I Wish I Had Never Gone into the Dungeon

Maybe worth 3 stars if you play with the dungeon mechanics turned off but: The good: Art: 3/5 stars. It's AI. You know it's AI. It's passable. There was some effort put in for consistency between scenes. It's not really a stand out feature of the game but it may be the best feature The game's gameplay features can be turned off. Dear god that does not bode well when that is a pro. The meh: Story: 2/5 stars It's not particularly inspired. It's a lot of reading. Given the prominence of AI in the rest of the game and the amount of dialogue, it was probably written by AI. Which to its credit is mostly decently put together for what I bothered to read before getting bored with the story. It's fairly bog standard NTR tropes. It feels pointlessly slow in some places and porn-signature fast in others. If you haven't experienced any better slowburn games that weren't a "girls are insta-corrupted by big dick bull", then it might be an engaging story. Beyond that the only standout is that the bull doesn't seem like a totally unapologetic asshole with a magic dick and endless libidio but a more genuine human that owns up to his flaws and womanizing behavior as "what he is but not necessarily acceptable" (with a magic dick and endless libidio). The terrible: Game mechanics/gameplay: 0/5 stars In their defense, they put a TON of work into making a unique play system for an RPGM game. And that's about all they did because the game play/mechanics themselves are the most uninspired thing I have seen in a while. The fighting being a background thing that happens as you "explore" the dungeon is a kinda neat way to make for a dynamic dungeon diving/exploration game...that they did not capitalize on at all. The dungeon exploration is less exploring and more just wondering a resource heavy (for RPGM) isometric 3D map for the handful fo loot in the largely open single room that is each floor before moving to the next, nearly identical floor It is interspersed with the acutal story, of which your choices matter none. You can turn off the dungeon aspect in the settings. Most likely because even the dev realized at some point this was a very dull and pointlessly tedious gameplay loop. I do not know if they had grander ambitions they burnt out on, or if this was all it was ever meant to be. Regardless, as it is, it's trash. Play the dungeon a few times so you can see what it's like. Then just skip it because there's literally no point and just treat it like a VN. Overall, this game is 2/5 stars. Had it been made simply a VN, maybe I could give it 3/5 stars. But seeing as you need to disable the gameplay to do that, that doesn't get it the star back. I had hoped for a game that was offering a unique take on dungeon exploration game, but there's nothing of note to be found here in that regard. I had hoped for a game that had a bit more "pick your girl to stick to as the dungeon forces the party to split and leaves the other in the hands of a dastardly and brazen womanizer", but there's not really anything of note regarding that either. All in all, this game looks far more promising than it is. And there's not reallymuch regarding the game. If you really like the art or really find the story compelling, then just turn off the dungeon mechanics and treat it as a VN. Otherwise avoid this game.

Scenario is the trope for these, as is the narrative, as are the characters. Even the bull is one of The Four Horsemen. Porn's the same; you've seen it all already. TLDR: Another One of These.

I find it so disingenuous where people downrate a game because its AI when there's clearly an AI tag. It's like complaining rape has rape games. There are 4* higher games in this site but I am not here to call out bias. Here's an actual review from a person who played to start and finish PROS: Story and Characters: This is actually it's greatest strenght. Unlike other NTR where the girls are being stolen because of an asshole scum, it's the complete opposite here. The guy doing the cuck is actually well written, decent fella, who even cares to the MC being a pathetic pos and in the Spoiler: happy ending he actually apologized and feel guilty for stealing the girls and acknowledged that the girls does deserve him There are still some flaws that I dislike how so generically the girls are quick to be a slut like 99% of NTR games but its a matter of taste. CONS: Gameplay: fun at first but is so boring after a long while. It makes you just want to unlock the gallery, thankfully I played it during a time I dont have other games to play so I finished through. but its not fun in the long run. Tldr: play for the story and writing, if not then dont go expecting a diamond in the rough type. Tho id argue the story is one. 4 stars ignoring the fact its AI because I just really like the writing for once.

It's not great, the gameplay is just finding the randomly generated stairs to the next floor and watching almost completely automated random battles (once every five battles or so you get to click a skill, woo). The story is standard fare. Childhood friends, mc who can't confess, girls fall for the bull almost right away. It just plays out by itself at set points in the dungeon progression with the only exceptions being four extra scenes that proc if you find a random drop. TLDR: The game plays itself, the story doesn't inspire and speaking purely for myself the scenes weren't exciting either. Single star for not breaking.

Gameplay isn't fun but you can skip the dungeon part through the settings. I did personally because completing them just was't fun. Just seems like a normal and short NTR game nothing special. Decent scenes so rating it 3 stars.
