. Some scenes are so flexible that I'm wondering why they did all those shots. But I do agree with Thaeral. There is so much text bloat. I have a VERY good memory for plot, I could probably tell you most of what happened in Freeloading Family by heart, after playing it once over a year ago. It was very memorable and the characters stuck with me. I am so overexposed to the girls that I barely remember what happened before Chapter 7. That's a huge problem. There are SO MANY DETAILS. I do love intricate stories. Contrary to Thaeral, I did notice that Johnny is clearly written to act like Sherlock Holmes, slightly autistic and probably uses a network of freshmen or poor workers (like Liliana), to get information around the city. But by overloading your story with so many details, you kind of lead the reader to expect a payoff. If I take notes and adjust my choices according to all the information that you have given me, will I get the super secret Zero Suit Samus ending? Other people have mentioned that the choices don't matter yet. I haven't tried that myself but I am afraid you could NEVER pay off all the details you put there. I'm not a professional writer, but I think the concept forgotten here is called Chekhov's Gun. If you show something in a scene, it should have a use. I am eager to solve the main mysteries of the game: How will Stacy come around to like MC? Who is related to MC, and what are the circumstances surrounding their birth? Did Erika's father do some heinous shit in the hospital to random children, switching them around, declaring them dead and selling them? But I am also hella sick of all the secrecy surrounding THE ENTIRE TOWN plotting behind MC's back. There are so many hints. Dude, at this point, just tell me. There are TV moderators on late night call in shows that give less hints than you. I even get information MC isn't using, so I dissociate from MC more and more because he runs into obvious traps, because he didn't hear people speak behind his back... But I did. I wanted to keep things short by referencing Thaeral and now I wrote at least the same amount already. TL/DR, the visuals are very good, the writing shows a great idea and promise, but you need someone to edit out the bloat, and maybe safe ideas for later chapters. It's great that you promise us so many secrets, but pace them out better, and most importantly, don't explain every bit of conversation from every angle. TL/DR: Good graphics Interesting story Somewhat relatable and emotionally available characters Terrible pacing / big text bloat.
This game is excellent much like their previous game, each girl is lovely, actually have interesting personalities. It's not a game for those who are looking for a quick fap. It is fun to try and guess the intentions of each character, it is fun learning more about them, what drives them, what caused them to become the way they are. Most games of this type are very shallow.
Review v.0.9 Most of what i have to say was already said here, multiple times, so i keep it short. For the positives: The game has good looking renders and i like many of the models. The couple of animations are ok, not outstanding in any way, but serviceable. Sadly this is also where the positives end for me. Now for the cons: As mentioned in other posts, the bloat in dialogue. It really serves no purpose other than to waste time and frankly, it's sleep-inducing boring. (And with bloat i mean, you could easily remove half to 2/3 of the entire dialogue without losing out on anything, in some scenes you could remove even more) See the review of thaeral , he describes it nicely. Choices, the game keeps ignoring pretty much any and all choices you pick...why even implement them if you ignore it either way... Forced LI's/forced sex & lewd scenes. Yes, there are choices, the LI's have relationship points, but it doesn't mean shit...you can pick all the negative choices for 8 updates, have zero points with a LI and then you are still forced to date and fuck her....at this point i don't assume it will be any different with the other girls. The overall story is not great and has a lot of inconsistencies. That your choices are ignored all the time clearly doesn't help, especially with the LI's and relationships. Personaly i really don't like the MC
This game just doesn't give a shit about choices. Then why implement them? The only goal this game reaches is a lot of confusion and inconsistency. Example. I personally don't like this stupid whore landlady who starts throwing herself on me; that's why I tried to take so many negative choices. I thought they mattered; I thought I could get rid of her that way. But NO! Turns out choices don't matter at all here. MC always says yes to everything. In one scene he speaks with this landlady like a douche, and in the next she initiates a lewd scene with him, and he can't say no to her. It's so stupid. Yep, so basically, this is a kinetic novel without any real freedom of choice. Haha, this is fucking ridiculous. I literally played her, took her money for the house 800,000$, didn't pay for her in the restaurant, and after all this shit, she's making out with MC and telling him that he is a wonderful guy! Either this Melissa is some kind of crazy, spineless and stupid old slut or this game is just broken. And also, most of the dialogs and inner thoughts of the MC are a bunch of unnecessary nonsense that serve no purpose for the plot and don't make this game interesting even in the tiniest bit. The only positive thing here so far is Erika and dates with her; she understands MC better than anyone, can relate to him, and loves him dearly. I can see that, but unfortunately this MC likes some fucking cow landlay more than the girl who, in my opinion, would be a great soulmate to him. That's just sad and tragic when something good can't be chosen, and instead of that, you are FORCED to watch how Dev turns all important choices to dust and ruins everything good in his own game. Such a shame.
