It's definitely worth playing. It's not a bad game by any means. Tons of kinks and various H scenes. But it's not great anywhere either. The story is just a bunch of mashed up stories that aren't really connected and the flow of it is just bad and really hard to follow along with. You never really feel immersed into this world. The music is just 3 songs that you will mute after a few hours in. The game play is just a bunch of tedious tasks mainly going door-to-door and finding which girl wants to *talk*. The animations are ok; the girls are really hot, and you should end up caring about a few of them. But all of it is kinda dated graphics wise nowadays. The H scenes are mostly just 1 or 2 short animations, they are well done but just way too short. Overall, I suggest giving Harem Hotel a shot. It has ALOT of content. Just dont expect a masterpiece by the high ratings or you will end up dissapointed.

I came for Porn, I stayed for "holy fuck, i love you all so much" (& porn) When I started playing Harem Hotel I did not know how much I would come to love this game and the Love Interests. I just finished Version 0.19.1. I was kinda swept away with how good the writing was (it gets better the farther you progress everyones stories). I have cried about 9 times while playing this game, there´s been only two other games on this site that managed to bring me to tears. I deeply care about every single resident in the hotel (and most of their friends), which is a sign of good writing to me. Completion of the game took me 27 and 1/2 hours. Gameplay You play as a hotel Manager(as the name suggests) and will meet some of the goodest girls who ever existed, you will get to watch them grow, learn how they became the way they are, each girl (except for the twins) has their own distinct sometimes exciting sometimes very sad backstory. At the start you´ll earn a bit of money through the rent of your residents but will find better option in the explorable city and through upgrades. You can also make pin ups of the girls and sell those. You will have to view some scenes a couple of times to progress, so here it is a good thing those scenes don´t drag out. Sex Scenes They´re good, like really good, albeit often a bit short for my taste. The girls are into a variety of lewd stuff, if its bdsm, breeding, some give footjobs, some are more submissive some are more assertive, pet play, yada yada yada. The point is if something you are into is listed in the tags there will be several good scenes with girls you will start to actually care about(if you have a heart and are able to care deeply for fictional characters) waiting for you. Fazit I´m very excited about how the girls storylines will continue and hope that when it truly ends it will be with everyone being able to fully enjoy the family they became. Every single one of them deserves it. I rate this game 4,8 stars rounded up to 5. The only reasons it´s not a full five from me are that the game is not finished yet and I would like a lot of the sex scenes to be like a minute longer.

from what i've played (haven't finished the playthrough of version 0.19.1) I cant say i found anything that appealing. Gameplay is very repetitive grind for money combined with occasional event, where it finely describes the world and settings, tho it didn't brought me in in any moment of playing. Characters are fine - the elf girls are sub because they are slaves so I get lack of some detailed personification there, rest however feel just as surface as the elf's settings, making the individual conversations just fill to make the individual relationships have some type of progression. Still, for mobile focused games it ain't bad. the game offers a good amount of content as well as fine graphic settings so mainly a personal miss regarding what i find making adult games good.

good story with many scenes , good art and effects. many different ways to complete the outcome of this "game". exploring will get you out of most stuck situations. jen is especially a hard nut to crack in this version. haven't got her yet , but will keep trying to find her pill.

Best game i played so far, town activities are not much but the game seems endless while meeting / dating the girls. Wish i had more than this or similar with more fetish options. It´s pretty more than i expected and i expect alot.

Absolutely amazing game have been playing since first release and i cant wait for the next update with all of the new system changes keep up the good work runey. if i had to change one thing i would add a few new characters that is really the only thing i would add.

This game has a pretty unique story, with a ton of likeable characters that you actually feel relatively connected too, game has A TON of content too, only gripe is that it takes forever between updates, but every update to add new content so i guess it's worth the wait

This was the first AVN I ever played, and I'll always be nostalgic for it - overall it's a great game for the first half of a playthrough and slowly declines as you make progress. The main selling point is the sheer length and amount of content, but a story-heavy game being this long needs to be handled very carefully or you will lose a lot interest in the second half of the game. An example of this: the character Ashley begins as a high-energy, immature, horny woman; often times being bat-shit crazy to the point of scaring other characters. If she became your favorite character for these reasons - surprise! She drops those traits as you progress through her story and she develops into a more vanilla personality. This is true for many of the characters, due to the length of the story, all of whom change as you keep progressing. Funny enough, there are at least 3 side characters who become more appealing than most of the main characters. Maybe this is a good thing, there are still a solid amount of interactions with side characters, but man the game would be much better if Nia and Kate had more prominent roles. The visuals of the game are outdated, and the free roam/money management can be tedious. None of this is enough to outweigh the interesting characters and good story though.

