Reworked the tutorial into a full, fleshed-out quest called "To Earn a Mentor Crown" that takes the player's hand a little more. It's still skippable tho. Gathering and Crafting Added a new Gathering job : Miner, along with new ressources to gather in every region. Most of these aren't useful at the moment (except for selling them) but they will come in handy as more crafting jobs will get added. Currently Miner and Botanist share the same skills, but there will be some variation later on. 2 new gathering skills added : "Focus" and "Second look" 2 new crafting skills added : "Sort" and "Makeshift" Miscellaneous Added a New Game + system that can be triggered through a new item : the Rewind Philter. This item can be bought in Idyllshire and Ishgard or crafted. Using it will reset your quest and romances to allow you to choose different paths (or try another sex) but you will keep your job level, items and gil. The gallery has been moved to the main title : the NSFW scenes are now unlocked through persistent variables and aren't locked to a specific save file. Added a "Report" option in inns : innkeepers act on behalf of adventurers' guild and you can get rewards for hunt and do levequests. Levequests system : to ease up the grind, you can now exchange specific items for experience and gil. The requested items are randomly picked in accordance with your level. Fullfilling or replacing a request will cost an allowance. You recover one allowance per night, up to a maximum of 10. Tweaked the rest and experience rate system : instead of starting at 100% and lowering to 25% each night, it now starts at 125% and can't go any lower than 100%. Think of it as a way to reward players than interact with the resting system, instead of punishing players who don't. Experience has been boosted overall, though there will still be some grind. Added 3 new musics from Muchkin : "Prelude" for the title menu and prologue, "The Land Breathes" as a battle music and "Paradise Found" for the Dravanian Hinterlands / Idyllshire. Added some new, custom icons for the menus and quick menu options, gil and Friendship progress (thumbs ups, similar to the hearts for Romance) Changed the UI when you pick "Train" : you can now see which monsters can be fought in each tier. Changed the UI when you pick "Gather" : you can now see the three kinds of gatherable ressources in the zone and their respective rarity. Tweaked the crafting menu UI to be more user-friendly (ex : showing which recipe difficulty is currently selected) Reworked the "Sell items" gauge, though it's still not perfect. Better display for the log menu Android compatibility for all of the above. v0.1.2 Added Android support Added a Setting icon on the top right corner to access the game menu without having to right-click. Changed the skill description display for battle, crafting and gathering : now it shows up when clicking a (?) beneath the skill instead of hovering the mouse Hint to unlock sex scenes are now displayed in the window that opens when clicking an unavailable scene, instead of displaying when hovering it Interverted Ratel & Morbol in Dravanian Hinterlands to make it easier to get a Morbol Flower for Y'shtola's final quest Changed the Vial of Aether Ink's recipe to require Biast blood instead of Morbol Flower Added the skill "Bad breath" to the Morbols in Dravanian Hinterlands Changed the base gil at the start of the game from 100 to 1000 Fixed a bug where an image from the Male version appeared in the middle of the 4th Female scene if you drank the aphrodisiac. Reduced the amount of Gil the Goblins can steal v0.1.1 Fixed Ren'Py error when starting the 3rd Y'shtola scene as Female MC Fixed bug where Aetherproof resin didn't disappear from your inventory after the 5th quest Fixed level limit to 30 instead of 31 Fixed item limit to 99 Fixed the skill tooltip frame that didn't fit all text for some skills Scaled number of trees on gathering to match with gatherer's level and avoid being softlocked at higher level Buffed enemies experience (especially in later zones) to alleviate the grind Buffed crafting recipes' experience gain for the same reason (nearly doubled) Fixed bug that didn't display Matoya's dialogue when talking to her at dusk while Y'shtola was there Fixed display bug where the required level in Romance menu stayed red unless you had +5 more levels than necessary Fixed bug with Y'shtola's 3rd quest display in the quest journal after the scene v0.1 Character creation (Male and Female Warrior of Light) and prologue 17 different locations to explore, each filled with NPCs who have several dialogues Y'shtola's Friendship and Romance routes, with 9 total scenes in the latter A total of 12 quests (8 of which are related to either of Y'shtola's route) Around 50 items to buy, sell, craft, gather or drop Battle system with 2 fighting jobs (Black mage and Dragoon) and 26 different enemies to fight Crafting system with 1 crafting job (Alchemist), 9 recipes and 18 ingredients assets Gathering system with 1 gathering job (Botanist) and 15 trees assets 2 skills for each fighting, crafting and gathering job, unlockable at lv. 5 and lv. 10 4 arrangement music tracks Memory system to revisit previous scenes Safe for Work (SFW) playmode to skip all erotic content All jobs are currently capped at lv. 30

manages to accurately replicate the experience of spending entirely too much time on doh/dol shit when you could be doing anything else. quite good. oh yeah, the art is really expressive and the characterization is consistent.

