About Frozen Heart

Frozen Heart is a Ren'Py adventure visual novel made by AGL studios, presented with 2D animated artwork. It is a standalone sequel set in the universe of Faulty Apprentice, and you play as the person Commander Angeline asks to join her quest. The story follows her as she tries to uncover the mystery of her father's sword, Sigard. The sword gives her ice and cold powers, but after its repair she struggles to control it, risking being taken over. You are asked to join her on a mission to acquire a ship, while her secret and the larger conflict around the Battle of Stars Reach drive the story. It carries fantasy, monster-girl, and romance themes.

The current build is v0.05.00, released on May 16, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac in English, without censorship. The latest update is story-focused and does not include sexual scenes, though it adds dramatic events. The developers say they have been working on new material and plan to adjust future changes using player feedback.

Frozen Heart is a 2D visual-novel set in the vibrant universe of Faulty Apprentice. In this standalone sequel, you join Commander Angeline in her quest to solve the mystery behind her father's sword. Before she is turned to ice! When you set out on an adventure, you never know where you'll end up. Commander Angeline asked you to join her on the simple quest of acquiring a ship, but she didn't tell you she was hiding a secret. Ever since her legendary sword, Sigard, (which grants her the power of ice and cold), was repaired, she's been struggling attune with it. Is the sword resiting her? Has she changed since the Battle of Stars Reach or has the sword changed? Either way, if she can't regain control of the sword, the sword will take control of her.

Angeline now has a seperate dialogue tree to explore. This path is heavily influenced by your R.Stat (Relationship Stat), so I will be updating the Walkthrough Guide and posting a new one tomorrow. I have edited the presentation to see who (if anyone) is presenting you with the question and visibly see their dialogue as you make your choices.
