About Kansen 5 ~The Daybreak~
Kansen 5 ~The Daybreak~ is an adult 2D game by SPEED, using an engine listed as Others and 2D CG artwork. It follows Makoto Nakazawa, a young man living in Shibuya, Tokyo, after the Tohoku outbreak of an Unknown virus epidemic took his family, friends, and memories. When he joins his school newspaper club as a correspondent and travels to an island in Japan's Inland Sea, he becomes involved in events tied to a second outbreak. The story mixes memory loss, epidemic outbreak, and corruption within a modern Japanese setting.
The current build is finished, with development complete as of the February 23, 2018 release. It runs on Windows and is available in English, with the localization credited to GPT-4. The adult content is presented with mosaic censorship.
Developer's description
Four years ago, Makoto Nakazawa lost family, friends, and even memory of the events during the outbreak of the Unknown virus epidemic in the Tohoku region of Japan. Now adopted by a female friend of his deceased father, he lives in the Shibuya district of Tokyo, struggling to rebuild a new life in a new land. However he doesn't suspect what Fate has for him when he accepts to go to a little (and not entirely fictional) island in the Inland Sea of Japan as correspondent for the newspaper club of his school, because that island is about to become one of the starting points of the second outbreak of the epidemic he barely survived once...
