About Hard Edge
Hard Edge is a 3D animated rhythm game made by TurbineClaw in Unreal Engine. It started as a small project for the Strawberry Jam 9 game jam, built around Sexy Quad units and their behavior. The player works with simple scoring while the units move through alleyways and club areas, driven by client satisfaction and the need to stay usable. In the lore, the original company replaces old Quads instead of repairing them, so the units try to maintain themselves to avoid becoming too broken and missing the HARD EDGE again.
The current build is v1.0, released on March 10, 2025. It is a finished Windows game in English, with no censorship. TurbineClaw describes it as a first project used to learn game development and implement many features, so some bugs may remain. The creator does not intend to return to the project for tweaks or updates.

A basic behavior simulation for the Sexy Quad units. Originally for the 'Strawberry Jam 9' jam. This is a simple rhythm game with a scoring system. This project was to figure out overall game development and how to implement a lot of features. There may be a few bugs, but im not intending to return to the project to tweak or update. This is my first game, let me know if there are any major issues. Lore dump for anyone interested in what the Quads are... The Quads roams in alleyways and around clubs, programmed to be driven by client satisfaction, they anticipate passing regulars to fulfill their purpose. The original company doesn't repair old quads as its more cost effective to just produce a new line.The quads develop to self maintain in fear of being too broken to be used and not feel the HARD EDGE again.
