About James Ironwood Rises Again
James Ironwood Rises Again is a fan-made visual novel parody inspired by RWBY, created by Jali1002 using Ren'Py and presented with 2D CG artwork. You play as James Ironwood after his defeat by Winter, awakening to find Atlas still standing. A mysterious figure offers him a second chance, and the story asks whether he will seek atonement, strike back at Team RWBY and Ozpin, or choose both. The project is intended to be free, and its creator does not own the source characters or settings.
The current build is version 0.1.1, released February 23, 2025, and development is ongoing. It is an upgraded version of the game’s first release, originally shared on Patreon months ago. The build runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux in English, with no censorship. The update corrected misplaced sprites, added new character interactions, and altered some existing ones. Adult themes include parody, harem, and BDSM.

This game is fan-made Visual Novel inspired by the web series RWBY. RWBY is an IP owned by Viz media. This game is just a parody that will be 100% free and avaiable for everyonne. I don't own any of the characters or settings in the game. Now for the plot of the game (spoilers for season 8 of the show) Spoiler After being defeated by Winter, James Ironwood opens his eyes and finds out that Atlas seems to still be intact after the fall. While he is wondering how this is possible and reconsidering all of his life choices, a misterious figure appears out of nowhere and approaches him. Ironwood is about to be given a second chance at life, the question is: what will he do with it? Will he seek for redemption? Revenge against team RWBY and Ozpin? Or maybe both?