I generally agree with most reviewers so far. This game is pretty good. It starts off strong. You have several different characters and they each have personality. Towards the end, this start getting slowed down and there is a bit too much reading. Good - 1. There is a plot. Most porn games have some plot but the plot here is pretty strong. 2. The art is quite good. I think it is done in honey select. But there are animations and some variety. It can sometimes feel repetative with the limited number of positions, but I like it. 3. Harem. I like harem games. 4. What to do is pretty obvious. There is not much to figure out when playing. You just click on different doors and select what you want to do with the person in the room. 5. Lots of content. There are probably a dozen animations for each character and lots of story so if you are looking to spend time, there is a lot of time you can spend in this. Bad - 1. Walls of text. Sometime the storys get really long and there is just pages and pages and pages of dialogue which which feels more like exposition than a story. 2. World feels small. In the story you supposedly fly to other continents and such. But there is no real world you interact with. No city map or anything. Maybe some more of a world is developed past where I have gotten to yet. 3. Sometimes gets a little too heavy. But the game is good. It was worth my time and the art is good.

I don't usually leave reviews but after playing this game I had to leave one. The writing is exceptional and the fact that the game has sandbox elements makes the game an absolute 10 out 10. tl;dr it's very good with no major issues, though a few minor niggling ones Spoiler I really enjoyed Harem Hotel. All of the main characters are a lot of fun with distinct personalities and some variety in body types, the latter being something I appreciate a lot as many games in this style I've tried are very samey visually. They're all really quite endearing. The sex itself is mostly pretty vanilla but still a bit kinky with some of the group sex and BDSM options and a lot of the scenes are hot. There's a lot of content here in terms of both story and sex so I imagine if and when the game is complete there'll be a huge amount of interesting stuff. The story itself is competently written, there's not much depth there but it carries the characters forward well for the most part. The only two issues in the game are both very subjective - the MC and the sandbox itself. I understand the appeal of having a self-insert template for the MC but given that there aren't many options to choose from in the game and the fact that none of them really affect the story in any meaningful way an actual written character might have served better. As is isn't horrible or anything but that's just how I feel. As far as the sandbox goes I feel like it could use more flags - again, I understand the appeal of having a sandbox but when all the girls happily fall into the harem allowing the player to tackle whatever they want in (mostly) whatever order they want has created a lot of little inconsistencies that are pretty much impossible to avoid, especially on a first playthrough and especially given some girls appear in other characters stories well after they join the hotel. As an example two sisters join the hotel and by the time I got to the point in Ashley's story where they were being bitchy to her they had already made up with and become good friends with her - I imagine this wouldn't have been the case had I been following the game from development as I'd have been well caught up on Ashley's story by the time they were introduced but even though I put effort into trying to keep everyone mostly at a level for most of my playthrough this sort of thing still happened a lot. It doesn't bother me much but I figure it's worth mentioning and might bother others. On the subject of flags there is one thing I'd really appreciate and that would be the addition of some branches here and there for flavour. There's one example I can think of where this actually happens right at the start where Lin has differing dialogue if you tell her to call you by your name instead of something like "master". It would be nice if other slaves you do the same thing for reacted similarly rather than as if you told them to call you something degrading, and maybe there could be some branching responses for other common pet names/nicknames per character. It's obviously not a huge problem that there's nothing else like that so this isn't really a criticism or anything but little touches like that are always really fun and appreciated and it stuck out to me that there's a bunch of instances where you could have stuff like that but don't.

I never imagined a hgame could be this content-rich, and I'm still sure it hasn't reached its full potential. Each character has such an enjoyable story individually, and the customizations are so good that I can't tear myself away.

I love the game, but I wish it had more of the fun casual moments like the start, all of the new content is so serious and about slavery and overthrowing the goverment, can't we just have some fun sex anymore?