I don't recall this many issues with translation in Freeloading Family, nor do I recall this much chaos-dominated dialogue. The majority of the character dialogue revolves around "talking around" a point, topic, idea, or purpose rather than actual making a point, talking about the topic, or actually introducing the idea. It's not like Stephen King writing where he goes into an over-abundance of descriptive text about EVERYTHING the reader's perspective could possibly experience with five senses at that moment in the book's storyline. For example, say the whole point of what I want to talk about is this green bush planted in a lawn, but before I talk about the bush, I want to talk about the earth that the bush is planted in, and the grass that grows in the very same earth the bush is in. And the worms and insects that crawl and live in the earth the bush and the grass is planted in. And the wind that blows through that grass and bush. That right there is a wall of useless text. I repeatedly used the word bush which was the topic point, but you learned NOTHING about the bush beyond it's a bush planted in a lawn - covered in the first sentence. In this game, it's just a lack of editing, or I guess reliable beta testers in this case? Editors perform the task of keeping Creatives who are too close to the "work" to maintain an objective perspective and stay on track. Just like in movies, the editor also questions and requires the writer to consider and justify scenes and dialogue that do not seem necessary. Is this needed to move the story forward or needed to set up something or explain something? With this game seemingly large amounts of unnecessary dialogue is possibly just let down by the fact that the translation is often confusing. Absolutely no part of me understood the flashback to Stacy sitting alone in the garden, and she meets and talks at length with "Uncle Jon". I have NO idea what that was supposed to explain or accomplish other than confusion. Compound that with, the entire mystery Stacy is hiding is just a complete throwaway branch for me. Unlikeable character acting like a spoiled, entitled brat, and apparently involved with disreputable people who have leverage on her because she's trapped in some way and using/treating loved ones and best friends who have only ever been good to her and supportive, like tools or pawns on a chess board. So often I'm clicking through these massive tracts of word salad that just serve no purpose other than "color", I guess? But there are limits to color commentary, and it doesn't serve to move the story forward. Like 90% of the dialogue the "detectives club" characters (Oliver and Johnny) were talking to the MC about in the Library just wasted time, but SO much time was spent there for no purpose. Leaving there, the MC only took with him that they have to do more detecting. PAGES of text to leave with nothing progressing the story. So is Johnny being introduced there a pivotal moment in the story? We already spent plenty of time with Oliver, so it's not him. Was learning that Johnny's oldest sibling is old enough to be his grandfather a major piece of information for the story and/or characters? Does it add depth to the Johnny character, making him more interesting or believable? How about them being unable to speak about the "networks" that they are using to do this investigation for the MC - they touched on it more than once. Does that do anything for us at that moment in the story? Based on their results, it seemed to me that they just used a search engine and came up empty. So was this just supposed to be humorous? I'm just often finding myself annoyed that my time is just being wasted so often, but it is an interesting plot with interesting characters. And it isn't always written like it's made of cotton candy. There is substance there. As always, I will state, I am assuming that at least SOME of my issues are my fault. Maybe I'm the idiot. I could easily be making this worse for myself by clicking quickly through dialogue that I've identified and fluff. Maybe it isn't. I'm hopeful that Stacy is a "redeemable trash" type of character. Starts off as the one you'd write out of the game because she's just a piece of shit of a human being, irredeemably ignorant, not worth my time. But the story ends up revealing a deep and tragic history and backstory, massively rewarding you for sticking it out and with her where she ends up having the most growth and is the most loyal and "ride or die" LI in the game.
I like it, especially after playing V08. The girls are beautiful and have a personality. Graphics quality is nice and fine face expression implemented., a lot of mystery I am looking forward to being solved. unfortunately poor English grammar. But overall in my view a nice job Keep it up, dev, and don’t let us wait too long for the next update.
