v1.1
New:
-a couple lines of new dialogue. (mostly in preperation for things happening outside of the game so nothing relevant for now.)
-Easy route mode:
The game no longer checks for stats and just asks if you want a specific ending once it triggers.
-Main route mode:
The game has 0 choices and follows the true/intended path with the "revolution" ending replaced by the True end
(I also included a skip stop at the point in which the true end starts for those who just want to skip through to see the true end.)
Both game mode unlock after beating the game for the first time (after the credits)
To activate either mode start a new game. You'll get asked if you want easy mode and after that if you want the main path mode.
(Answering no to both just starts a normal new game)
changes:
-Adjusted some ending conditions~
-True end easier to get~
v1.0
New:
~657 new renders
~20k new words
-Normal ending
-True ending
-updated kp2 demo (unlocked after getting the true ending)
fixes:
-changed all ending replays, gallery replays and demo replays into simple calls to fix the screen transitions.
(Before this change the quick menu disapeared between every new render. Now it looks like it is in the normal game)
A warning though: Watching a h-event or ending while playing will kick you back into the main menu once the scene is finished so save before starting one.
-android version shows the right version number now
Summary for v1.0:
-4.442 total renders
-234,651 total words
-27 endings (True, normal and bad together~)
-25 h-events (24 in gallery and without the bad ending h-events. So about 50 h-events total~)
v0.7
New:
-422 new render (3.771 total)
-~20k new words
-Added some flags that will get carried over into Keepers 2~
-Bonus folder poll: Miru, yuiko, Irina and hikari lewds (new versions and miru female only version.)
-Bonus folder: Bdsm stuff cuz the bad end got cut from the game.
changes:
-first QTE timer is now 0.85 instead of 0.75
-Ending 24 is now available for all paths
-Added hide GUI button for android
-changed 1 render in v0.3b because a model changed slightly
-Added a bit of dialogue in v0.3b to make something slightly more clear.
bugfix:
-Fixed some missing dialouge in the last h-event of v0.6a (Thanks to Shadowen~)
v0.6b
New:
-363 renders (3.350 renders total)
-~20k new words
-3 new bad endings (1 of them with 2 variations)
-last stat check for a bad ending. (I was generous with the check this time. You'll get a couple new oportunities to gain stats and one to lose a lot so it's possible to get the ending if your stats are somewhat good)
Bonus folder poll:
-Rumi x multiple Hikari lewds
-Special couple lewds (includes futanari. (And I'll use younger versions cuz reasons ;3))
Misc:
-Added return button for android.
v0.6a
Misc:
-small GUI update
-combined images to reduce file numbers (you can't switch the old renders with the reworked ones anymore.)
-added android version (Didn't test it on actual hardware but it should work. There could be problems on small screens though. I tested it on blue stacks and it works fine there.)
New:
-366 new renders (2.987 total)
-~20k new words (~200k total)
-1 new bad ending (1h-event)
-2 new h-events inside the main story
Bonus folder polls:
-POV's From old h-events
-normal and battle outfits for kp2's school teams. (Small changes will probably be made for some characters until kp2's release.)
-pre v0.1 stuff. Warning bad renders ahead! (Everyone started small :3)
v0.5b
For the story update:
~15k new words (~185k total)
~320 new renders
-3 new h-event's (skipable)
-Kiumi's 1st h-event (Contains heavy drug usage)
-added Rumi's first exam h-event. Now selectable in the gallery.
~added a 'new' mechanic starting with this update (Old content doesn't have this but I may add it if I feel like it's too late to introduce this). Warning: save often! Rollback gets disabeled at certain points!
~Discord poll: Beach outfit renders for both teams.
~Discord poll: Kiumi and hibuki lewds
~Remade some renders needed for a flashback (about 5 renders)
~Updated the walkthorugh to include endings 15-21
-'lowered' stat check of ending 16 by 1. (easier to avoid)
v0.1 remake part 1:
~100 reworked and about 30 completely new renders.
-Added an old 'v0.1 renders' folder into the bonus folder.
-Added a 'reworked renders' folder into the bonus folder.
-Removed the hints from most questions in v0.1 because you can see the effect directly after chosing and just rollback. (may cause errors if you reload a save at one of these questions with hints on.)