Game's good in concept, but the execution is an extremely grindy slog that takes a while. It gets really boring leveling up classes, this really needs a fast XP or difficulty tweak to lower the XP needed.

Honestly this is genuinely peak, although there's a bit of grindiness to it, I was willing to overcome it with just how genuine the dialogue is to the characters as well as the incredible puns within the quest titles. It's basically some of the best of fanfiction created to indulge xiv players that wish for more amongst the character relations realized in the form of a game/visual novel.

TL/DR: I don't think you can enjoy this title if you are only interested in playing a single charter and you aren't bi. There is barely any content. Like 15-20 cgs. It was so sparse, I couldn't even bring myself to try it after peeping at the admittedly good art in the game files. Traditional harem fans, avoid. This title is not supposed to be a harem, it is a designed to be a fuck fest. Rename the title, stop falsely advertising.

The dev's love for FFXIV shines bright in this game! The UI details, the lore details, the characterization... all great. The art is pretty, although it feels very sparse - a natural consequence of committing to gender and platonic variants, I imagine. Playing this after Dawntrail meant I was really craving a strong post-Endwalker story, and I think a main story would be awesome for this game, albeit potentially out of scope for the project. There were a few typos here and there - the misplaced apostrophe in Miqo'te being a recurring one - but the writing was very solid. (I say this as a hypocrite, having put an errant apostrophe into Au Ra too many times myself.) The text did feel a bit brief though, like the writer was charging per word. Text could have been 1.5-2x as long to not feel barebones, and could probably have been even longer comfortably. I was actually impressed with the gameplay, though the combat seemed weaker gameplay-wise than the DoH and DoL jobs. The crafting minigame surprised me with really good minigame design - quick, simple, a good feeling of cleverness when you take a second to really think about it, and it makes sense in the context of crafting.

It's fine. I think the most concerning part is the grind (which I'll get into a bit later) and the monogamy/polygamy thing. Though the "select your sex" thing we've all seen fail spectacularly before (you basically have to make two games instead of one) is up there too. They both sort of go hand in hand. Encouraging multiple playthroughs is fine, though most won't take you up on that offer, which means forcing it is kinda rough. So if you want your harem, you have to share, which isn't my thing. But regardless of taste, it's hard to imagine this ever finishing. The fourth update is going to have to involve cases where you're platonic with the first, in a poly relationship with the second, but not the third. While also handling the everyone-poly situation. And handling each monogamy relationship. Twice, because you'll have a male and female playthrough. By the time you get to the sixth update, it'll be a nightmare. But the biggest reason I'm knocking one star off? The resting system. Literally FFXIV 1.0. Literally this exact game. The same game this game is parodying. That game used to do THE EXACT SAME THING by penalizing not resting instead of rewarding resting. Word for word, bar for bar, this is the same mistake this game made when it was the biggest commercial failure of a major video game series. It's documented! And it was like one of the first things they fixed because of how bad it was! And it's in this game! I recognize that few played 1.0, BUT THERE WAS A REASON. I'm editing this because I think it's a little unfair to say the game won't get done and pre-blame the dev. That's uncool of me. I do have concerns that it's going to bloat out to a project that I wouldn't want to subject any human being to, and seeing how often games get abandoned, I'd hate for such a promising start to go to waste. But man, it's just so on the nose that the exp penalty, something that just make the grind worse, is here.

Absolute banger, I've wanted a ffxiv game to show up here for the longest time, but honestly wasn't sure it ever would. And yet here one pops up of actually astounding quality for a 0.1. I'm extremely excited to see what comes next (fingers crossed for Gaia some time soon). Amazing art quality Amazing attention to detail Only thing I was a little disappointed by was the lake of frames in the scenes, if there could have been more penetration during the first time scene with y'shtola it would've been amazing, but with the quality of the art I really can't complain too much. Notes: I would appreciate it if the alchemy leveling was a little less grindy, but that's a small thing in such a great game. I accidently teleported to Coerthas many times because my monkey brain assumes the first area will be the furthest to the left, a quick sleep or at least quick teleport to the inn would be fantastic.

Amazing first release, recommend the game highly. It delivers on everything it shows with very few issues. Excited to see what happens with the game next! The art is amazing and scenes are hot. I hope that development continues and what characters are added to the game! Hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.

That was an outstanding first release, arts very nice, the grind wasn't too bad although got abit much towards the end. Having to choose to either share or lock into someones route would be a big downer though. Big thing I'd ask for is either more beds or a quick sleep button
