About Imperial Chronicles: Rebinded (Unofficial Remake)

Imperial Chronicles: Rebinded is an unofficial fan remake by Filipis, built as a Ren'Py adult visual novel using animated 3D CG renders from LazyMonkey’s original Imperial Chronicles. It follows the same story as the original, so players are advised to try that version first; save files do not carry over, and there are no non-canonical additions. You play as the prince of the Golden Kingdom, returning after nearly ten years of exile when your ailing father summons you to prepare for the throne. As the crown draws nearer, the situation becomes more dangerous, with fantasy, romance, and harem elements.

The current build is v0.9, released on October 23, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and MacOS, is available in English, and is uncensored. Earlier update notes list v0.8 Western Winds: Part II, which included an omitted AI animation for the coup episode from v0.6 and a settings option to turn AI animations on or off; v0.7 Western Winds: Part I also appears in the changelog.

Developer's description

After spending nearly a decade in exile, you receive a summons from your ailing father, the king; the time has come for the prince of the Golden Kingdom to begin preparing for his ascension. But the closer you get to the crown, the more dangerous the situation becomes... Spoiler: About the "remake" This project is concurrent with the original, and faithfully follows its story; for the best experience, play through the original first, then this one if you find it interesting; save files are unique to each project, and fundamentally incompatible; there will not be any non-canonical expansion of content whatsoever; consider this project a re-wrapping of the original according to my own wishes, with full approval from the original creator! This is a fanmade rewrite of Imperial Chronicles by LazyMonkey which uses renders from the original game. Please support the original creator if you've enjoyed this content.