[0.19.1] 3.5/10 The sand to box ratio is crooked. THE GOOD Absurd amount of content. Pleasant music choices. Some of the side characters are genuinely great. THE NEUTRAL Spelling is usually pretty good, but the punctuation is somewhat sloppy. The UI isn't great but not terrible either. Graphics are somewhat dated yet serviceable. Faceless MC isn't the worst thing ever. THE BAD Let me preface this review by saying that this isn't my first time playing Harem Hotel. I had a fairly good run a couple of years back, and back then I considered it a great game (8/10 territory). Since then we've gotten many amazing games, some of which tackle the 'management' story way, way better. Now, onto my actual pain points. Pacing falls off a cliff fast. Due to its open-ended nature, Harem Hotel is more akin to a loose collection of stories and interactions, rather than a single coherent story with its arcs and subplots. Your main goal in the game is... to exist, I guess? In the 14,5 hours I spent in the current playthrough, not once did I feel like I'm advancing anything. You are given an access to a hotel (more of an apartment complex, but okay) with some cash, and absolutely no reason to do anything but make money. Add to it that, on multiple occasions, the characters appear in places they shouldn't be in or know people you haven't yet met. At least two or three characters started as no-names, moved to having the name for some reason, then back to being nobodies until you get their proper introduction. For example, Juliet (or was it Harriet...?), one of Ashley's classmates, appears fairly early on in said classroom, but then you completely ignore her existence until she's bundled with Kate (who is sadly only a side LI). And yes, I'm aware she's supposed to be invisible, but MC makes no remarks whatsoever and just learns her name from a lucky guess in a fortune cookie. MC might as well not exist. I can forgive the faceless take on the HoneySelect MC (they aren't particularly handsome), but the fact that this man represents absolutely NOTHING throws me off big time. He is literally a Fallout character with its intelligence set to 0 - stumbling his way through any 'conversation' (if we can even call them that) with nothing more than a half-formed sentence. He's as flavorful as bottled water left in the car for a bit too long. Another insulting aspect is that your choices are literally Fallout 4: Yes. Yes, I agree. (+ 1 Affection Point) Also yes, but maybe no. (- 1 Affection Point) You can't be a straight up dominating asshole because when one of your girlies get mad (oh noes), you HAVE TO buy her a gift to proceed with the plot. You can't be a submissive agreeable twink, either, because, well, you can't. Everyone is supposed to fall in love with you, end of topic. Ungodly amount of fluff. As I was thinking about this review, I realised why this game just doesn't feel... fun. It's because your main LIs are basically Pokémons. They have close to a dozen bars you can fill up with various activities. It's like trying to form an attachment with an Excel spreadsheet - it just doesn't fucking work. But you know what does work? Side LIs. They don't have a service history like it's a 2005 Toyota Camry, they just... work. You are not obligated to grind watching TV, going to the beach, or spending time in the very same cafe. They are the most engaging and well written characters in the entire game just because you don't have to worry about Affection being too low, or the moon phase being incorrect, or whatever other forced bullshit roadblock the developer decided to put there. I could go on for much, much longer how many of the core elements just don't work here, but this shall suffice.

This game is essential viewing for AVN fans. In fact it was the first game I ever played. Probably for the best because idk if I'd have the patience for it now. My recommendation, use hacks to unlock unlimited money. This allows you to avoid grinding and spending anxiety. The characters are super awesome. The stories offer a nice variety. This game is so fun. I can't wait to see what comes next for this creator.

