IRYS is a crime-driven sci-fi visual novel set in Monet , a city-state born from displacement, isolation, and quiet political compromise. Once a district created to separate non-Americans from society, Monet now stands as its own country—modern, efficient, and deeply compromised. You play as a corporate employee at Deimos Corporation , a technological powerhouse responsible for Monet’s rapid advancement. On the surface, Deimos represents progress: innovation, opportunity, and stability. Beneath it lies a network of illegal experimentation, psychological manipulation, and government-backed secrecy. Spoiler As you navigate office politics, corporate pressure, and fragile relationships, you begin to realize something is wrong—not just with the company, but with yourself. Lost memories resurface through dreams. Guilt feels manufactured. Promotions feel earned… yet hollow. Romance, trust, and ambition collide as coworkers become mirrors of your own condition—some complicit, some broken, some trying to survive in a system designed to control them. IRYS is a story about power disguised as professionalism, trauma rewritten as “growth,” and the cost of accepting blame for something you don’t remember doing.

[Review for Ch. 1 P2 v1.0.2] I want to give this AVN a higher review, but reading this is genuinely just irritating. First off, want to say the visuals are great. The girls, the lighting, the shots, they're all great. Only real issue I have is these women basically all look the fucking same. It feels like I'm looking at a k-pop group where they're designated by their hair colour (I mean, how convenient is it that they all have different hair colours?) The writing certainly is good, although it sometimes feels like there's some A.I assistance going on. Either that, or it's translation iffyness. Some conversations just don't flow very well or feel stilted, and the MC's internal monologues often feel very circular rather than actually saying anything meaningful. There's also just numerous logical errors, from the start and continuing throughout. I mean the very first one says that Julie took the fall for the MC, but then a couple lines later says that MC got all the blame. Why would Julie take the heat, but only the MC get demoted? Why then would he also claim that HE was the one that got the blame? What? Also, numerous times, the choices feel meaningless, because the dev hasn't written in branching responses. For example, you get told by your boss about the MC's new job, and you got three choices: 1) ask about a co-worker's massively high salary, 2) ask about the job expectations, 3) thank her for the promotion. Except, when the MC gets back to his table, he references the boss with lines she ONLY says in the first choice. This kind of thing should be very easily understood as things that should be paid attention to, not just as point system fodder. The worst part is, is that this is totally avoidable by just having the same dialogue that just mentions NONE of them...like why mention one specifically? Story-wise, I feel like it hooks you in decently and gives you a good pitch, but time will tell if it ends up maintaining engagement and sticking the landing. The big issue I got is with the love interests. There are good love interests who you want to learn more about, like Pamela and Tori, but three of them are fucking stupid choices for love interests: Tricia, Julie, and Lynx. For SOME reason, we got the girl who stabbed you in the back two years ago and later ends up having a lackey putting a gun to your head to try and manipulate you into working for her, and then having the same lackey break into your house (btw, ALSO a "love interest") , your ex who dumped you after you got demoted and treated you like shit, and a girl who threatens you and tries to get you fired the firs time you ever interact with her. With Julie especially, you're supposed to make immediate decisions about whether you want to enter a relationship with them, but you have no in-universe reason to EVER want to be with them. What was the dev even thinking??? The only reason you'd actually engage with these people is to see sex scenes, which totally defeats the purpose of actually making an adult visual NOVEL. The dev either needs to rewrite the intro and make it seem more flattering for these characters (e.g. they say Julie fought for the MC, but they pushed the blame onto him regardless), or they need to write in justified reasons for them being total cunts and THEN give us the option of starting a relationship with them. At this point, you just cut them off at the start, so they could make up some bullshit reason where actually they were victims and not perpetators, but it doesn't MATTER because it happens SO FAR AFTER when you actually have to make the choice. I'd rate this 4/5, but the fact I got to a third L.I. having this same fucking issue, leads to me not wanting to rate it any higher than a 6/10.

[Ch.1 P2] Great story, visuals, and natural dialogue. I really like the office setting mixed with sci-fi and mystery elements. I like the pacing (not too fast, not too slow). I hope we’ll get constant content updates.

