About Husk

Husk is an adult point-and-click sandbox made by Oldboy with Ren'Py and animated 2D CG visuals. It follows Red, a man hired to restore a dying motel in a harsh, sun-bleached desert town. He expects quick money and a new beginning, but familiar people from his past arrive looking for shelter, while local residents seem to know dangerous secrets and move close around him. The story mixes horror and humor as Red tries to protect his wages, his sanity, and the guests he promised to keep safe.

The current v0.0.2 build is a demo, and development continues. Released September 6, 2026, it runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, is in English, and is uncensored. The latest update centered on new content for Nadine, a character added after community suggestion. Oldboy tested branching paths for errors and asked players to report bugs. Future releases may expand her scenes.

In a sun-bleached, forsaken sliver of desert, Join Red, hired to revive a failed Motel with promises of quick cash and a fresh start. Familiar faces from his past arrive, seeking shelter. But the locals know the town’s secrets. They circle close. Will Red keep his head, his paycheck, and the people he swore to shield from the desert?

v0.0.2 Finally done with the update, it felt kind of rushed the release, I played the game testing out the paths for errors, let me know if you run into one. This update focuses on content with the new gal whom I've named Nadine from one of you guy's suggestion. I thought it fit her well. Let me know if you want to see more content with her. Perhaps leaning into more of the sex worker themes in later releases. Demo Initial Release
