Decent animations for lewd scenes, not the best and needs more angles etc. Structured and reads well Interesting plot, concept, but has some issues with execution CONS: - See my opinions section for details. Jarring MC behaviour choice/options that are stark and contrast to his demeanor/personality and make no sense. See Comments Sexual lewd scenes are very basic, vanilla and short lived, there is not much to them really and they are more arrangement than passionate. This no doubt due to how the story is constructed and the MCs character. The MC at this point is rather unlikable, and his erratic behaviour is not as well planned and plays out less ideal than I like. Plot while interesting is poorly constructed, the characters are and their, world, lifestyle, laws, etc are poorly described and only the MC seems to live by them, where everyone else seems to be pretending. It feels fake and disingenuous. Character expressions don't fit the dialogue often, debates and heated discussions yet often characters still smile, there is little change in body language and this breaks immersion and makes the AVN even more jarring. Only looped music that doesn't necessarily fit the scene, no other audio noticed...pity. OPINIONS, SUGGESTIONS & FINAL REMARKS : NOTE: The following remarks are my personal opinions and thoughts, which may provide more context and could be useful to the developer. (Read them or don't) The MC is annoyingly pragmatic and single‑minded, bordering on robotic. Yet the story forces him into sudden emotional reactions—especially in conversations with Iris—only for him to immediately revert to cold detachment. This contradiction feels unearned and undermines immersion. For example, he consistently rejects Iris, only for the game to present the option to pursue her anyway. It makes zero sense: why would a character defined by disengagement suddenly want intimacy? Rather than organic growth, it reads like poor writing meant to push him toward “becoming human” like the long‑gone ancestors after the world ended. The execution is flawed, and the inconsistency breaks the narrative’s credibility. This AVN can get 4 stars easily enough but will need more time to mature and some effort to clear up issues I mentioned. TLDR: I like this idea of this AVN but not the way its planned and plays out, the dialogue and story unfold jarring and inconsistent, nonsensical, even if I know what the writer is alluding to and probably driving towards, it just feels put together poorly. Visually the AVN is very good, world and characters look good. There are some other places like lewd scenes and lack thereof that need more work.

Futuotica [v1.2a] - 3 / 5 - Top 5 most unlikeable MC in a VN so far. The story: a distant future where humanity, after nuclear war wrecks the surface world, survives and develops a massive underground city complete with an artificial sky. It’s a wild concept, but I can accept that level of sci-fi absurdity. What makes it stranger is the rigid social structure — social credit systems, assigned “intimacy hours,” and a society built entirely around strict regulation, a society run by a Dictator/Benefactor and all aspects of life controlled by ChatGPT/Grand Algorithm. Visually, the game is impressive. The graphics are polished, the lighting is well done, and it’s clear a lot of time and effort went into the presentation. The BG music on the other side is atrocious, the same song put on repeat, after10 minutes I muted the game. Where the game loses me is the main character. The issue isn’t how other characters perceive him — it’s how he comes across to the player. I usually have no problem stepping into the shoes of morally gray or even deeply flawed protagonists. But this MC is simply unlikeable. His mindset, his tone, the way he talks and reacts — it creates distance rather than engagement. Instead of feeling immersed, I feel disconnected. Don't like the idea of pre existing couple MC and Olivia, problem is quite obvious, you have no idea why they are together, it is clearly you the player have no real emotional investment in a pre existing relation, and also MC is monogamous by choice but the law encourages harem, so the game will push you to cheat because there is no emotional investment in a pre existing relation... I really don't understand why the Dev did this. The dialogue is mind numbing, quite a few times, my mind would drift off to something else because, it was boring and uninteresting, especially the small talk in the lab, and also a waste of time, first you have an argument with Iris and then you complain like a little whiny kid to your lab boss. Final Verdict: Play it for yourself, some people would probably like the graphics and the futuristic concept, even accept the story as is, but for me it is unfortunately is a pass, In real life I would not associate myself with this MC.