-Removed a couple old renders without replacing them with new ones (Nothing major though)~
-Very small additions to dialoge but none of that is important to the main story or the lore (So fluff text mostly~).
-Added about 30 new renders for v0.1. (To reduce long conversations without render changing. (example: 20 dialogue boxes for 1 render got turned into 4 renders for the same amount of dialogue))
-Remade about 100 renders for v0.1.
-(some parts in the beginning look quite odd now thanks to the updated renders. Mostly Hikari's model and shadows. The differences between the reworked and not reworked bits are very easy to notice.)
-If you replace the reworked images with the old ones keep in mind that this could potentialy break the game.
v0.5a
~30k new words (170k total)
-506 new renders (~2281 total)
-7 new endings (all of them with at least 1 h-event)
-1 h-event -> Skippable NTR scene.

-Discord poll: Rumi and her big sister h-stuff.

-Bonus folder update: Includes nudes from different characters. (Characters in there will be polled for in the future) This is currently a test phase to get an idea on what you players want.
-Sorted code. (Translators may have to update script.rpy because all important characters and flaggs are now declared and sorted at the beginning (this includes future updates))
-Rumi x Nozumi h-event gets pushed into v0.4b. It won't be available in this update (The flagg for this is already set so you don't have to worry about unlocking it again).

~25k new words (Making it ~65k words in total)

~replaced the changelog screen in the gallery with a new checklist for people who enjoy the story and want to figure out more things.

-1 new bad ending
-new taggs: Humor(maybe?), school setting, Futa on male (no D gets used though. It's just the hint that there will be Futas in the future.)
-NTR made 'technicaly'(more to that in .txt files or the dev notes) avoidable. The choice for that is made only in this update. Means no way out of it in any later update.
-Added 2 .txt files explaining how to avoid ntr and other important things.
-To balance out the avoidable NTR I'll make it more difficult, for those who avoid the ntr, to avoid bad endings in future updates. (Most of them in v.0.6- or -7)
-changed Hikari's model. (Nothing major)
-added bonus folder with old and unused renders and a little present I'll add with a later update.
-Added a warning system for bad ending content (Toggable in options) if you want to avoid the more 'hardcore' fetishes.
-Edited the future taggs since I can theoreticaly add every tag I want. (And I will if enough people want a bad ending with a specific tag) I added this because of the new warning system.
v.0.01.03 release
This game recounts the events experienced by hikari, including her choices, challenges, and the consequences that follow . The narrative unfolds logically, even if the bigining is a bit slow (dont give up the best part is after), allowing readers to understand the world where hikari evolve and its (almost) as great as "out of touch".
This game at first I downloaded it as test try for this category ( Skipping through ) but after I've noticed that choices give out disaster endings/kept hitting brick wall. I said to myself this game should take its own time to dwell upon its story and dang I'm glad I did. The story grabs you with mysteries at first such that you become so invested that you keep on continuing through without skipping any frame unlike other games that are just adding words to show off word count. This game's every frame has its own thrill for the upcoming story/plot but when you least expect it, Disaster struck and my body drained of emotion from that roller coaster of events, That I began calming myself to endure the upcoming events but for what, And then another disaster struck, Gladly it was near the end that you don't have to go on another roller coaster. All in all that this game is so unique and a hidden gem between cash grab that you find on this websites to the point it made me dream of it that night from how much it has affected me. I would 100% recommend you try it, I had to leave a review this game is goated i love the story with the downs and up
While browsing F95, I stumbled upon this game. It didn’t have many reviews, but the ratings were very good. Also, the tags were ones I usually look for. The screenshots showed some pretty nice Koikatsu-style models, and the game was only about 900 MB. I thought it might be a nice little game to relax with. I generally love good stories in games, whether on console or PC, but given that it was from F95, I wasn’t expecting much in terms of plot. It started off calmly: a village in the mountains, a restricted part of the forest, the main character turning 18, and some talks about monsters. In my head, I already pictured a cliché plot that would quickly lead to the “meat.” But as minutes went by, I found myself getting more and more absorbed in the story. We get to know Rumi and her relationships with Hikari. We explore the world, and later on, other dimensions come into play. Before I knew it, I was playing with bated breath, fully immersed in the narrative. Even though I was already captivated by the world, characters, and story, I had no idea how emotionally intense this game would become. The relationship with Rumi is the best part of the game I didn’t expect to find a game that would put me through such an emotional wringer and make me tear up. The last time a game did this was probably Cyberpunk 2077 along with its DLC. Kudos to the author and the entire team — they did an amazing job at evoking so many emotions in me. The game isn’t perfect; there are a few things that could be improved, like better graphics, especially for the environment (no shadows), missing scenes that are only described through text, simple environment animations, and of course, any kind of sound, because right now there is complete silence.