Be prepared for a long game with a huge amount of content. MC's kind and empathetic guy, but not too talkative. No hobbys, no passions, no charisma, no knowledge. Just a boring "infertile" dude with big dick and hotel, who's getting overwhelmed in almost every conversation. It's ALMOST always LIs taking initiative, if it comes to plot and he's just a boring support. He'd better fit being sub or friend zoned instead of having harem and is in my top2 worst MCs I ever played in harem games. Sometimes I even forget MC exists. He is mute in dozens of events that need 15+ minutes reading, because he's just standing and observing. World is a mix of modern and fantasy with partially (mostly for elves) rough dystopian settings. For a long time there's not much of a story. You could expect MC fighting against slavery or maybe mystery about grandfather, but no, he just inherit a hotel, need to manage it and assist LIs in THEIR projects which comes in much later part of the game. And by assisting I mean being a driver, wallet, shoulder for tears or very occasionally a guy to point a gun. UI is quite poor. Every room have to be opened by clicking on door and they aren't named, even when you move cursor on it, so you need to learn which door is to which room and where you can expect LI that you're looking for, because there are no NPC icons on them as well. There aren't many rooms, but updates aren't often, so you'll most likely need to learn it again each update. Events happen in unpredictable places and you usually don't have hints at end of previous event, so I highly recommended to use additional walkthrough. Otherwise, you'll just spend half of the time to roam every room, and the only hints of where to look for you'll have is colored portrait at new day screen and exclamation mark in info page that means available event. There are also some timeline or logic issues, especially in later updates. You can expect situations like NPCs not knowing about each other, when they actually met in other LI subplot or different hair styles, before event with hair change. The management part and making money isn't hard, but beginnings are annoying as there aren't many ways to earn cash. Just small passive income and deliveries/bowling/selling photos/garden. Better money starts with upgraded bar, but it still don't really compensate investing in it until it's fully upgraded. My suggestion is to rush for garden and bar just after second floor and fully upgrade them both. If you don't want to use cheats of course. There are varied amount of nice LIs, that at beginning don't feel too unique and not really have much character. Progress of LIs is either very slow or immediate. No matter how much they say they want to change and how they want to be better, they stay the same until some shock therapy when everything changes immediately in one or two events. Don't get me wrong, I like when LIs have flaws, nobody's ever perfect and I don't want boring one dimensional LIs, so it's still very good cast. There's only one exception. Maria . Always talking how she wants family, how she wants to be a good and successful woman, how she admire good women, but at the end she's trying to corrupt others, show tits for free drinks or lick stranger girls out of harem. I don't mind camgirls (as long as they cover face), but she's just a slut full of bullshit and scene with "deflowering" Hana made me hate her, which didn't change even after what hapenned with her later. I'm also not the biggest fan of pacing in this game. Girls jump on MCs dick too fast. Not on first encounter, but it needs just few small events and they blow MC or impale themselves on him, even when they're "virgins" (yeah, don't expect blood). Pacing is too fast for my taste and there's no conquering part, which makes most of LIs boring very fast. Many "bonding" and dates looks just like monologues. Girls just talk about them or histories from their lifes. It's not really a good dialogue, when MC just asks or answers questions and girls talk dozen times more. At one hand it results in learning a lot about them, but at other... you just may stop taking care very early, like I did. Don't get me wrong, this game have some nice and deep moments and it's getting better in later part of the game, but they're quite rare, and still, mostly in a form of monologues or interrogations. Be also warned that there are few side LIs you'll find fucking with other guys before they're yours. If it comes to visuals, LIs are good looking with diversed bodies and pretty faces. Seriously, I'm glad it's not another game with only overgrown boobs. And if there's anything to complain about varied Lis... I wish pixies aren't only for plot purposes. Animations are smooth and simple. There's sex in many positions, but it lacks finesse. Don't expect animations with cumming inside, just traditional white screen. No complex moves, cut scenes (few exceptions) or cum dripping. Regular moves, but with good precision and quality. Don't also expect any sound effects. Only some, mostly calm and climatic, music. It took me too much time to finish this game and had to play few others meanwhile as there were boring moments. Also, the longer I have played, the lower my rate was, until one moment when it started getting better, but I was tired already and lost most of my affection for characters. This product may attract many players and I guess several years ago it was 5/5, but now gaming market is much bigger and it makes this game just fine. Still, if you expect a nice and quick fuck, this one may be for you. If you expect something more and you aren't fan of monologues or interrogations, you'll most likely be disappointed or will need to play very long through mediocre content to get into something better. I'm torn between 3 and 4. Perfect would be 3,5, but it's not an option, so due to maths, I'm rating this one with 4 stars. And with better MC more involved PERSONALLY into the story, it could be 4,5/5.

Perfect game, just perfect. The characters are vast and leaves nothing to be desired. The writing is amazing and well done. And the worldbuilding is by far one of the most impressive aspects of this game and my favorite part of it. its just that good.

They are not caricatures of desire, but personalities: charming, flawed, funny, and occasionally disarmingly human. Yes, the game indulges in variety — a broad spectrum of tastes and fantasies — but it does so with confidence and purpose. Nothing feels careless; every path feels like part of a greater whole. It is, quite simply, a world built with care. I would not call it perfect, nor even groundbreaking. But it is alive — the work of someone who loves what they make and respects the people who play it. After all these years, I find myself still returning, still curious, still impressed. And that, perhaps, says more than any score ever could.

this is the first ever adult game i played back in 2020, lore went really deep, girls are cute, animation is good, sometimes repetitive in the affection/love xp process but still much enjoyable, thank you for introducing me to this world <33

Man, the story in this game is a total roller coaster and still not even being close to being finished, and definitely not what I expected when I started playing the game. --- edit: I played to the completion of v19.1 since my initial review and lowered my initial review substantially... the story gets way, way too contrived towards the end and I honestly space-spammed through the overwhelming majority of it. It is neither interesting nor well paced. The story just isn't about you , the main character in the harem porn game, at all. --- Many of the flaws for the game come from discontinuity issues (characters appearing in other character's stories that either shouldn't be present, act weird, or the stories are presented out of order) and it being very annoying to make money when large purchases really hamstring your ability to continue the story arcs. When you play it like a VN, it nudges you to play it like a game to see some of the options for various activities (for example, Pixel can do a hot spring scene early on totally nude if you get her certain stats) which really breaks the general flow of the game. This is similar to my issue with having to make money to progress the game. I'm actually concerned the game will end up being too large for a lot of the continuity kinks to be worked out fully by the time it reaches 1.0, and the fact that I have over 20 hours sunk into it without completing the main story for all characters is absolutely wild to me for this type of game. Anyway, the game is pretty good. It becomes way less of a sex game later on. I haven't touched my Dungeon in like 100 days because there little point, which is a shame.