The game is some kind of post apocalyptic/sf world were human had to live underground because of nuclear war and all that . We start far away in the future when peoples of our time and their way are considered savage and just thinking like them or breaking any rule can get you a fate worse than death, ending up as ginea pig for the rest of your life until you finaly die and were people live like robot with everything predetermined in advance except for one hour of liberty per day under the rule of some tyrant called "Benefactor". (it's kinda like Equilibrium in a way but with conditionning and science working into completly supressing or "controling" like they said, emotions through mind control instead of drugs ) The dev realy try to create an original setup here , render are good,girls look great, music are nice, and it seem relatively well written as well (just not sure why the overview promise deeply human character when they are all conditionned robot in human flesh so far) The main problem for me is the characters themselves (with the exception of Iris who is the only character who have shown some humanity so far) and even more so the mc. Dont get me wrong though, it make sens given the background of the world the dev is building but the mc is even worse than the others, some kind of psychopatic brain engineer obsessed with order, who work on a chip to keep his ginea pigs alive longer because they start lacking of bodies, the guy is a living robot without any emotions, and even though i get that it will evolve through the story (mainly because of one girl he meet early in the game), i just cant go over it .. If it wasnt for another game i tested recently this mc would have been top 1 worst mc i ever seen in these kind of game and it's just impossible for me to immerge myself in the story through him. So yeah,if the game isnt bad by itself,good even (if i could i would put a 3.5) it clearly wont be for everyone with that kind of setup. (and as you can easily guess not for me, even though maybe in some time i check it again to see how the story and the mc evolve)

v1.2a- First i will say the story is written beautifully. It is a narrative piece, so if you are looking to for quick fap material move on. The animations are smooth. The pace is pretty good, but at times i feel it's a tad slow which i get because they have a lot of character development to do, and you don't want the dr to flip overnight. In the next update forward it should speed up a little i believe. It's pretty kinetic, you have choices, but they all seem to circle back to the same main timeline, a few times the choices will say if you get a lewd scene or not. It's a little annoying when you say mono relationshop with the gf and only with my gf. And that night you are to be with her to try some variation, and it seems like days go by, so what happened to your sexy time that night? I looked at the assets, and no other sexy times in there if you say yes to the additional hr as of this update anyway. Im surprised how small the game is, it's been compressed well, and no visible sign of quality loss. I don't have sound on so can't judge it. I think the game is transparent what's going on, who's doing what, and how most of the story will play out, but i'll not mention the clues of each of those things here. And i'll see if i'm right later after some updates/completion of the game. It does have a gallery which is a plus but there's only 2 things in it right now. This game has promise, so i'll look forward to see the next update. It does not hurt that i like sci-fi.

I'll say right away that this VN isn't for everyone. Those looking for material for a quick fap or a main character with a magical penis that all the FMCs, even those from neighboring VNs, jump on can safely pass it by. It has some hot scenes, but they're just a means, not an end. I was hooked by the story, and if you're interested in more than just looking at pictures, you've come to the right place. - Plot - 4.5, it's there and it's good (though not original overall) - Characters - 5, the characters are simply gorgeously written - Graphics and models - 4.5, very good (there are some issues with the animation) - Sound and music - I can't rate it (by the way, I've only encountered one VN so far that I could honestly give a full 5, and that wasn't our case) In the end, we get a 4.5, but since this VN is truly underrated, I'll give it a 5. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in a potentially good story, not just steamy scenes. Review of version 1.1a

Not cyberpunk and not an overdesigned sci-fi. More of a calm, eco-futuristic setting with clean architecture and a soft, unobtrusive presentation. From the first chapter it’s clear the city runs on a system that controls more than it seems at first glance. The renders are high quality without feeling cheap. Animations are smooth and pleasant, and the scenes feel coherent. The overall atmosphere is steady and comfortable to sink into. So far the project looks very solid, and I personally like it a lot curious to see where it goes next.

intial release v.1.1a pros - expressions, poses, ambiance, models, lighting are all top tier - immersion and story are dense/interesting, offers a different perspective with possible branches and ways to explore nitpicks: - minor errors in the text "render_id" of something like that - could have a better a bgm placement during scene changes - the game's name induces to "fut-anari" - the sex scene is very short (could be a showcase for the initial release), and the build up is null (perhaps intentional) looking forward for the future of the game, Im giving 4s for the distinct effort and delivery so far, hope for the best

Never have I ever played a VN with such a sociopathic and disgustig MC like in this one (and I have played a lot). Someone who is experimenting with the brains of humans to change and destroy their personalities. The first one we see is someone who was his colleague for years and one day later he is reduced to "material", no doubts, no inner conflict, not a hint of empathy, only following the algorythm like a robot. Something went wrong, well discard the "matrerial" in a dumpster, no fucks given... If you want to immerse into someone like this, be my guest, but be aware this creature has no humour, no soul and because of that every dialogue feels sterile and boring The renders and animations are good, so I give two stars instead of one
