Kindred is a Godot visual novel from KindredDev, built with 3DCG animated scenes. You play a male protagonist whose best friend and startup partner gives him glasses that record social interactions. His relationship with a girlfriend who is not ready to move forward becomes strained as new choices tempt him. The story centers on cheating and corruption, asking whether loyalty or desire will shape his company and personal life.
The current release is v0.25.5, dated July 31, 2026, and development remains ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Android, with English text and no censorship. This update adds new dialogue and renders, a possible new love interest tied to Lana’s branch, visual novel auto-skip options, a default choice-skipping setting, rollback during scenes, an alpha route guide, interface changes, and a pause button in the messaging app. It also fixes journal loading, background saving, advance button behavior, text size, and gallery deletion issues.
