About Inquisitor Trainer

Inquisitor Trainer is a Ren'Py adventure from Adeptus Celeng, set in a dark gothic far future. You play a young woman investigating vanished officials and strange cases that may connect to a heretical cult. Because she lacks training and equipment, she improvises to reach her goals. The game uses 2D CG and animated visuals, with themes of fantasy, combat, and humiliation.

Development is ongoing in v0.5.9 Basic, released September 1, 2026 for Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android in English without censorship. The update adds the full Loyalist Ending, which requires the top score and set conditions, plus Saint Celestine’s Memory Restoration Ritual with a new timing game and story content on the Loyalist route. It also includes Heidi’s Acolyte Interview, where you answer five personal questions about her past and the Inquisition, and an evaluation requiring you to solve Cordelia’s cogitator cipher. Thalia’s Bedchamber Investigation adds room scanning, clue searches, and case synthesis, along with new artwork and an emotional character moment.

Developer's description

The game based on naughty and perverted dark gothic era of the far future. Which you, Player will take the role of a young female protagonist, tasked to investigate the disappearance of several officials and other mysterious cases in the city which might be related to certain heretical cult. However, she will not conduct her investigation in a conventional manner, due to her lack of training and proper equipment. She will have to 'improvise' and to use whatever means necessary to achieve her goals.
