It's been two years since the so-called first wave, where hordes of infected got everything in their path. During this time, countries fought with all they had in order to stop it. Many succeeded, and many were completely lost. You were just a tourist caught during those events. The story begins two years after the first wave in the last remaining country of South America, but for how long will this last? Will you be ready? What kind of leader will you become? How will you handle your enemies? Will you just eliminate them? Will you intimidate them to the point of fearing you? Or will you try to find a peaceful way? Formely known as Somewhere I Belong Spoiler The outbreak caught you while on your vacation in South America, so you've been wanting since then to get back home. The game is Harem, and Almost all romances will be avoidable (You can choose if you want them as girlfriends or just friends). Inspired by World War Z, and left for Dead. If you like the game, please consider supporting it on Patreon. It will help this project immensely. If you are already supporting it. Thanks so much for giving this project a chance. Thanks to you, this dream can become possible.

Season 1 - v0.9.9.8 - I added many more renders to the whole game so the transitions look much better. - I further improved the "pauses" issues. I used to add a lot of intentional pauses, which seemed to be annoying. Now the pauses will be only when you select choices like "watch" or "look carefully." No more random pauses whatsoever. - I added more animated angles and animations to several adult scenes, also improving several adult scenes significantly. - Cyan has more adult and romantic scenes. - Rosa gets an animation, and her dialogues were also much improved. - There are a couple of secret endings. - Audio was also polished further by purchasing more professional sound packs and effects. - Many changes more Season 1 - v0.2.9.4 More than 3,000 renders. Several nice animations. Nice fight scenes. End of the season (Beta). (I hope you enjoy it.) The game has been renamed to Survivor Strain: Season 1 . v0.2.0.0 Episode two - Part Two Episode two 1500 new renders. Several new lewds scenes. v0.1.0.0 - Episode two - Part one 1300 new renders. Five new lewd scenes, four featuring different girls (three of which are animated). Multiple choices that have an impact on the game. You can enjoy all the animations you unlock in the gallery. v0.0.6.0 - episode one N/A v0.0.5.3 - episode one Around 1400 new renders. Two lewd scenes. Several new girls appear. Quick introduction at the beginning. Video gallery (Now you can rewatch the scenes you have unlocked) The game has been reworked, leaving the prototype stage. And more! v0.02 (fix) Music, ambiance, and sound effects were added. The coding and the interface were overhauled. The main history is now introduced. The dialogs were reworked. The game update now ends where it should. v0.01 (Prototype) Initial Release around 800 renders One lewd scene

A very enjoyable AVN. Highly recommended. Immersive storyline (even though zombie apocalypse isn't usually my thing). Interestingly set in Argentina, which gives this AVN quite a different feel. Really nice character renders and H scene animations. There are some absolute honeys here! Pretty well written with no real 'Engrish', or grammar issues that I can recall. Sandbox aspect is minimal, and only appears later in this season. It just allows you to have some extra options for interacting with various team members located around rooms in the outpost. The only thing that irritated me was the Warlord/Peacemaker MC paths. If you wanted to go the good guy route, those choices would always leave you and your team in unnecessary danger from the baddies.

I have some real problems with Main character and him weeping and crying. It's infuriating in a world where what, 90% of all people are dead. You'd grow hair on chest, on the bawls even! as a woman, in world where you'd know hundreds of people personally that are dead. But this guy, just bawls like a innocent meltdown. That's the negative, the main character is someone a moderately adjusted person that had loss in life could never relate with. It's worth -3 stars, so still clocking 4, i just love the world they're in. There's some good people around and the different characters are at least different, in aspects such as both looks and personality. But to state again, the start as agonizingly lame, he's no man and it's infuriating to see this kind of weakness. Him bawling over lost friends 2 years into the apocalypse, it is somewhat plausible the grief, but as the main character it makes him unrelatable, You (player) don't know these people 5 minutes in, they mean nothing to You, and you just left with a out of body experience. He should have written the sad sappy crap onto a macguffin, so you could relate to being supportive but not overly lame and sappy, It's a new world, people die and at this stage you'd be desensitized.

