About Forgotten Pathways

Forgotten Pathways is a Ren'Py adult visual novel by Ochilochin. It uses 3D rendered art and animation. You play as a male protagonist who wakes in Nina's home after she found him unconscious in the street. He has no memory, not even his name. As he tries to recover his past, he explores a fantasy world full of oddities and hidden questions. The story mixes humor and romance while he learns to live in a society where everything feels unfamiliar.

The current build is v0.3, released March 14, 2024, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, is in English, and is uncensored. The v0.3 update added 1,865 renders, 27 animations, about 9,050 code lines, 51,754 words, 69 songs, 59 sound effects, five lewd scenes, five memories, and 75 menus. It also revealed all love interests and fixed bugs and typos.

Developer's description

The story begins as the MC wakes up in the house of the very nice Nina, who found him passed out in the street. MC doesn't remember anything about his life... Not even his own name. While trying to recover his memories, he begins to discover that the world he lives in has certain... intriguing peculiarities and mysteries. What's wrong with this world? What actually happened to the MC? Why doesn't he remember anything? Who is telling the truth? While MC is looking for answers to all these mysteries, he will have to learn to live normally in a society where everything seems new. Ps.