Review of IRYS To summarize the game before giving section wise review, the game is actually really good. Things are mysterious, which I like. The models of the girls are great and the overall tone is also nice. It's a sci-fi crime novel with evil corporate seeming to be the main antagonists, so I wasn't expecting all the things to become clear initially. So overall a fantastic experience. Visuals: One of the most strongest suit this game has, is it's visuals. Not a single character (Girls) is unattractive. All the girls are bombshells. Pamela is my favorite, closely followed by Helen. Helen looks incredibly hot. She seems to be a fighter, and even though we haven't had much view of her entire body yet, I really wish she'd have that perfect body a fighter like her should be having. (If you are reading this dev, I mean perfect legs and glutes) Apart from the characters, the environment and lighting is top notch as well. Matches the story and the mood it intends to set. Animations are good enough as well. But I've read the developer say about learning blender for animations, so I hope the animations look much more fluid and smoother. Story: It's a sci-fi crime story, with a touch of cyberpunky setting. It's got cybernetics & stuff. Helen being a predominant female character on whom we can notice it. It gives a good view of what world the characters live in. Story is filled with mystery, and probably has evil corporate greed as an antagonist. This was just an assumption, but we've got a few hints about that in the game currently. Choices: It has a relationship point system, so it's likely that it's going to dictate who's path MC is on. Choices seem to matter because the initial choice between choosing to reject or accept your ex has had ramification throughout the story till now. So overall, the game has been really brilliant. I've read some people talk about MC being "Passive" or a "Doormat", but it's been very well explained throughout the current story that some external factor has made him that way. And considering it's a crime sci-fi story, he seems to not know much about things as of now, which make him appear a bit confused. And I have no issues with that, it's actually fresh to see a harem game where the MC does not start the game being a full on 100% Chad alpha. But he grows into one through the story. Another thing which I liked, and it's different from most harem games is, that most girls in the game are straight, which is different from most generic harem games where everyone loves everyone. It's a really welcome change and can't wait to see how that can work on the harem path the game has. All the best dev, I'll be keeping an eye on the game. You've made something good!

A game with tons of potential but only time will tell if it matches the expectations or not. Character Models and LI's : All the LI's seem hot and well done in their own way so props for that. Though I did find some clipping issues with Pamela's hand going through her clothes early in the game, it was a one-off thing and I didn't notice it again. I'm also a bit iffy about the whole scope of the game since Tori was supposedly a side-character which was then changed into a main LI. I love the decision (She might be one of the better LI's in the game from what I've seen), but this is the devs first game, and I fear he's biting more than he can chew. There are even more characters which are already teased but not introduced like Pamela's sister, Avril's girlfriend and the female streamer girl. So it'll only get even more harder from here. Pumping the breaks a bit and planning things realistically so it doesn't blow out of proportion would be a start. Music and Sound : Not much comments on it really. There's background music which works well as it's not empty. The climax part at the end was done well with the sound design, so no complaints here. Good job. Writing and Story : This is where the game gets knocked down a level for me. The writing reeks of being AI-written or at least AI-assisted with all the obvious em dashes ( —). There was one instance where the words repeated making me do a double take. The characters also say one thing but do something completely different. For example - While in Julie's cabin, she instructs Pamela for some privacy with MC. When MC comes out, Pamela asks, "What was that about?" and if you shut down the conversation, Pamela goes, "I'm not the one to pry". Yet the very next scene on the elevator she goes, "So you and Julie..." and I'm like, didn't I just shut you down a second ago? And not only that, you told me you're not the one to pry and yet somehow your still asking me this? That whole scene made no sense. There was also an instance were Avril told us (MC and Kevin) about the streamer girl but some time later Kevin re-introduces the streamer girl to MC like the conversation with Avril didn't happen at all? That part made me scratch my head in confusion. Also, something which I personally found obnoxious in the writing was how dumb the writing took me for that it had to constantly mention the events which I already played through by referencing it over and over again. The MC kept inner-monologuing about how bad his first day was from getting caught by Tori, to getting blackmailed by Lynx. Then the same inner-monologuing in the car while he drove home. And then the same inner-monologuing right before the climax of the update. 3 times I had to read this and each time it was less impactful. Building tension and mystery by repeating these things over and over again is not the way. And lastly, I'm tired of the whole mafia/secret criminal organisation thing. Can't we just have a normal game where the MC is just responsible to put food on the table and not of saving the whole world? Animation and Adult content : I haven't played Julie's route so can't say but I only came across 1 lewd scene and that too was a dream sequence. I personally skipped through Lynx's scene because fuck that bitch. The animation looks good but there's no text in between it. I find that a big letdown. Also, no SFX sounds while sex which is a bummer. Rating : A 3.5 from me, but since that's not possible, a 4 it is then.

I will start by saying I'm pleasantly surprised by this one. It has a lot of potential and is pretty interesting right out of the gate. It's a lot more polished than a LOT of games that only have 1 chapter released. There could be slightly more intro to the world and the main characters past, but it's not that bad as is, just feels a little light. The visuals and character models look good, the characters have actual depth to their personalities that comes through in the writing. The story seems decent so far as well, but we'll see how it develops (only CH1 is available at this point). Animations are pretty basic, nothing special, but also nothing bad. My only real gripe is the massive flash bang the players receive when the game goes into and out of memory sequences. You get absolutely blinded upon both entry and exit of said scenes. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this one and playing major updates.