World building is top tier, very immersive and dramatic. Very impressive renders. Quite a good story, maybe some characters needed to be a bit more fleshed out. Some sex scenes were too hurried and maybe didn't have enough creativity/variety. Content quantity was good but of course we want more!

Really liked it, the beginning is a little rough in term of dialogue but it was worth it to push through, simple story in a good way doesn't try to be complicated for the sake of it (hope it stay that way), good action scene very intense, no wuss mc you can either be stone cold or pacifist with your ennemies, Spoiler: Light spoiler i would've liked a little more back story for his two friends in the beginning to be more invested but i can do without (still made me feel it in the end of the season). The visuals/lighting are really well made, the animation of the sex scene felt a little awkward at times but very good overall, the Li are good there's some really beautiful and other felt copypasted from certain facial feature of other Li like sisters but not. I hope you can come up with good ideas for season 2, keep up the great work. Thanks.

One HELL of a game, with an amazing twist, and the ending that helped ease a surprising amount of the thrill I faced when following the plot. I won't spoil it of course, but I really liked how the art was made, the story that came across, and a tastefully minimal amount of sandbox to help the narration along. The romance options were very artful and tied in perfectly with the plot, so full marks there as well. 10/10 would recommend, and will absolutely leave you hanging for the next part of the story.

Immersive story, it's not about NSFW anymore. Great job on the storywriting, I really enjoyed the story, keep on! If anyone's looking for story with NSFW element in it, this is the right one. Honestly, this is the first AVN that I really enjoy the because of the story aspect, it's so deep in the character building, the background story, etc. Good luck in future development!

[Review for S1 v0.9.9.8 ] There's a great level of visual fidelity here, but ultimately I came out of this feeling a bit disappointed with pretty much everything else. The main positives for me are the visuals, the variation in the LIs (both characterization and aesthetics), the animations, and the plot in general. But, unfortunately, the lingering impression I have of this game is that it doesn't respect my time. There's a bunch of repetitious dialogue, a ton of pointless exposition, as well as superfluous sandbox sections, but I'd say the worst time wasters are the, for lack of a better term, "idle animations." At any point during play, the dialogue and/or action will stop just so characters can blink, or casually glance around, or breathe, or any other number of this type of shifting around people normally do. These "idle animations" are not inherently bad, I think they actually add a lot of life to the game because people in real life don't just freeze when they're still, but this is not how I think they should be used. Continue the dialogue, don't stop the whole game every time someone has to blink--this is a massive waste of time. Then there's the writing. There's a lack of flow to the conversations, an unnaturalness that permeates the whole thing. For example, there are a bunch of times when the MC gets injured, and his inner monologue is him describing everything he's feeling. I don't know if you've ever been injured or in severe pain, but as someone who has, I wasn't thinking "There's a white-hot pain in my leg, and it feels like my bones turned to dust." That's how I'd describe it now , but at the time my thoughts were more along the lines of "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH FUCK IT HURTS IT HURTS FUCK!" It's just not a natural reaction to pain, stress, or panic and that's why descriptions of injuries, sensations, and actions tend to be part of the narration rather than spoken by the characters. Then there's the MC. He's probably the most boring character in the story, though he does go through arcs, but even putting him down the "Warlord" path so far has him acting like a naive idiot. Asking his enemies "Why are you doing this?!" or shouting "You betrayed us!" and other things you'd hear the average one-dimensional shōnen protagonist say. He always just mirrors what people say in conversation, maybe rephrasing it as a question, and he rarely ever expresses actual opinions or demonstrates any agency. I hope that's changing given the ending of the current version, but so far he's just been dragged around to where the plot needs him without any real choice on his part. So yeah, bottom line, it is a flawed game, but I think it's worth trying. Despite how critical I probably came across in the review, I'm going to keep my eye on it, but that's all the more reason to be critical of it. If I'm commited to seeing it through, I'd like it to be more than decent.

Survivor Strain really stands out thanks to its strong character design, especially Claire and Cyan, who are easily my favorites. The apocalypse world and story are well-built and immersive, which is something I personally love and that kept me engaged throughout. The animations are top-notch, adding a lot of polish and quality to the experience. On top of that, the MC is very enjoyable, making it easy to connect with the story and the characters. Overall, it’s a well-crafted game with great visuals, a compelling setting, and clear passion behind it.

