About Further Education

Further Education is a Ren'Py visual novel by Kvitravn Tales, built with animated 3D graphics. You play Flynn Casey, a reserved maverick detective whom some call a criminal-in-making, in a place where his expertise is not valued, forcing him to face personal shortcomings after neglecting friends. The story is a slice-of-life romance with mystery at almost every turn, and it is presented as a non-porn game.

The current build is Episode 9 v0.9, still in development, released July 24, 2026 for Windows, Linux, and Mac in English, with no censorship. The latest update adds more than 1300 new renders, 11 or more self-made assets, new sound effects including some self-recorded sounds, and background music. It also introduces render grading, with color adjustments applied in post.

A Savant detective for some, A Criminal-In-Making for others, A reserved maverick who'll do whatever it takes to solve the case; but in a place where his expertise isn't needed, he's forced to confront his shortcomings in his personal life.
