About Hidden Files

Hidden Files is a Ren'Py visual novel by LyaNTR, presented with 2D and AI CG artwork. You play a male protagonist, an ex-firefighter made paraplegic by a work accident. He is dealing with guilt and a sense of uselessness. His wife Selena remains close to him, then tells him she has taken a job in another city. To make sure he is cared for, she arranges for her friend Clara to help. The story establishes his trauma, the couple’s bond, and the circumstances that lead to later conflict. The netorare path is unavoidable.

Development is ongoing in the current build, Chapter 11 version 11.7, released on October 6, 2026. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, with English text and no censorship. The latest update adds an expansion to the main story and further development of the netorare route. Earlier Chapter 11 parts also introduced new routes, characters, a phone addition, remade images, and bug fixes, but the newest entry focuses on broadening the plot and route content.

Developer's description

MC (a former firefighter who became paraplegic after an on-duty accident) struggles with feelings of guilt and uselessness. His wife, Selena, stays by his side and reveals she got a new job in another city, but will ensure he’s cared for by hiring her friend Clara. The chapter establishes the trauma, the couple’s relationship, and sets the stage for future changes and conflicts NTR is not avoidable
