Harem Collector: Blackjack and Hookers

Loved this game as it released over the years, and now I'm glad to see fans picking it up to maybe continue development on the same path that the original dev had it on. We may not get the same feverish pace of development that the early versions had, but I'm glad to see development at all! For anyone who is new to this game, it is a mashup of in-depth turn based RPG mechanics and harem porn visual novel. You can go from expansive quests with seriously difficult fights, to walking around your mansion fucking everything with a pulse with art to go along with it as you please. Along with that there is base-building for your several mansions and houses you unlock with furniture to go with it that changes how ALL of your girls feel about where they live. I can't recommend it enough, with a caveat or two. If you don't care about the gameplay and just want the porn, make sure you use the wiki for quests and set the difficulty to easy. There is a mix of 2D art and 3DCG, with 2D art slowly replacing 3DCG over the years. There is no source for the old 3DCG scenes if that is what you prefer, other than going and downloading older archived versions before the 3DCG started getting phased out. There are also mods for the game, but I believe the forum for them is defunct and the only place to get them now is from the game's discord.

Review of v0.57.1 Would I recommend? Only if you're looking for a rpg game, not a porn primary game. Gameplay: 3.5/5 Animation: n/a Art: 2.5/5 Sfx: 1/5 (no effects during scenes, just music) Story: 3/5 I played the original game 7+ years ago and it still has the same pros and cons. It's a fun and original idea to fill a mansion with girls that you manage all while questing for more. It's a fun loop of doing a quest, getting a girl, and getting rewarded with a scene, which you can break from any time to manage your mansion and progress the girls you already have. The problem is that the art isn't stellar, the scenes feel too short, and there's no sound or animation to liven things up. Overall it's a game that is mostly gameplay with subpar fapping material sprinkled in. Art is subjective though, so if it looks good to you then I can say the gameplay supporting the scenes is worthwhile.

I will be watching this with interest. Years ago this was the first truly great game that gave me days after day of content. It managed to hide the portions that weren't done behind a fairly large world. (how many RPGM games have multiple complete cities which you travel to over and over again over the course of the campaign? Probably at least 7, but my point is that many don't.)

I loved this game, thanks to God is back with more Hookers! In the past in old days there was so much to do with less than 200mb now that games don't last even 30 minutes with that space. This game is a reminder of the golden age where games are long and great with minimal space.
