About Ghost Override
Ghost Override is a Ren'Py point-and-click visual novel by pxlWisp, using animated 3D CG art. You play a male gang leader in Ash City, heading the Lynx as it tries to claim its place in the streets. A stolen chip intended to unlock citywide surveillance won’t open, pushing you toward a reclusive hacker. That contact pulls you into a sci-fi mystery of disappearances, corporate plots, and a hidden past, while romance and cheating can develop through alliances.
The current build is v0.1, released April 3, 2026, and development is ongoing. It is available for Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, in English, with no censorship. The v0.1 release adds 722 rendered images, twelve animated sequences, three adult scenes, and one free-roam area.
Developer's description
You are the respected leader of the Lynx, a rising gang carving its place in Ash City. When a stolen chip meant to give you access to a city-wide surveillance network refuses to yield, you’re forced to seek help from a reclusive hacker. Spoiler This meeting draws you into a mystery involving unexplained disappearances and corporate conspiracies that seem connected to your own secret past. Temptation is never far, and the alliances you form can grow into something deeper and more intimate, if you choose to let them.
