Game Night
by Neverlucky
You play from the perspective of a man moving to a new city with your wife Sophie. There you will look for people to join you for your regular game nights. Two lovely girls called Taylor and Lisa seem like the perfect partners to play games with. And who knows where that might lead...

v0.1 Full
Initial Release
Version 0.1 reviewed. The story of a young married couple who relocate to a new city. Being avid fans of Dungeons and Dragons, they need to find new players to join their play group and quickly settle on two attractive young women. The prologue ends at this point. -------------------------------- Pros: 1- The wife is very cute (I'm a sucker for Asians!) 2- The remaining characters are also attractive. 3- Option to change the opacity of the text box. A big plus for me. Cons: 1- A slow start with unimaginative dialogue. It feels kind of lifeless. 2- It's kinetic. 3- All of the set designs are very plain and clinical looking. Devoid of character. 4- No sound. 5- The renders are fairly average. Final verdict - Semi- hard. So far it's rather boring but it's still early, so I'm hopeful that things will pick up as the story unfolds. It appears to be heading towards a harem or orgy type game as the wife has already hinted about being attracted to her new female friends. If the dialogue can be spiced up and the story picks up pace this could turn out to be a pretty good game. Good luck to the dev. -------------------------
I played through version 0.1 of Game Night , and honestly, it turned out pretty much as I expected. From what I’ve seen so far, this looks like it’s going to follow a similar formula to the developer’s previous title, Couples . Even though there isn’t an official tag for it yet, I think this game will end up being more of a kinetic story than one driven by player choice. The “choices” you do get are mostly limited to what questions to ask, but since you’ll eventually click through all of them anyway, it doesn’t really add much interactivity. The dialogue itself is fairly dry and covers mostly mundane, everyday topics. There’s not a lot of emotional depth or engaging banter here — it feels more like filler than meaningful character development. On the positive side, the renders aren’t terrible. They’re very much in line with Couples — decent quality but nothing particularly standout. Unfortunately, the characters don’t show much emotion in the visuals, which is disappointing. I was hoping to see the developer improve in that area compared to their earlier work. There are also a few technical issues. Typos pop up throughout the dialogue, and sometimes the visuals don’t quite match what’s happening in the scene. For example, during one dinner scene, the MC says he’ll have white wine, but the render clearly shows him drinking red. It’s a small detail, but it breaks immersion. Overall, Game Night has potential, but it feels like a very safe and predictable follow-up rather than a step forward. I’d like to see the developer push for more expressive character renders, tighter writing, and perhaps some actual choices that matter. For now, I’ll probably only revisit this game when I don’t have much else to play.