So far excellent! Been a while since I've been this invested in a new release. Intriguing development, solid writing, good cast, and a harem tag on top, what more could one ask for? This definitely has the potential to rise high on my list.

The game has a specific dark graphics of a sentient world. It does not inspire pleasant feelings and gives hope to expect something interesting from the game. Usually they do this only in horror and mystical films, not in the game. The characters are sad and not cheerful, as if they were developed somewhere in ruzzia. The graphics are generally questionable, and the plot is very banal and not cheerful. A gloomy game that does not bring anything joyful or interesting. Not worth attention...

ch.1p2- Good story narration and pace. Renders look good. Image ch01-home-07 error when you get to that part of the game. Animations are done well, and are smooth. I look forward to the next update.

Interesting to say the least, MC's behavior might've been altered by tech, judging from the plot so far Would definitely keep it under watch, loved the renders and some models, especially Pamela

Review for IRYS (v0.1) IRYS is a promising start and makes a strong first impression. The opening of the story is intriguing and does a good job of pulling you in early, making you curious about where things are headed next. The script is well written overall, with dialogue that feels coherent and purposeful rather than rushed or filler. It sets up the characters and tone nicely for an early version of the project. Visually, the renders are very well done and stand out as one of the game’s stronger aspects. They look polished and help bring the scenes to life. I’m also glad to see the inclusion of music to help set the mood, along with sound effects used in moments where music isn’t needed. This adds atmosphere without being overwhelming and shows good attention to presentation. That said, there are a couple of areas that could use improvement. The transitions between scenes are currently far too long and can disrupt the pacing of the story. Tightening these up would significantly improve the overall flow. Another issue comes up when a new girl is introduced and the player has to scroll up and down using the mouse. This interaction feels awkward, and the multiple required clicks often end up deselecting the auto feature. Adding a simple “continue” button here would make the experience much smoother and less frustrating. Overall , IRYS (v0.1) is a solid and encouraging start with strong writing, attractive visuals, and good audio design. With improved scene transitions and some UI quality-of-life adjustments, it has the potential to become a very enjoyable experience. I’m interested to see how the project develops in future updates.

VERSION: Ch.1 P1 SUMMARY: Cautiously optimistic... RATINGS: (out of 5): ⭐⭐⭐ NOTE: The following categories and scoring method are my own criteria and may require more context. Additionally , scoring is based on the state, and what is in the current version and not what may or may not be introduced at a later point. Character (Model) Visuals......... : ⭐⭐⭐⭐ General (World) Visuals........... : ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Animation Quality................. : ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Character Personality(Persona).... : ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Story & Dialogue .................. : ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Writing & Grammar................. : ⭐⭐⭐⭐ UX/UI, Game Type & Mechanics.......: ⭐⭐⭐ Playtime & Pacing ..................: ⭐⭐ Music & Sounds .....................: ⭐⭐⭐ Adult Content & Fetishes.......... : ⭐ Average: X of 50 possible points giving a X% rating i.e. X stars. PROS: - See my opinions section for details. Good looking models and LIs Renders are generally all pretty decent, good. Animations are good, good quality Writing is solid, structured and reads well. Dialogue is thoughtful, has depth and characters have unique personalities. Story seems interesting, much intrigue and clearly the driving factor for this AVN. Choices appear to matter, but due to short game we can't really tell to what extent. Still there are some immediate actions. CONS: - See my opinions section for details. Sounds are few and far between, some music, some sounds but not much, the one lewd scene (missable) has no sounds... Short, not much content save setting the scene/plot, little else and nothing really "exciting" on the adult content level. Animations being good and all, and while kinda funny and silly, one thing I noticed in the porno scene the MC watches is that the characters asshole is a "blackhole" and not in the comical sense, clearly some oversight there when it comes to details. The model isn't complete. OPINIONS, SUGGESTIONS & FINAL REMARKS : NOTE: The following remarks are my personal opinions and thoughts, which may provide more context and could be useful to the developer. (Read them or don't) Not a bad start at all, clearly AI renders and CG are used, at least from what I can tell, this is not a deal breaker, though characters and scenes look almost too pretty as a result and don't feel and look natural. This is not a deal break and more a nit pick that I mention as an observation but not an issue. Clearly the dialogue and story have been revised and thought through well, this is refreshing and nice to see. It feels and reads professional and the plot seems to have some intrigue. TLDR: Easily an AVN that can earn 4 stars, even 5 if the next few updates continue with the positives mentioned but also add to the adult content and other points raised in my cons section. This AVN has a good amount of potential, but there isn't enough here to really say its good or great, its fine and has promise, but until we see more ill reserve my optimism and keep my rating neutral. I will update my review as the game develops.