This game is a true gem hidden away when it really should be at the forefront of what a good game is supposed to be. A story that enwraps many different preferences and many unique concepts to explore. My honest review is, play the game! There are tags listed for this game that can be completely avoided all together if you don't want that type of content. The dev even added a warning system for the bad ends to warn people who may not want to see what happens to our heroine during these events. After you complete the game you will have access to a beautiful gallery with each ending you found and each h-scene seen. (Not to mention the bonus file with an amazing gift in it) Keepers is a revolutionary game that pushes Koikatsu to the limit and is covered in the blood, sweat and tears of its dev. Those of you concerned with typos and grammar , please just note that English is not the native language of its creator. If you understand what is being said, then please just be respectful and fair! The story might seem short or rushed for this game, however, there are three more games planned, so please be patient. The fun has just only begun! note* There is an android build, but if your phone is not up to par, please just use a computer. The game is really easy to run *because* it doesn't have animations. Which is made up for with EVERY image being completely unique . Mad respect!
This game truly pushes the limits of what you can do with a koikatsu engine and while sure it has some rough spots you can see the improvements as you progress. The drama is soo good as well constantly putting you on your toes tugging at your heartstrings this game as almost everything you could want out of a vn
Why 2 stars? 1 is for "really" good Story and 1 is "permanant" point. PROS: Story/drama/plot twists, and I have nothing to say about it, just play it and you understand. CONS: 1. Graphics/Visual: Using Koikatsu assets but it could be better. It just dev likes the "current" level of graphics and said no to animation so just accept it. And that's why a good story game can't get much attentions compared to Lycoris Radiata, same theme but better graphics and attention, even no need for s*x. 2. UX/UI Design: Also poor quality but can't blame though. 3. Kinetic Novel with "unexpected" choices, not choice-based: Yes, that's the one would make you frustrated. I could say the typo isn't great at all, and even with Hints/Spoilers ON you couldn't control the stats on your own. Some tells you increasing/decreasing, almost not mentioned. Also while in-game event it was just increasing/decreasing based on event that occurs lately after your choice earlier you even couldn't remember why. The game introduces having many Endings but for sure, 2 Ends are not BAD Ends, for 1st playthrough you forcely got Normal End to active Main Route/True End for 2nd playthrough. Noted that, the True End will unlock only you unlocked certain Bad Ends with points counted based on the guide on Discord. It feels like a Japanese VN, which almost every titles forced you to play many times to unlock specific scenes, and preferably not my cup of tea. In conclusion, any wrong choices forced facing Bad Ends and reload the game. So it should be a kinetic novel, ignoring those fake choices. 4. Typo: Not poor quality as those 1* games out there, but since the game series is trying to cram with everything come from devs' brain, you will wonder, what the heck was happening, like most of time, a lot events occured ridiculously. That's why it needs proof-reading, literally. 5. Contents Management: This part could act like a Wiki for you, "since the game series is trying to cram with everything come from devs' brain". And of course in Part 1 (this game version) has no explanation for all things happened, plus typo issues, it could be nightmare for who trying to figure what happened in game at that moment. 6. Introduction: The worst part of game, "since the game series is trying to cram with everything come from devs' brain" (what is important I repeated 3 times), so many characters involved to story without proper introduction, just "???" with different color. Some conversations with all "???" characters and later I figured out not all characters appeared on scene were talking, it could be someone was talking "out-of-scene", and that happens like many times, you should figure out yourself who were talking and talking with. 7. Optimization: When the game are all using WEBP images, no animation, no video (at least after many versions, the package size could explain itself), but it poorly optimized on Phone. Maybe caused by lacking of RAM. Admittedly 4GB RAM isn't much but with VN game has nothing but only images, I never expect any "crashes". Even sometimes playing on my laptop, when tried to rollback an event, the game had to load for a couples of seconds before processing. Like devs said, he/she only optimizes for PC, and I doubt that, even I feel like Phone users is ignored. And since mostly no attention from the game, certainly no Android porters have ported this game. CONCLUSION: - If you find the game is cute, good story and go ahead - But when you feel frustrated, I think you should stop. Poor explanation causes that feeling. - In CONS part, it should be spoiled already, but I will tell more. The 1st half of game is boring with a lot of bla bla stuffs =)))))) 2nd half is rushing events that makes you always asking what the heck was happnening for sure. - To fully understand Part 1 (this game version), you should play Keepers 2 to get the whole "picture" of the game imaginably!