It doesn't deserve such a low score, certainly the story is intriguing and has its own little mysteries so it's gripping. In addition, the pace and style of development of the relationship with the characters is very appropriate.
a bunch of fake choices , forced relationships/sex/lewd there wasnt a single choice that counted in the end forced in a relationship with that old hag "landlady" want to ignore that one girl? - nah , lets go on a date dont care about that other girl? - nah , get after her and try to solve her problems after a forced sex scene with even another girl, get asked about 5 other girls and dont be able to say "none" on a decision who you like? even if you dont know any of them the whole story is one inconsistency after another? why would the mc not just sell the house to the old hag? why would he go to college there if he was just visiting before his "sabatical" year , the more after getting a large amount of money? getting a tutor forced on him - for what again? and everyone seems to be connected somehow , knows about the mc - but the mc is this dumb simp who always agree to anything nothing makes sense
The game has a very good story with a touch of mystery along with romance, the characters are all beautiful and charismatic each with their own personality and the graphics are also very beautiful, whoever liked the previous game will like this one
I've always held the opinion that good vanilla porn games should be focused on character interactions and romances. Story and exposition is important, but only so far as to bring the love interests together. With vanilla VNs, we want characters that we can give a shit about, good romance between the MC and the LIs, and hot sex scenes. If any of that is what you're looking for, you'll find very little of it in this VN. The most notable problem with this VN is the extremely bloated and boring dialogue in a generic porn plot. I'm not exaggerating when I say probably 95% of this VN is useless exposition and mundane, non-romance dialogue. And it's a LOT. I'm not one to skip dialogue typically, but I did with this one. I started skipping any dialogue that didn't specifically have to do with character romance and I found myself skipping damn near everything... It still took me several hours to get to the end even despite skipping the boring stuff. And for my efforts, there was surprisingly little actual romance to find . As of chapter 7, Most of the relationships with the LIs are luke-warm at best. And there are very few sex scenes. One intercourse (LI), One blowjob (LI), One anal (Sidegirl). Only one scene is animated using stock daz animations, the rest are just static renders. There isn't even very much nudity at all in this VN. The vast majority of the nudity as a whole is taken up by that one sex scene and then another scene where an LI is talking on the phone naked. Oh and let's talk about the renders and character models! They're... normal... They're not bad, but they're also not outstanding in any way. There are also surprisingly few renders per word count. So expect to be staring at the same 1 or 2 renders through out each - often unnecessarily wordy - conversation. TLDR: If you're looking for something boring to read while trying to fall asleep, then I highly recommend this VN. If you're looking for a vanilla VN that has enjoyable and fruitful character romances and sex, then look somewhere else.
The best part of this developers is how he is very good at rendering but the story and plot is just terrible and how there were so many unneccesary dialogues that goes on and on, simply said its a very boring game with good renders and with this pace the game would take 10 years of development before you can bang all the girls.
It started promisingly, but recently, the story hasn't advanced much or introduced any interesting developments with the girls. It feels more like a mundane life simulator—just chatting with people, going to the gym, visiting cafes, attending college, and so on. I held off on reviewing it since it showed potential initially, but honestly, it has become more boring with each update.
To play this Visual Novel, you need to suspend your disbelief, as the events, to fit into the plot, are somewhat illogical. Perhaps elements were changed to remove incest from the game. However, aside from the script, technically the game has no issues, as the graphics are great. The music, however, did not please me, perhaps because I had played another game from the same company and they reused the same tracks. My critique of the VN is that I am forced, against my will, to choose situations I would not like, such as having sexual relations with a specific character, for example.
Visually, one of the best looking i have come across in awhile. The story is interesting and different, atleast to others i've played. No animations, but thats fine, though i saw they are on the table. The bad points. i could say the lack of choice, or forced into certain directions. but personally i like the routes and chars.... so thats subjective. i could also say, because it a slowburn, only come across 2 lewd scenes... but again i love the buildup, the world building so to speak. my only gripe really is... the dialog or structure of the writing. its plainly clear that the Dev, is not an english native speaker and possibly using some auto-translate. theres alot of weird added words and bits, that make each sentence, out of wack or backwards. can be easily sorted by running by afew native english speaking proofreaders. so it can be alittle difficult to follow at times, especially as this is a text heavy AVN. but despite that, i really like it and can't wait for next release.
