Greyvale Rivalry

5 stars because the sandbox tag initially turned me off and thought it would become a hassle and be the identity of the game but it wasn't a problem (its more of a free roam and only happens once so far). It gave clear hints/checklist in the phone along with the "fast travel" so I appreciated that. The Grey Dream already had some of my favourite AVN visuals so that was already the main attractor for me and it lived up to my expectations with even better models. I'm a sucker for college settings so story is also an upgrade IMO since I'm already invested in the plot going forward.

Review for Ep.1. Renders The character designs all look human and unique, with beauty marks and facial flaws. The lighting and reflections are amazingly done. Animations 4/5 animations, only losing 1 point cuz well the usual loop. But they still look amazing, you have an option to switch angles before progressing the scene. The angles are very hot too with arches and curves emphasized. Writing The writing is fresh and keeps you hooked, especially the direction of the story and how it starts. The characters all feel very much like their own people. Even the side "bros" seem charismatic with their own motivations. There are a lot of characters so that's a plus, the MC has good humor. Does draw some parallels to BADIK. Story The story basically sets up a rivalry in ep 1. there's D&D which I love when they include it in games. All the girls have their own goals and there are wholesome moments where we can support them. The "oh boys usually just shrug when I talk" seems a tiny bit overused but I wouldnt be surprised if some girls have those experiences irl. Gameplay and UI The UI is decent. The phone can be done better though, especially the social media app in the game, you have to do a lot of backtapping to see everything on people's profiles. There are lil games included which I find cute, there is a lack of render wallpapers though which is a shame. The quick travel in free roam also doesn't stick to the room you are currently in, and makes you scroll all the way every single time. Kinks The game so far has: Sex (duh). Facials, deepthroats, threesome, cougar, risky/semi public, anal.

A very high-quality game. I would say that one of its biggest strengths is the wide variety of female characters, although I imagine that in the future some will become main characters and others secondary ones. In any case, the story is progressing very well.

EP1 such a great start, seeing how the game begin i can see it a lot of potencial to become one of the greatest around here. Models are awesome, animations are top and really well done, football ups i mean soccer theme is something i feel refreshing on this kind of college stories. The first hot scenes are awesome and i really enjoyed the writing. To point some cons, im worried about such a huge cast, it could become a problem but i hope it wont and the phone stuff felt a bit improvable... With that being said, best luck to the dev and i cant wait to see more of this game!

A college experience from hell with an over the top rivalry, that's much more kids in little school than college. The opening free roam kicks you in the balls straightaway and things don't get much better from there. Everything feels like it's trying too hard from the college experiences, to the humour and nothing feels natural, just odd. The rivalry scenes are just tedious. Why can't we have stay out of it or have a not interested option? Your supposed 'best friend' is a twat that puts you in an awful position and then leaves you unconscious outside. What a guy! Luckily your roommate appears to be a good replacement for him and the LIFT scene is easily the best in the chapter. The writing and render quality is okay, particularly away from the faux sports drama but most of the LI's aren't that great looking, so it's slim pickings out there and for some reason in the obligatory cliché co-ed shower scene, you get the tattooed druggie - no thanks. There are some good things in here (roommate/LIFT, classes, art school, bar scene) but the whole is distinctly average (free roams, sports drama, the jocks frat house, drags things down). Hopefully the next chapter will be better with more time in classes, at the art school and friends/relationships away from the sports.

Greyvale Rivalry [Ep.1] - 4.6 / 5 Reminds me of old College TV shows that Hollywood used to make So the story is about a football player that gets a scholarship to play soccer... well football but of some reason the Egg Ball players stole the name because it sounded cooler. His best friend gets him into a football party and tells him to not say a word that he is a soccer player, so our MC mingles, drinks, and you can even get a nice BJ scene with 2 cheerleaders in the Beast, you will understand when you play. Now the nice addition to the story is the LIFT service, and I myself at some point was forklift certified back in college but I never thought of providing that service, damn I want to go back now, I would be rich, rich I say. My gripe with this game is that all the girls look like they are in their 30's almost 40's, aren't college girls in their early 20's why do they all look so old, because that cougar that you definitely will reject and not bang her ass even though there will be harsh consequences in the future, even MC says that she is late 30's early 40's but she looks a bit older then the other students. The story is decent, the hook that got me is that it reminded me of Blue Mountain State TV show, heck MC look like Alex Moran but smarter and the team captain is quite close to Thad Castle both in looks and leading the team in most hardcore ways. Spoiler: Note to developer There were some glitches that I want to mention: when Lawsone hugs Lindsy where did Lindsy hands vanished ? When you have sex with Mellisa (cougar) why is MC saying this "You feel fucking incredible. College boys have improved since my day" , something tells me that Mellisa should be the one saying that line Final Verdict: Worth the play, has more content in 1 episode then many other games provide in a year. It also is a strong contender to the DiK's but still to early to tell.

Great renders. The story is mostly alright, even though the rivalry between the two teams is a bit cartoonish and is taken far too seriously. My main issue with the game so far is that almost everyone in the cast speaks exclusively in "witty banter," and that gets progressively more annoying with each new character that we are introduced to. I don't mind if only a few characters talk like that, or if the banter is spread across multiple lines of actual dialogue. Unfortunately, it feels like every other line has to be some sort of sarcastic remark or clever comment. If you've ever watched a show or movie where the lines just feel fake or forced, that is what most of the dialogue in this game is like. I think that leaving the dialogue as is during the party sequence would be fine, but I think the devs should take a look at rewriting the dialogue after the scene because no human speaks the way these characters talk to each other.