The essence of this game is to be a story . Your choices matter very little in reality, as Hikari is in reality helpless in front of most situations. The story likes to play on your feelings by giving you hopes, only to shatter them hours later. While not your usual hentai game, as most of the scenes are in bad ends, it offers an universe in war, and I'm here with my popcorn for it. It's probably not a "game" for everyone, as it's a visual novel to the core, with few mechanics beside the 2 stats to check bad ends or not. But for whoever likes drama story, Keepers should definitely deserve your time. As for the visuals, they are typical Koikatsu ones, but with a good variety of them and each of them being staged, making the panels lively as they quickly change, presenting the whole picture of all present characters and the environment - contrary to usual VN with a static background and just a fix/animated portrait being brought forward as the character talks. Scenes are made in the same fashion, which is not a bad thing compared to animated loops that are never perfect enough to not spot the discontinuity. Gameplay-wise, well, not a lot to say. The Instincts and Sanity stats are the only leverage for the possibilities of the game, and balancing them is quite easy enough when doing a serious playthrough, not one to get the most sex times. Let's note that there is the particularity of unlocking Spoiler the True Ending as well as a checklist in the menu to push the players to discover the truth about the lore of the world. Overall, good story, will cry again.
It start good, but further it goes, shitier it gets. First half was good, but around second half it's just downhill. Plot start becoming more and more obvious, and provided dialogue "choices" are just a joke at this point. Just an example (real in game one): NTR or game over. Well almost all the choices is: eat shit or game over. I think author just don't know how to progress plot without hurting anyone (mc, or someone close to mc) every 5 seconds. So, yeah, I don't recommend this Vn. It has good sides (like renders), but idk, man, I started reading this in such a joy, I even don't slept whole night reading this vn ( and got to work in the morning). But further I read, the less enjoyment I had, and in the end good vn turns into a cheap drama for the sake of drama and not for plot. I feel really disappointed. You can do better, Lumari. (I hope so). Upd. I read "Hornus" review (scroll a little bit down) and this guy said what I wanted, but better, and he mentioned what I forget to. Sorry for grammar, English not my first language.
The majority of this story was amazing, good renders, good sex scenes, well-written characters, etc. Unfortunately, I can't give this one 5 stars due to the last portion of the story, which was not only downright heartbreaking but also felt a bit rushed. I'm hopeful for its sequel, though.
This reads like a mediocre anime which I'm still all for, but too often the dialogue suffers predictable scenarios because of that. Topped off with bad grammar I struggled to read through it. First story I could not finish in a long time.
It's a nice game with a good story, has some typos here and there but they don't impact the experience that it has to offer, had moment's that actually made me feel emotional, has good variaty of choices that impact the playthrough and all character's are unique and with their own motivations . In the end I give this game a 5/5 looking forward to see more content of the Dev.
I loved the story, the love, sacrifices and the drama hit hard, but tht was expected. One thing though detracted from a 5-star-review. There were just way too many characters (all the queens of the dimensions) that did not have any real impact to the story. That was very confusing.