Good Points + Art style and models of girls look good, but sadly this is literally the only good point about this game... Bad Points - The story makes no sense at all. For example, there is literally no logical reason and logical explanation for why MC gave house the to Melissa. Honestly story would have made a lot of sense if Melissa was MC's long-lost mother, literally everything about the story points out that direction, and the whole game story feels like based on that fact, yet we don't have it. - Classic some girls being mean/rude to MC for no reason trope, like always makes no sense and is not enjoyable at all. - For an adult game it's pretty bad, currently we have only a couple of sex scenes in the game and only one of them has one short animation for a blowjob, other than we have no animation, and since we lack animations you do think we might have a lot of different positions/angles for sex scenes, sadly we don't have that either and they are pretty bad. - Choices don't matter most of the time and as a player, you feel like you have no power over the story at all. - Relationship developments have no build-up and they do make no sense at all. For The End The game has good models/art, but lacking animations in sex scenes nor not having at least a logical story is a very bad point, this game needs a remake and a lot of improvements for sure until that day I'm going to give 1 star, hope the game became better with updates and they do consider remaking the game because the current state of the game is not acceptable for 2023 at all.
As usual,, Great looking Models. I don't know how this developer makes such great looking models one after another, while many high earning devs have no clue how to make good models or it's probably good taste of this dev compared to others. The game is still early stage, so split path should come with more choices in the future. The dev doesn't have too many Patrons so, splitting path from the very beginning will be a lot of overwork for him considering his revenue. Update: As far as I said earlier things didn't pan out that way. Unlike FF this VN story sucks and illogical as hell. I don't understand why some devs changes outside story just not to pose as Incest content. You want to do incest then provide an Incest patch or produce a clean VN with coherent story. I'm lowering the stars to 3 from 5. 3 because of great artwork gorgeous models.
As of v0.6 PROS Good looking models Different story Well made. CONS Forced into routes Forced into scenes Weirdos & bitches only CONCLUSION Good looking but choices don't seem to matter, you have no influence over the story (such as it is) or LI routes. Would've put 2.5 stars I could as it's too well made to be poor but it's less than average.
This is a basically a kinetic novel and a poor one at that. The main part of the story, if you can find it, actually isn't too bad but the writing is terrible. As others point out, most of the writing is just distracting filler that really doesn't have a place in this story. You can click 40+ times and not miss anything that is core related. ---------- There are also errors on almost every 'page' such as: "But looking back, we aren't nothing but cosmic dust, who were luck enough to turn themselves a cluster of cells....." "What am I supposed to do with this? Sending via e-mail? Giving in her own hands?" "Why didn't you said you went to a run?" "I could have just following your pace" ---------- Some of the words are spelled differently even when used in adjacent sentences. One might argue that English isn't the dev's native language, however, their prior project was much easier to read and had fewer errors, if I remember correctly. Also that's just a poor excuse, especially with regards to a seasoned developer. The graphics are fine. I don't have high needs or expectations so these are perfect, right in that medium range. Bland but nice looking ladies and a few backgrounds are just stock images that many dev's use. Since you don't have any choice as to whom you interact with or the type of relationships, it doesn't really matter if they are good or bad experiences. One scene has a guy being somewhat aggressive with one of the MC's love interests. It almost sounds like something bad could happen yet the MC hides behind a wall for the most part and just listens. The prior project was great other than ending very poorly. The writing was also much better, if memory serves. It's a shame this one has taken so many steps backward. This is more a case of Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me...... so will be deleted.
The renders are good and that is it sadly. The dialogue is all over the place. After the MC refused to say who he was to Melissa and instead play a game of being the tenant the game was over. The will reading was so poorly written and not even logical. When you are at a will reading it is the lawyers job to get you to understand and let you ask questions. Is this the same person writing as in Freeloading family? Freeloading family had funny written characters, unique and somewhat quirky but this is just a snooze fest. Don´t know what happened since FF but this is atrocious.
Yes the renders are good, exceedingly bright at times so that's a problem. MC monologues with himself forever like damn take a deep breath man!! I'd say about 50 %of every update has him blabbering himself. Animations are borderline alright. Zero sexual buildup with whatever content we got till now. That town they live in is way too liberal for my taste. Friend of his is typical horny fucker whenever mc has a chat with him, he'll sure deduce the conversation down to perverse.