I’ve been following this project for a bit and I have to say I'm impressed. Here’s my breakdown: Setting: It’s refreshing to see a survival story set in South America. Being a tourist caught in the "second wave" adds a layer of vulnerability to the MC that I really like. Choices: This is where the game shines. The ability to decide what kind of leader you want to be (peaceful vs. intimidating) gives it great replay value. Romance: I appreciate that the dev made romances optional. You can go the harem route or just keep things friendly, which is rare in these types of games and very much welcomed. Vibe: You can definitely feel the World War Z and Left 4 Dead inspirations in the atmosphere. Final Verdict: If you enjoy story-driven survival games where your moral compass actually matters, give this one a try. The dev is active and the project has a lot of potential. Definitely worth a look (and a Patreon sub if you can!).

This is a tough game for me to rate really. It does some things as well they can be done, and other things are mediocre at best. Visually, it's stunning. Breathtaking really. Dev has put enormous amounts of effort into making the game look great, and succeeded. It's really something to look at. And the girls are varied and appropriately attractive and desirable. The world building is good too! I was interested in what he made here! But... The writing is not great. It is obviously written by someone who doesn't speak English natively. It isn't riddled with grammatical and spelling errors, but it just flows entirely wrong. The prose is stilted. It's not the worst writing I've read here, but it leaves much to be desired. It's not just a matter of the dev picking the wrong words. It's worse than that. Some of the decision the characters make are just off. There are weird leaps of logic. They do things for odd, indiscernible reasons. It all just comes off awkwardly. Not game-breakingly awful. It just all "feels" wrong, for want of a better term. The writing is off in a way that I'm honestly not sure is fixable. While a proof-reading pass from a native English speaker or two might fix the grammatical and spelling type issues, it isn't going to fix the intrinsic issues with the plotting and pacing. A shame really, because the dev REALLY gets a lot right here.

I am absolutely blown away by the visual quality of this game. The character designs are incredibly sexy and well-crafted, making every encounter in the story feel special and exciting. It’s not just the concepts, but the textures are so detailed and smooth that they add a whole new layer of realism to the models. The renders look stunning, and you can tell a lot of work went into making the characters look as appealing as possible. The attention to detail on the skin and outfits is top-notch, which really helps with the immersion during the spicy scenes. If you enjoy games with high-quality art and characters that are genuinely eye-catching, this one is definitely worth your time. Everything looks polished, and the animations flow perfectly with the overall aesthetic.

I mean.. It looks nice.. And that's pretty much all that this game has to offer, dropped it after like an hour. The dialogues and interactions between the characters are uninteresting and fake. Why does a character in her 2nd interaction with the MC tells her whole sob story a minute into a conversation?

I find the story entertaining, and I also love the designs of the female characters. The types of infected are interesting, and the morally challenging choices are fantastic. A beautiful game; I give it a 10/10.

Great game that deserves more reviews than it has, great character development though the whole game, lots of fighting but just as much perverse stuff, perfect blend! It also has a unique style with their own renders, i only ask for more!

Great game. Simple yet very effective story, classic apocalyptic setting but everything is simply well done. Amazing renders, awesome scenes, great vartiety in type of girls. If I had to critique something, maybe adding more choices that matter more, and less streamlined sex scenes. But all around a very good VN and a veryunderrated one for some reason
yeetermcgee123 2025-07-17
3.5* rounding down though Graphics are pretty good. Story is solid. Good number of player options without it branching to the point where theres no way to finish developing all the branches. Decent amount of content relative to how long its been in development. Its not very polished though i.e. spelling mistakes. Also some scenes where it goes "Hi, Im MC" - its clear the game hasn't undergone much editing. The biggest flaw though is that there are just way too many characters. As a result there is very little depth to any of the characters and its hard to care about any of the characters. And this problem is getting worse, every chapter adds more and more.

