About In By Side
In By Side is a novel-style RPG made with Wolf RPG by Tanuki Hole Residence. It uses 2D CG art and puts you in control of Joff, a protagonist who returns to village life after a work assignment. Each weekend at home brings events, and you can use an illusion ability to look into your wife's life in the village. The story explores cheating, corruption, and bdsm, and your final choice leads to one of three endings.
The current build is version 1.03, released May 18, 2023, and development is ongoing. It is a Windows game in English, with censorship. The 1.03 changelog lists an initial upload and gives patching instructions: run GameUpdate in the game folder, or patch manually through GitGud.
Developer's description
This is a novel-style RPG where you control the protagonist, Joff, and experience life in the village after returning from a work assignment. Spoiler Every weekend when you return home, you can encounter events and use a special ability (illusion) to peek into your wife's life in the village. Even in unreasonable scenarios of cuckolding or being cuckolded, the story aims to ensure that characters agree to such situations as much as possible. Depending on the player's final choice, the story concludes with three different endings.