Its a cute coming of age story, where we are following Hikari. A girl who first becomes a foxgirl and then a super saiyan. For a short overview 60% lesbian 35% futa 5% rest No bgm Nice clean artwork Static images Likeable characters Engaging story Splitting paths Honestly im left with disappointment. Not because the game is bad, but because it started really really good. Ive seen so much potential but the quality rapidly decreases halfway through. Im not adressing the h content here. It has its highs and lows ofc but doesnt deviate too much. While i appreciate lesbian stuff, i dislike futa and played the game despite, not because of it. Its plot begins personally driven because... well its a personal story. Your no hero and saving the world wasnt in the job description. You got thrown into this shit. This premise has just sooo much potential. A new beginning in a new world in a new body. Adeventure, experience, mystery, character and relationship developement. A blank slate with a believable plot. But at some point unfortunately the character developement stops and only the power level keeps rising. Instead of personally driven the plot becomes a grand scheme of black and white and personality gets replaced with gimmicks. At the end the main char felt repulsive to me. Getting shoved like a rook, running in circles and repeatedly switching between something like: I must save my love at all costs and: I have to sacrifice my love for the greater good. Cmon mate i care for the girls you introduced to me. Not the worlds i dont know about. Long story short, i can see the ideas that were tried to be implemented. But it just feels rushed and unrefined. Haste makes waste. Also the lack of bgm and different art to look at points out to the grammar mistakes, that otherwise werent so bad. Also the hidden stat system is something i peronally like, but it makes unraveling the splits a chore. My conclusion half the game is good 3/5
Keepers 1: Revolution is an incredibly good, incredibly depressing story. Sex content is primarily bad ends, and they're largely mindbreak. Unlike some other "bad end collector" games, all of the bad ends left me feeling dirty and not at all aroused. The use of Koikatsu for the art in a completely crapsack setting feels a bit out-of-place. It neither leans into a crapsaccharine aesthetic, nor does it change things to reflect the mood of the scene. It's just there. I know the blurb on the front page said "soon begins to understand how horrible this world can be." but I wasn't adequately prepared. It is both a compelling page-turner, but at the same time I also regret having read it.
this quickly became one of my favorite novels. so many great unique characters, an interesting world, and plot that keeps you engaged. I usually don't have a tough time reading stuff with these tags, but I really cared for some of the characters some of the endings were really hard to watch. I appreciate all the hard work it took to make this story and I can't wait to get into the sequel!
Great story, full of heartbreaking moments that make your jaw drop. It's a work of art in terms of story telling. Only criticisms are high pace of the story in the last few chapters and the difficulty in obtaining the actual true ending. The in game mechanics used to obtain different endings are a bit annoying and require you to replay the game a few times to obtain the true ending because you need to unlock all the bad endings first to unlock the true ending which also requires you to play the game in a way that has you max out the sanity stat. In my opinion these problems aren't that important when I take into account what a ride this game was. Each character is great, their personalities are well built and you get really used to them. The game is sometimes sad, sometimes it has its happy moments but ultimately it leads to a bittersweet ending that perfectly sets up the sequel if you obtain the true ending. Easily one of the best games on the site.
It was somewhat a roller coaster. Every characcter is cute and the story feels like it wasnt that forced and actually makes sens. Hol up a h game that have god stories? is that actually possibru? yes its. By the help of the community and the awesome dev, this game might be the next best thing for all story driven h games out ther. I came for the plot, and i leave with tears
An outstanding game, covering a lot fetishes, amazing story, leading me to cry several times. In this game you feel connections with other characters, their development. Big and thoughtful world. Now it's one of my top-5 favorite games on this site, although I felt a lot sadness after the ending (and joy too), like succubus-futanari made a big hole in my heart . Would definitely recommend this game to anyone, it's just a masterpiece in my eyes, 10/10. The only thing I would suggest it's to add animations, but that's not important, game already contains a lot good images and content.
I had to wait a few days after finishing the game to write a review worthy of the whole experience. I don't even know where to start. I don't play adult VNs for the scenes, I do however absolutely love good stories with drama and while what is and isn't good is very subjective I think the author definitely achieved what he was aiming for. It was an emotional roller-coaster, the main narrative was engaging and unpredictable, the author made an interesting universe that can be expanded upon, I got attached to the characters, especially the MC and oh boy, the ending... I wish there was maybe less time skipping and even more quality time with the characters but overall I can't wait for the sequel. 10/10
Came for the horny, staying for the plot. Well thought out world and (mostly) likeable characters struggling through shit situations. Strings you along with the carrot of hope while simultaneously beating you in the feels with a stick.