2.5 / 5 I dropped this game after a few hours. The graphics are impressive, but the writing is mediocre, and there's really nothing here apart from the writing. After several hours there was no gameplay, no choices, no sex scenes - even the pre-scripted action scenes are just walls of text with an updated character pose each slide. Credit where it's due, the creators clearly put a lot of effort into the game. There's lots of high quality models and unique animations. It's just that I never found any reason to care about anything they're showing. It's all just too juvenile and self-serious. I'll take good writing over good graphics any day.

The visuals are fantastic, sure, but honestly the writing is so mediocre that the LIs aren't compelling at all, let alone the MC / main story. Action and sex scenes are unrealistic - even by porn logic standards - and the treatment of zombie apocalypse dynamics doesn't feel thought-out. Plus there aren't any interesting consequences to your choices. It would take a rewrite by an actual writer to make this VN interesting to me, but as it stands it's more like a demo of what's possible with 3D models these days.

Real nice post-apocalyptic world, you feel the thrill in this game, from the music to story building and to the characters that you'll invested on later in the game. Characters are real good, I say one of the best in the AVN world, very unique in my opinion. All models are nicely made by the dev. MC got good looks. Love interest are all gorgeous, they're different body proportion but mostly of them is in the thicker side due to country they're in which is a latin country that known for women being on thicker side and the beauty standard is the same so props to the dev that followed the real life beauty standard and match it into the game/story itself. Story setting is amazing too, the background and the environment feels like its a apocalyptic world, my only nitpick is the super clean cars that left behind because its already abandon for years but it looks squeaky clean tho I think it is just limited asset problem, another one is zombies teeth are clean and complete which is not too immersive when you think about zombies but its understandable because of the story got lot of mutate zombies so I just think of it as just mutation, another reason could be just another limited daz asset problem. Sex scenes could improve, more fluidity in my opinion. Other than that all is clean for me. Story is great, it will grip you hard enough to get you curious on what's next. I learn some things from latin countries in the story, from how they talk to each other to how South America really like football and their intense rivalry, that's cool to me because my country we never dabble on football. Lastly, I'd say this one of the best game I've played, I highly recommend this game especially if you like badass MC, thicc girls, unique artstyle, and post-apocalypse story.

This AVN really nails the setting. It feels believable for a post-apocalyptic world—nothing over-the-top or out of place. The character models are grounded too. No massive bodybuilder types running around in a world where food and supplies are scarce. The Latina characters are especially well done. They look like real women, and the white Latinas actually resemble what you’d expect—more Iberian or Mediterranean looking, not the overly Anglo/Nordic features that too many AVNs default to. A lot of games get this wrong and end up making the girls look more like American actresses than Latinas, which kind of breaks the immersion. Here, it feels like the devs actually paid attention to ethnic and regional differences. And speaking of looks—the girls in this game look amazing. Not just in body shape, but in how their skin and faces are rendered. The skin isn’t that overly smooth, plastic-like texture you see in some AVNs. There’s actual depth and natural detail, which makes the characters feel more lifelike and way more attractive as a result. The story’s solid overall. Some of the early relationship stuff moves fast—like, a couple girls seem to fall for the MC pretty quickly—but honestly, in this setting, it kind of works. When society breaks down, people tend to gravitate toward whoever can keep them safe and lead. A competent, brave, and resourceful guy would naturally attract attention and loyalty, especially from women looking for stability in a dangerous world. So even though the pacing is quick, it feels more believable than the usual AVN "just because" romance setups. The morality system adds an interesting layer too, with the choice between Peacemaker and Warlord paths. That said, it’s a bit confusing. Your path depends on how many enemies you kill—but the people you're fighting are raiders who want to murder, steal, and kidnap. It’s not like you’re out there being ruthless for no reason, so the morality behind those choices could use a bit more nuance. That said, the game does a great job of building tension. Even if you know the MC isn’t going to die, you still find yourself wondering how he’s going to make it through the next situation. There’s real suspense, and that keeps things engaging. The ending of this first season comes a little fast, but it works as a setup for what’s next. If this is just the beginning, then there’s a ton of potential here. Definitely one of the stronger starts I’ve seen in an AVN.