Without any obvious comparisons to the front runners this entry to the college game genre is VERY well done, mindblowing.. havent enjoyed a college genre release since the (other) front runner.. music is addictive, humor and writing is excellent and well written, visuals are top notch and i'm hyped to see the future of this.. My only 'concern' if you can call it one is the SHEER AMOUNT of potential love interests introduced just during the party alone.. itsgonna drive HAREM game fans insane and those who dont like doing too many replays to get all routes.. yes some may be considered mains and other side characters but even still if they had such a amount of screen time you have to think that maybe there is more to come from them in the future.. then you can seperate the 'class' types by cheer team, vollyball squad, and then the generals (non affiliated with the prior two but still have their own social circles regardless) i may have missed a few as i was saving pages for each LI potential route but i was close to 16-18 characters/Save pages done before the end and with the potential to add staff and randoms yet to be met to that its looking a HUGE task for the dev team to maintain so many characters which is the part that does concern me if we look at how long pinkcake takes between updates and authors like Ocean then the nervous sweat of when we will see results again tend to creep in.. Overall again this is an EXCELLENT entry and one i'm going to follow, patreon and all that jazz and i just hope that the dev team can maintain the quality and hope for this project as it continues to grow

im really digging the story its a massive step up from the grey dream the pacing is fun it doesnt drag or get tedious and it flows really well so far the render quality was always top tier anyway wouldnt expect anything less from grey studio but theyve definitely polished it even more that said im not really into sandbox mechanics so that part was a bit of a bummer for me other than that its a super solid intro i hope they keep this momentum going learn from their missteps and patch out the unnecessary tedious parts in future updates thats the reason im dropping a 5 star rating for now

PROS: - See my opinions section for details. Impressed with the settings of the UI, giving a good UX through independent audio volumes, opacity (which is often omitted). Navigation is good, has quick menu which helps get around, makes sandbox, bearable. Audio is good, music seems decent, fitting, there are some interactive sounds, enough to provide good immersion. Visuals are high quality, renders are good, world is fleshed out nicely and detailed. Character models are attractive and sexy, good quality renders, clear and has good lighting. MC look young but has scruff to show he isn't a teenager anymore. Characters feel unique, even if they are in their respective cliche roles, the MC being a more stoic character, best pal being the one getting into mischief, the angry chick, the shy one, the social butterfly, the skanks etc, they all fill their roles well at least. Story has actually a different twist that is good even if obvious early on. Writing is structured, reads well, has good flow and not bloated. Animations in general are pretty good. CONS: - See my opinions section for details. POV on the story and how its told can be a bit jarring and oddly scripted, e.g. intro of the 2 years ago and present felt way too short to really matter, why bother when there was no text really to go with it. Added to the above, the MC and his friend Dave are not introduced well if at all at the start, while this is not a deal breaker, it is a little jarring and has the reader on the back foot a bit to put things together. Scene is kinda been done before too many times, the whole college shtick is getting old. At least there is a little spin on things. OPINIONS, SUGGESTIONS & FINAL REMARKS : NOTE: The following remarks are my personal opinions and thoughts, which may provide more context and could be useful to the developer. (Read them or don't) While I appreciate this AVN, its very good, I am concerned that they (dev) focus on something new when A Grey Dream has not yet been completed and its development is not exactly fast either... Nice little details in how the phone is managed, the interactions and how it promoted immersion and does not feel too much like an extra chore to play the game. I am a bit tired of this genre and plot, at least that it falls into too common and too often used tropes. Its entertaining, but not "good" in terms of any unique story. Tiny gripe but something I noted, is Dave when you see him the first time, looks slightly built, the MC however looks fairly similar. Later they both look pretty much exactly the same in build. It just makes me question the retort Dave gave the MC at start about needing to bulk up when they look the same...not sure if here was a discrepancy or Dave was always smaller? Just a mention and wondering about consistency in the game with character looks... Would like the Esc button to close or back out of the phone, at least that would be quicker for nav. TLDR: Well polished, high quality AVN done very well, but with a premise that is not new or very interesting, at least when it comes to the setting and vibe, the plot however has a little more intrigue that is good. Its simply entertaining to watch and play even if its fairly predictable and filled with familiar tropes, cliches and character archetypes. If you a fan of games like Being a DIK then this is right up there.

The animations, textures, and especially the lighting look polished and cinematic The story feels fresh with new, interesting personalities of the characters instead of the usual clichés,The LIs are beautiful and genuinely unique and the slow-burn romance is done perfectly. Another absolute hit by the dev! So, this one is definitely going into my TOP tier list.

Very intrigued here, 4.5 stars is what I really would have given but alas here we are. Lots of characters who seem to written well so far at least. Free roam could have been better had a hard time and gave up on finding objects and the stoners. Otherwise I feel like the animations are good, dialogue is at worst decent, and there is some mystery/intrigue. I'm much more excited about this versus the dev's other AVN but worry about dev time due to working on two AVN's at once
